    Great Variation in Shapes!This is the best fun I have had completing a jigsaw puzzle in a long time. It falls into the "difficult" category. The puzzle was unusual in the details of the rocks. It reminded me of my college geology class. I enjoyed searching the puzzle pieces to match the rock patterns. It was challenging but fun.Unlike most puzzles, there was a huge variation in the shapes of the pieces. In fact, I don't think I have ever had a puzzle with this many different shapes. It was fabulous! To complicate matters, several different pieces would fit into one space, and at first glance they looked to be a match. However, that is part of the game, and this added to the fun.The pieces themselves are a nice weight and dust was minimal. The surfaces are nicely finished and the completed puzzle looks good enough to display. I like the fact that Buffalo Games uses recycled materials. That is an unexpected bonus.Another tremendous bonus to the Buffalo Games puzzles is the poster which is included with each. It definitely helped me to find the correct position of the rock pieces in the foreground. Even with the help of the poster, I needed to use reading glasses to put the puzzle together. I augmented my overhead lights with task lighting to discern the details, especially of the forest pieces.I wish the hikers hadn't been in the picture. It ruined the tranquility of the scene for me.Overall, I recommend this puzzle for anyone experienced. But I definitely think it is not appropriate for a family just looking for a fun time. 5Beautiful and challenging!I got this piece for my nana, and have patiently been waiting for her to finish it so I could write a review!As of last week, she completed this, in her words, hum dinger of a puzzle. In other words she loved it. It kept her occupied for days at a time and was challenging enough for her to become annoyed (she flies through puzzles and loves hard pieces).Overall, not only a lovely picture but challenging enough for even the more advanced puzzlers! 5A pretty scene in a puzzle that wasn't too hard to finishI buy these types of jigsaw puzzles for my wife and I to enjoy, and to help keep our minds sharper as we approach retirement age. This was a fun puzzle--not too frustrating, and pretty to see. I'd buy more from this maker. I wouldn't object to lower price points, therefore I awarded 4 stars in hopes that equivalent products with the same quality can be purchased at lower cost. 4Beautiful image, pieces don't fit tightlyThis is a beautiful image for a puzzle, and it's not too large for a weekend activity here and there. My only complaint is that the pieces do not snap together or fit particularly tightly, so it is possible to incorrectly piece things together. It gets figured out eventually, but can throw you off in the process.Also, if you assemble sections outside the border or on another surface, moving them can involve rebuilding the entire section - picking up multiple pieces together is just not likely with how loosely they fit together.Also, it's a rather dark puzzle (lots of very similar dark shaded pieces), so I strongly recommend making sure to have very good light (good practice anyway). 4Wow!One of the best puzzles I've put together. Not all pieces unique, though.I loved the beautiful, colorful picture of this puzzle. That's the reason I bought it, and the finished product did not disappoint. I agree with a previous reviewer that there are enough edges and features to help you solve puzzle parts by sight and then build out from there. I, too, found the rock to be the most challenging. I was reduced to looking for a particular puzzle piece shape for much of the build out of that section. (I need a piece with 3 knobs and 1 hole...) I finished the rock last.I gave this puzzle 4 stars because I found that not all of the shapes were unique. There were several times when I put pieces together that "fit", but then had to decide that they actually didn't go together. Being a new jigsaw puzzler, I don't know if this is common or not. I didn't seem to have this issue on the other puzzles that I have done.Nevertheless, I DO recommend this puzzle. It was fun to put together and is very beautiful finished. 4Really enjoyed this puzzle with my wifeReally enjoyed this puzzle with my wife. We did come across 4 pieces that were missing, but found the website for buffalo games on the box and they have a form that you can fill out if you were missing pieces. When you provide more information from the box, they ship you a brand new puzzle of the same kind, because they cannot guarantee that pieces from one puzzle to the next will fit into one another. We haven't put the second one together, but it's nice that they will stand behind their product. 5Great Puzzle with High-Quality GraphicsGreat picture! This was given as a Christmas gift and the recipient loved it! It's hard to find puzzles that have really pretty scenes. There are lots of colors and will be a challenge for completion -- great for anyone looking to add a new puzzle to their collection. 5Fun and ChallengingThis is the first jigsaw puzzle I have ever purchased and I loved it. It was very challenging, but not so much that I couldn't complete it. All of the pieces were in the box. Quality pieces and beautiful landscape. I have already purchased my next puzzle. 5Several pieces fit where they shouldn t. Don t waste money.Quite disappointed in this puzzle. I made at least three mistakes on the border because many pieces fit almost perfectly, where they shouldn t. The same thing is happening with the inside pieces, as well. I double/triple check each piece to make sure it fits and then am worried it s wrong. Not worth the trouble. Want my money back. 1
