This Is The Best Thing Ever InventedI always hesitated to put a pencil or pen into my 2-year old Grandson's hands because I remember the horror of my daughter when she was that age. Wrote on EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING - the kitchen set, the walls, the carpets, her face! Oh, boy!!! Well, before I even gave my Grandson these pens, I had to test it out for myself. Believe me, I was scared, LOL! Lo and behold, no marks! JOY!!! Now, my Grandson can color all he wants and even if those little hands get antsy and want to move away to something more expensive than paper, you don't have to faint. I still tell him that paper is the only place we color (because he has to learn that rule) but at least my house won't end up looking like a Unicorn farted a rainbow across it. 5Stress free flying!I bought this for a long plane trip I had with the kids (ages 4 & 1). I was soooo impressed by this little markers (they are about half size of regular markets). My daughte loves the colors and was content drawing for most of our 4 hour flight. My son didn't really get the concept of drawing on the paper and decided to draw ALL OVER the seats instead. At first I was like "oh no you can't draw on the seats!" Then once I realized they were leaving absolutely no marks I handed him as many as his heart desired. All in all happy trip thanks to these markers! I seriously think all planes should have them in hand for kids! 5Saved our home from accidental orange marks!!Another fabulous product from Crayola! Thank you!! Color Wonder products have saved my home from a new toddler-artist, who fell in love with markers (and it showed in accidental whoops-my-hand-flew-off-the-page marks everywhere)!!! While I gladly accept the trade-off, it s important to note that there is a, maybe, half- second delay, between the making of a mark and the color actually showing up, which can, perhaps, be a slight disruption in the creative process for one just learning how coloring works.Also, after about a day, the colors on the paper start to bleed into each other a bit. So, if your child creates a beautiful masterpiece that you d like to save, know that it will look a bit different within 24 hours. Heavy scribbling with lines close or overlapping, for example, may eventually become a mass of color. Just good information to know, ahead of time.As a several-times-daily pastime for my toddler, as opposed to the full-attention, contained, supervised art time projects, it is beyond worth it for us! Overall a great price for a great product from a wonderful seller! Thank you! 5Markers are great, paint is messyThis is a really nice set for any young fans of Color Wonder. I have a two year old who loves to paint and use markers but I am not fully confident in her ability to keep it on the paper. My child started using regular markers and paint while she was outside, but I have started letting her draw inside using the Color Wonder. She took the Color Wonder markers quickly and is able to determine the colors based upon the packaging even though the markers outside the paper are clear. She also likes the paints but me not so much - my child doesn't understand that she only needs to use just a little bit of the paints and uses huge globs. The end result looks like it was painted with multi colored jelly and because the pigments have been activated by the paper it can stain other things.I'm not sure if I would ever get the paints again because they are messy, but I know we will be using the Color Wonder for years. The markers don't dry out easily, which is nice because the caps don't always get put back on. 4decent starter setmy toddler has enjoyed playing with this marker/paper pad set, but i wish the colors were a little brighter, and more diverse shades of colors... there are 2 packs of markers, not exactly the same packs of markers, but several colors [pink, orange, blue] are very similar shades. so there are a couple of very similar pinks, very similar blues and very similar oranges which really cuts down on the amount of different colors all together between the 2 packs of markers 3Will buy these forever!This is the greatest gift to moms everywhere! My daughter (18 months when she received this) loves coloring with these markers, and they do not make a mess anywhere since they will not write on anything but the Color Wonder paper. Not our white couch (yes, we're crazy enough to have a white couch with a toddler), not the walls, not the carpet, hands, anywhere. There is a bit of lag time from when you actually draw a stroke on the paper to when the color shows up (like, I'm talking milliseconds). I was worried at first that this would interfere with her ability to associate the marker with the color it was suppose to be. Because the markers are labeled with the correct colors, she is having no problems associating the colors with the appropriate marker.One added bonus is that these seem to never dry out! My girl has left them un-topped for days and they still write just as well as they ever did. 5Great Product, 10 Pastel markers sent instead of 10 Bright markersMy 22 month old loves using these when she visits Grandmas house so I've finally ordered some for home. I ordered this set specifically for the package of 10 Bright markers (the colors I've seen in person seem a little dull to me so I wanted the brights). Instead of Bright colors, I received a pack of pastel markers and a pack of the classic colors. -1 star for the incorrect markers being shipped but otherwise I'm happy with the set and so is my daughter... she doesn't care if they are pastel or bright colors she seems to only care that they work. I will be purchasing the brights separately for when I color with her. 4Perfect for toddlersI bought this for my 2 year old after her recent obsession with coloring. The twistable crayons were no longer making the cut after she used expo markers one time. Unlike expo markers, I can confidently let her color with these without constantly watching her because they only work on the special paper. With that said, they ONLY work on the special paper which frustrates her when she wants to color in other notebooks. I also noticed there s a slight delay when using the markers on paper before the it appears. We are happy with this product. 5
