I love this! I mean...my friend's kid loves this!I bought this for someone. Not me! But "someone else"...a child I'm sure. Not me! This child said she liked it and the articulation points make her seem very real. She's not a doll, she's an action figure! 4Good doll, nothing on under skirt?This is a good doll and it's a hit with our kid. I do think it's weird that this doll is sold with nothing on under her skirt. How is she supposed to fly around? 3Very well made but not as Super as the rest of the lineI loved this toy line when I first heard about it but from the photos I was not impressed by Supergirl. We had intended to buy Wonder Woman but couldn't find her so my daughter chose Supergirl instead. We now have Batgirl and Poison Ivy as well. When looking at the three closely I think the reason I don't like Supergirl as much is in her eyes which are much larger than the other two and somewhow messes up the proportions of her face. Like the rest of the line she is an articulated muscular action figure doll with brushable hair. She is wearing a short dress with the Super symbol. Personally I don't like the look of the dress with the white collar. Under the collar is a yellow necklace with a blue diamond in front that wraps around to the back of her neck where the prongs stick up to hold her cape. The cape is removable and molded to look like it is flowing out in folds. The cape is the only accessory of all of the dolls that has caused problems because it has repeatedly fallen off. It stays on well if the prongs are pushed all the way through but at some point during play they have fallen or been pushed down and the cape falls off. She has a red wrist band and a light blue wristband. I don't like the color choice of the light blue wristband which matches the small diamond of her necklace and her hardly visible headband but not the blues of her shirt so it seems off. To remove the wrist bands you must first remove the hands which easily pop on and off. She has tall white socks and tall red boots with the Super symbol on the sides. Her long white blonde hair reaches her waist. She does not come with a brush for the doll like similar dolls do which I assume was a conscious choice to separate these super hero dolls from fashion dolls. The line is debuting exclusively at the bullseye store so the price listed here is higher than the retail price. I really love the line and this doll is very well made but seems to be lacking some of the details in the other dolls in my opinion. My daughter, however, loves her and she is the favorite of the three dolls in this line that we have so it's likely a girl that likes her or Supergirl will be pleased. 4Best doll size to play with of all dolls on the market.I had Three girls and they immediately began to play with them. Ages 8 and 4. Soooo glad I bought this doll! Much better than the big American Doll to play with. This doll is larger than a Barbie and can stand alone! I bought the Rubie's Kids Costumes for the girls to have matching clothes with the doll. Loved it! 5Best Figure in this Line!!This to me is the best of all of the figures they make in this line, other then one of the Poison Ivy figures. Un like most of this product line, she does not have molded on costume parts but is a true doll. Everything comes off and you can dress her in any outfit you want. Her articulation is amazing, her hands come off and she even has a gripping hand instead of just palm flat or clenched fist. 5Wholesome "action figure" kind of doll ... sturdy and nice.So, I was going to give my 7yr old grand-daughter a doll with fancy clothes, porcelain face and arms, that had a music box in it. Her Mom advised against it for the time being (with good reason!). So I had to go to another plan and put the porcelain doll away for a few years.I spent HOURS going through the Amazon dolls looking for "just the right one". I've already given her an "American Girl" doll; she has several fashion dolls, and I am not big on those. And many of the other trending dolls just looked creepy to me! (Yes, there are other toys out there, but at Christmas, I give her a doll!) Then I saw this one. It looks so "wholesome" compared to all the others. Still I put off ordering it.Still mulling, I happened to be out shopping one day (infrequent occurrence) and saw these in the store. That cinched it. Bigger than I had envisioned, and fairly sturdy looking, I decided to order it. I like the whole idea of the super hero girls, and they are made in reasonable proportions. I expect she will play with these on her own, but also with older brother and his batman action figures.I am very pleased with the quality, appearance, and packaging of the DC super hero supergirls dolls. 5Pleased with the purchaseProduct information well detailed, the product corresponds to the description, and sent to the expected date, thanks and see you in a next purchase 5Easy fix for cape!My 6yo niece wasn't even familiar with the character, and she loves it!The cape does come off very easily. (Wow, that was a bad design for attaching it!)But it's an easy fix, *IF* the kid is old enough to be trusted with a couple of twist-ties. (Use blue for best results!)Attach one twist tie to each of the cape's holes. Bring the twist ties forward over her shoulders, then back below her arms. Twist the two ties together across her back and tuck the ends up so they aren't visible under the cape.Using this method, Supergirl's cape stayed on through a ton of play. And if she wants the cape off, a grown-up can remove it for her in seconds. 5My niece loves this, but they should have painted ...My niece loves this, but they should have painted something under her skirt. The lack of shorts or underwear makes for awkward crime fighting adventures. 4At least my daughter likes itMy daughter loves it but I wasn't as happy. Her hair was completely uneven. Out of the box it looked like a toddler had cut her hair. 3
