My son's have fun playing with the individual vehiclesMy sons have fun playing with the individual vehicles, but you can't actually "drive" the car onto the flatbed. They don't seem to mind though. Our car came without the red hubcaps on one side. I reached out to Green Toys asking for replacement hubcaps to snap on. I was told they couldn't send the hubcaps but would send a replacement car. The car did arrive, about two months later. 3Another hit from Green ToysWe've become a fan of Green Toys in my house not only because of their sustainability factor, but also because of their ruggedness and playability. With a 3-year old and a 20 month old, our toys go through hell, but this truck has withstood being sat on, stepped on, kicked, spilled on, etc.The car and flatbed work extremely well together and they work well as an outside or an inside toy. Both girls love playing with them and combine them with their other toys.The part that I like the most is the absence of any metal pieces or anything that can cause any serious injury. I also enjoy the fact that the whole thing can be dropped in our recycling bin if we ever need to dispose of it. 5Fun toy for dad and babe!The car is one of baby girls favorite toys...in the bath, zooming it around, chewing on it, watching us zoom it all over...she has loved it from 6 months on. As the gets older she's interested in the truck too. She loves tipping up the bed of the truck and putting it back down, trying to figure it out. I trust both of these will be favorites for years to come! P.S. dada loved this toy first and baby girl loves playing cars with dada. 5He's 1 year old now and he plays with these everyday.My son absolutely loves green toys cars. My oldest saw this and wanted to give it to my youngest for Christmas. It's so cute and does not disappoint. This one is no exception.Consistent with the design aesthetic of the other Green Toys, the plastic is smooth, the form is simple, and the product is sturdy. This line is made of recycled plastic - a great environmental ethic from this company, which also includes its simple, recycled packaging - and it's a sturdy, solid plastic.There aren't a lot of different colors with these toys - this flatbed truck and race car are blue and red and gray and that's it! But that's part of their simple charm, too.No metal, so no worries about rusting if this gets left outside, or played with in the bath or sink. Really easy to clean, too.Over the last two years, we've bought most of the entire line of Green Toys (Amazon has some great sales) and have never been disappointed. These have become our go-to gift lately, too.I hope you found this helpful. Definitely recommend if you're considering this. 5Very sturdyA Christmas 2016 gift and my grandson is still enjoying it. Very sturdy construction. He has two cars and with one in each hand puts his weight on both cars as he pushes them around on the carpeted floor. Nothing broken. He says the truck is a dump truck, loads it with block and dumps them. 5great toyI purchased this, and many others, to donate to a local pre-k school for children with autism. They seem durable enough to withstand the rough play of the kids. It's just the right size, especially the car-carrier versions where they can play with one car on the truck. They also really like the school bus, because most of these kids ride a bus to school and can relate to this vehicle. The teachers tell me the kids really love these toys. And I like that they are using recycled materials. I may sound like an advertisement for Green Toys but I am not a part of that company in any way. I just think anyone that is making a quality products at a fair price and helping the environment deserves all the praise they can get. I highly recommend these toys to anyone with kids. If you don't have kids, buy them for toy drives, etc... 5Perfect for a 1 year old!This toy went to a baby who loves cars and loves opening and closing things. He absolutely loved driving the small race car around and flipping the bed of the truck up and down. Green Toys are sturdy, high quality toys that last for years. Good buy! 5Not the best of the Green ToysWe have a number of the Green Toys - the dump truck, tractor vehicle, fire truck and boat. In general we are impressed with the quality of the toys and of course the fact they are made in America from recycled materials. However, the race car on this set is less than impressive. The wheels don't spin well so on hard-surfaces the car spins out, and on the carpet it doesn't go very far. I would recommend some of their other toys rather than this one - the fire truck in particular rolls very well. 3
