Great save!This toy is HUGE. My son LOVES IT! I also saw this on Toys R Us for $130! Great save! 5Kids LOVE itMy 3 year old son has played with this nonstop since he received it as a birthday gift. It is big and tough. Once he opened this gift, he ignored all his other presents, which the other kids at the party kindly helped open for him. He loves the door opening and hood lifting up features, but has managed to remove both doors. The trailer has plastic slide bars which fall off easily. This is mostly made of heavy duty plastic, but is very durable and I'm looking at another Bruder Granite for Christmas gift. 4This is a great feature because if they were not built like that ...We bought this for our son for Christmas. I waited until now to review it so I could see how it holds up outside. As with all Bruder trucks I have purchased so far it is amazingly realistic. I have never seen a toy with as much detail as these bruder toys. This is basically what the description states. It is durable plastic. Parts that get used a lot (doors) will pop off, but then can be re attached with ease. This is a great feature because if they were not built like that they would be BROKEN off. The trailer can be detached. The backhoe is very realistic as with all bruder vehicles. This in my opinion is the best starter set for Bruder vehicles. You get a mack dump truck that has box that raises, a detachable trailer with moveable ramps, a backhoe that is an amazing toy in itself. 5Very large toyThis toy is really large! The qualty seems pretty good but I'm pretty picky about the quality of plastic toys, I wish it was just a bit sturdier but still very good. I know my 4 year old son is going to love it. The only reason it got 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the price.. $100 is pricey for a plastic toy truck. 4Wonderful toy truck, do not recommend for WILD little boys.This is an amazing truck but unfortunately it did not survive my 4 year old, which was our fear. My son takes absolutely everything apart and we thought he was old enough for a truck like this and wanted to give him a chance and he has completely destroyed it in just a couple of months. I would recommend this toy for a child who will calmly sit and play. If you have a wild child who launches trucks off of "cliffs" and simulates all sorts of dangerous activities with his toys then maybe you don't want to spend so much, as we did. All in all, I do not regret the purchase, he has loved it and we finally realized what not to buy next time. Bruder toys are great for the growing imagination. 5Awesome truck but arrived damaged.My son LOVES this truck, but when it arrived three tiny red plastic pieces fell out. It was hard to tell where they belonged, but when my son opened it at Christmas we realized it was from where the flatbed snaps in to the truck. It still work fine but I'm bugged that I paid so much money for a damaged product. The return/exchange policy requires us to ship back the product before we receive the new one (even though I'd be willing to pay for the new one while we wait for the return to be processed), but my son doesn't want to have a day without his truck. I'd give it 5 stars if it didn't arrive damaged. 4Product is great and he/we couldn't be more pleasedBought this for my 2yo son. I know that's a little on the young side, but he's a very technical "player" and is very gentle on his toys as we've taught him to be. Product is great and he/we couldn't be more pleased, he will play with these Bruder toys for hours on end and also loves his little Bruder men that can drive the trucks. I read many reviews before purchasing and yes, they are made of plastic, and yes, some parts are more rubbery to allow give when dropped (better to give a little than break) etc, but this is a very high quality toy and is a better choice for my young guy that heavy di-cast products. Nothing broken thus far, but it's great if something does pop off it can easily be popped back on or you can buy spare parts from the factory at very reasonable prices. 5Disappointingly fragileThis toy, despite other reviews, is disappointingly fragile. My son, nearly 3, is not a super destructive guy. But he has played with this for 7 days now and I've already had to glue two pieces back to it. It's too bad, he loves it, but I'm pretty sure it'll be a mess of broken pieces within a month or two. For the price, totally NOT worth it. I wish I hadn't bought it, and had gone with something either cheaper or more robust, because now I can see the near future: it'll break apart and no amount of super glue will put it back together again. 2but he loved the truckThis was a gift for my grandson who turned 5 and was the one he asked for when he went through the Bruder toys on Amazon.com. I didn't read the dimensions when I ordered; just took his word that he wanted THAT truck. So, I was surprised when they brought a chest high box to the door. That was a doozy to wrap, but he loved the truck. He still does. He takes it out in the yard and scoops up the rocks from the driveway and takes them somewhere else to unload them. It's plenty big that he doesn't have to crawl to do that. He tried riding it, but it isn't quite that big. He is a fan of Bruder trucks and I think his goal is to eventually own all of them. He's well on his way, as they are good trucks, realistic, and mostly hold up well. 5Great toy!!!My 4 year old son just got this for Chanukah and he was over the moon when he unwrapped it. He did a little dance of joy, and kept saying COOL!The toy itself is constructed to withstand the trials of the rough and tough abuse of a little boy. All of the other Bruder toys we have are still in the same condition right out of the box. Hopefully they will stay that way for the little brother. The toy requires no batteries which means our son only needs his imagination, and we don't have to hear the load sounds of a battery operated toy.LOVE LOVE LOVE this toy! 5
