    Toxic Scent and Not Special Enough for the PriceI was overwhelmed by the perfume with which this child's toy is manufactured. It simply cannot be healthy to breath so many chemicals - at any age! Additionally, the quality of this doll is no better than the $29.00 and $19.00 dolls I have purchased form local discount stores for $20.00. It's simply absurd to charge the high premium for this toy. It does not compare to other Adora dolls I have given to my daughters in the past. 2Beautiful baby boy Or girlThe WOOF! Adora doll arrived in the mail today, and he is absolutely adorable. He seems to be well-made, but I think his head is a little bit too small for the body size. I checked him over pretty good, because we just returned a different Adora baby that was made poorly, and both of its arms tore, and one fell off completely 2 weeks after Christmas (it was opened Christmas morning).Unfortunately my almost 5-year-old daughter wanted a baby girl, so the blue doggy outfit came off immediately to be replaced by an over abundance of pink. Still an adorable doll either way. The second picture is placed side-by-side with the Babble Baby doll (also purchased on Amazon) for size comparison. I think the babble baby has a more proportionate head to body size ratio considering infants and toddlers have larger heads. In my opinion, this makes for a more realistic looking baby doll and my daughter gets comments about how real she looks all the time. (we love the Babble baby doll, she was purchased in April for my daughter's birthday, and has held up beautifully with lots of love daily).Overall, the Adora doll is adorable, and my 4 year old said she thinks other little girls would love her too. 5Returned itI guess it is ok for some considering the positive reviews, but we didn t like it. I m certainly glad i didn t pay 100 bucks for him and got the sale around 60. Still too much for it. My daughter and I both thought it had way too strong of a smell. Three stars just because of weight and feel but we decided to return it and spend the money on a more realistic baby. 3The Doll is so cute!This doll looks so real and I have him. He really is cute and cuddly and overall I give him five stars. I named him Oliver. He is almost five pounds and wears 0-3 month clothing and newborn shoes. 5This baby doll has a beautiful face and hairThis baby doll has a beautiful face and hair. His body is soft and his cloths are cute and well made, but I am very disappointed that a doll costing as much this one does does not have soft arms, legs and face. They are cheap plastic or vinyl should I say! I also bought a cute girl doll but she is exactly the same. Hard as a rock! 3The Kiddo Loves It \_( )_/ I purchased this doll when it was on sale for $30 after considering it for months. It is made of quality materials, is well put together and was well packaged, but I'm kind of "meh" on it overall. Looking at it straight on, the head seems a bit too small for the body and I have trouble believing that it is really 20 inches long as my son's 18 inch Corolle doll seems much bigger. I'm also not a fan of how the hat is stitched to the scalp and the doll just does not look as cherubic and cuddly as it does in the stock photos. My issues with the doll aside, my five year old son took to it immediately and added it to his growing nursery of babies, and his opinion is the one that matters most. I'm still glad I didn't pay the retail price. 3He is a beautiful baby.My 8-year old granddaughter has this baby, and truly loves him. He is a beautiful baby.Update, a year later, hair still looks great, eyelashes still on, still a beautiful baby - very well-made doll! He is still my granddaughter's favorite baby! 5good value for $29, but wouldn't pay the suggested priceMy niece's granddaughter is going to have a baby brother and I thought this would be the perfect doll for her to practice on because it is a more lifelike size. I wish I could have gotten a good deal on the size of doll that didn't have a cotton body, but this one had to do. The plastic is a bit hard and not truly life like. The painting on the face and the hair are very realistic. She loves it and carts it around. My niece is even karting it around and practicing for her new grandson! For about $29 I felt it was a good deal. But evidently this doll has sold for much much more. I wouldn't pay more than $29. 4Very good baby for the priceThis little guy is adorable.Pros- realistic features and gorgeous eyes, all limbs and head turn to pose him, his outfit is adorable, nice hair, scent of baby powder similar to cabbage patch dolls.Cons- very hard plastic face and limbs they do not squish they are almost as hard as porcelain accept they're plastic. He is a smaller body baby may need preemie or newborn clothes.Overall I would only buy him when he's on sale like I did I got him for $29 bucks! Not worth $60 or more. I've included a pic of him in the front next to my Paradise Galleries-and NPK dolls 4BabyI have a resident in a nursing home that I work at that has sun downers and gets upset looking for her babies. I ordered this baby to help her. She loves her baby it looks real and feels real. She cuddles it and talks to it. It was well worth the money I paid for it. 5
