    An Excellent Puzzle for a Beginner.My daughter has a cube that I swear came from the dark ages. It's way too big for her hands (it's way too big for my hands) it's awkward and clunky and has a tendency to not cut a corner very well. It's fallen apart twice because the sides weren't completely lined up. It's beast of a puzzle, but it satisfied a need and for what it was, it was good. Regardless, I knew there had to be better ones out there.I came across the D-FantiX YJ Guanlong Speed Cube 3x3 among a long list of contenders. To be honest, it was the price point that drew me to it. I am nowhere near a professional cuber, so finger tricks aren't as important as learning the basics of CFOP. I knew that the higher in price I went, the more built for speed they would be; outfitted with springs and magnets to ensure quick proper alignment, which is fine. Several hours of practice time on this puzzle has made it a tad too squishy; loose, but not falling apart. Not accurate and not fast, but that was all right since I wasn't looking for that. However, while I might not be pro, the action wasn't helping any. Thankfully, the center pieces can be popped out with minimal effort to reveal a tension screw. I took a Phillip's head and adjusted accordingly, and now it is much better. Not snappy or speedy, but noticeably better. Knowing this increased the value of what was supposed to be a lower end puzzle.Would I recommend this is as a competition cube? I cannot say because it all comes down to preference. I can say that it feels good in my hand, it has racked up hours of solves, and is very good to practice on. If you're a beginner looking to get your rhythm down for sub-whatever you're trying to get to, then I highly recommend this. 4Fast, but maybe too loose?It's certainly a fast cube! Very loose and smooth which makes for quick turning. Unfortunately, when doing fast finger tricks, it sometimes over-rotates and the looseness means that an individual edge piece might spin in place (which then makes the cube unsolvable). At that point, the cube has to be taken apart and put back again. It's not hard to take apart/put back, but it's still a bother... 3QUALITYThis cube is super fast and cool to look at because of its neon-ish colors. The corner twists once in a while but its east to twist back. GET THIS CUBE ITS SUPER FAST!!!! 5If you are starting out with Cube Solving get this cube.This is better than the Rubik's Cube version. Smooth glide and can speed through it. I dislike the sticker construction but it does state that it has stickers on it. I also have over shot my some of my rotations but it is better than the stiffness in the Rubik's Brand cube that says "easy glide". If you are starting out with speed cubing or want to learn to solve a cube with less hand and finger strain this cube is the best starting point and I would recommend it. For me, I was looking for something to speed through and it works well but I should maybe buy a more pricey speed cube. 3So far this seems to be amazing. It doesn't seem to corner cut a huge amount, but I could see this shaving some time off of my solves. At first, I wasn't fond of the orange, because it is different from what I'm used to, but I'm warming to it quickly. I have yet to take it apart, drop it or do anything to test its durability, so I can't say anything about that.I also noticed that it is quite a bit lighter than the sticker-free rubik's cube brand cube(non-speed) and it turns easier than mine even though i've used silicone lubricant on it. It's also considerably quieter. 5Smooth, light, fast!Very good speed cube. I have about 40 cubes and this makes the top 5. Buttery smooth, very little effort to turn, good for finger tricks. It's a little light in the hands. Cuts corners well. Great value. I paid 9 bucks for it and would gladly have paid a few more. 5Beginner cuber loves cube, loose springs?I'm fairly new to Rubix cube solving- under a week actually. But, since I first picked up my $1 dollar store stocking stuffer cube my girlfriend got me, I've been obsessed. After a few days I realized that for like 6 or 7 bucks I could get a cube that wasn't a hassle to turn, so I did a little bit of research and got the YJ GL 3x3. It's a lot looser than I expected- probably because it's the first cube I've played with that wasn't garbage. I'm starting to get the feel for the "finger flick" turn moves, or whatever they're called, but it's clumsy because of how loose the springs are. Still, it's a world of difference with comfort, ease, and speed compared to my last, cheap cube. Absolutely worth the money spent, highly recommend for a beginner. 5Unbeatable cube for the priceThe GuanLong is known for being one of the cheapest "good" speedcubes on the market and now I understand why. I bought this cube so I would have something decent to practice with while I waited for a higher end cube to ship from China.Out of the box it felt really dry but also smooth. After running through some turns and practice solves it lost the dry sandy feeling and really smoothed out. I think truly the only downside to this cube is corner cutting ability, which is limited to the florian cutouts, and no more.Stickers are the nice YJ/MoYu colors, which is my favorite, and they are well placed. The box was noticeably cheaper than the more expensive MoYu cubes, but that is a non-issue. Overall this is an unbeatable value for the money for anyone interested in learning to solve a rubik's cube for the first time, or just getting started in speed cubing. Extremely satisfied with this cube. 5Not for the Faint of heart.Be careful with this Rubix cube. It will allow you to solve so fast that your hands may catch on fire. Also, I'm pretty sure it's made in China so if you hands DO start on fire you won't be able to sue them. 5THIS IS DEFINITELY MY MAIN!!!!!Im a speed cuber and i thing this cube is great. It corner cuts amazingly and easy to doo finger tricks. This is definitely my main. I would highly recommend this product. Thanks! 5
