Our family likes playing this game. Although, we ...Our family likes playing this game. Although, we have switched up the rules. When playing with multiple generations, we decided to give each person a timed turn. It they can't answer in the allotted time anyone can BLURT out the answer. 5great game but i wish it had more cardsgreat game but i wish it had more cards. we have played it 4 times in 2 days and have gone through half the deck (easy side). it is a quick game (about 5- 10 min) so we usually play at least 2 games. i'm still happy with the game and purchase but it just doesn't warrant 5 stars with the amount cards included 4The Best!This is the best game ever! I love playing it with the kids and they love it to meanwhile it is educational and they don't even realize it lol the Only drawback is kids need to be around the same age intelligence to play at the same time and be fair. 5Fun and vocabulary building!I brought this to school for my students to play and they loved it! It's fun to use the actual game board, but it works just as well to just pull cards out in front of the class and have everyone guess. 5Dumb dumb DUMB.This game is downright STUPID, for any player, any age. Do not waste your money on this junk. The questions are so easy my dog could answer them, there is no challenge whatsoever--- its simply a race to see who can "blurt" out the answer faster than the person next to you. The premise of the game is: the card gives you hint, players are supposed to "blurt" out guesses or answers until someone says the right thing. But the hints are so glaringly obvious theres no guessing at all, just be the first to yell out the obvious answer. Dumb dumb dumb game, not worth the cardboard box it comes in. It was Christmas gift for my 10 year old daughter to play with the family, and even my 10 year old was like, "What??? This is lame." Returned it after the first play. 1Great grame !!!!!Great game I used it my high school classroom, a little modification to meet my students' needs. I read the definitions and the whole class play as individuals. We had a blast, so much so that another teacher next door had to see what all the ruckus was about. My students loved it, it's a keeper. My only concern is getting new cards once these are used several times, which could mean a vocabulary lesson with the students finding words and definitions for a new set to play with! 5Great educational gameI love this game.....as an educational game, for now. As another reviewer said, if you're playing with a mixed age group, the older players will be able to win pretty easily. We usually play it with our 8 year old, and we often pretend that we're still searching for the word in order to give him a better chance at winning. While we adults don't mind holding back like that, a group of mixed age children would probably be different. So if you have younger and older children, you might want to team them up with an adult each to level the playing field.Apart from that (which in our case isn't a problem), the game is awesome. It makes the kids listen and focus, and is great for vocabulary studies. I think the recommendation said 10 and up, but my son is playing it pretty well at 8. So if you're willing to give some assistance, younger children can play it, too.It's fun to play, but for it to be REALLY fun and competitive, the playing field must be pretty level. I would love to try it out as a party game with a group of adults, but for now, I'm very happy that my son is enjoying the game and learning at the same time ;-) 5I am a teacher and my kids love this gameI am a teacher and my kids love this game! They have fun while challenging themselves to think about word meanings. It is a great game for ESL students. The packaging is sturdy and the rules are simple and easy to follow. Some of the words kids wouldn t know so they can get frustrated ... most they don t know I m glad they re building they re vocabulary but some they honestly just don t need to since they re so outdated .. overall great game and plenty of questions to use ! 5There is nothing to this game. You just take turns reading the definition of a very simple word out loud and say what it is.Not loving the game. The idea is to say the definition of a word and then everyone blurts out what the word is. At the same time. Whoever says the word first, wins and gets to move their piece on the game board. The words, however, are extremely simple and it was difficult to play the game as a family because literally everyone would shout out the answer before the person could finish reading the definition.No one in our family enjoyed the game--and we are big party and board game people. Disappointed I spent so much money on this. You could LITERALLY do the same thing by opening a dictionary and reading the definition of a word. Whoever guesses what the word is, moves their piece.I thought the words were going to be wacky bizarre words and the "hilarity of guessing what the word is". Wrong. You get words like this (these are actual words from the game): Bat, Bark, Fire, Apple, Resume. So lame.That's it. There is nothing else to the game. Read a definition of a word--guess what the word is. You're done. 1
