Thank you, Buffalo! :-) 5Good puzzle for elder hands and Wandering mindsI am always looking for puzzles that are for elders with subjects that are interesting to an older person. The pieces are larger and thicker for easy pick up and seeing where it possible can be inserted into the scene. The picture is enlightening and has conversation interest. The puzzle itself is not to big so a wandering mind can get gratification of a finished puzzle more quickly and the colours are varied enough so separation of corner,edges and colours can be useful steps.I would highly recommend the puzzle for elders. The Company Buffalo Games was efficient in getting the order and mailing it in a timely manner. 5Great puzzle, but first time we put it together ...Great puzzle, but first time we put it together it was missing a piece. We did it on a table in the middle of a big open space, not really anywhere for us to have lost it. 2Frustrating for a seniorI bought a couple of Buffalo puzzles for my 86 year old mother. In general, I find this brand to be frustrating for her. The pieces seem to be a little smaller than other large piece puzzles so she has difficulty picking them up. The shapes are very similar so she can't always tell if a piece fits in the right place. At least on the two I purchase, the orientation is vertical rather than horizontal so they don't fit as well on her table.For the money, I will look at other brand of large piece puzzles in the future. 2LovelyThis puzzle was priced as an add-on item at $3.80 on sale and it was quite the bargain. The birds were super easy to put together, but the wood fence and indistinct white flowers were a bit more challenging than you might expect. The quality of the pieces is very high. The cut is clean and crisp with no snags at all. In fact, I think this puzzle was a noticeably higher quality than the other buffalo games puzzles (and they are all good quality) I have put together. I don't understand that, unless there are grades of quality in their production and this was a premium puzzle? This is the first large piece format puzzle from Buffalo I have worked on, so maybe that is the answer. The puzzle picture is lovely, clear and vibrant and every puzzle piece included in my box. One visit she said she wished she could do a puzzle but was afraid she could never 'complete one of these'. I purchased the Songbird and gave it to her on the next time she stopped by. A few days later a big smile arrived with a cell phone picture of progress on the Songbird Menagerie. The box description clearly says "Large Piece Jigsaw Puzzle". Make no mistake about it, these pieces are NOT large. If you need a puzzle with large pieces, this is not for you.
