Customer Reviews

Fun!Doodle Dice is a great game for the family to play together. I bought it to bring camping with my grandkids ages 5-7 and all three loved it. The game lends itself to everyone being part of the decision making, so that eliminates one of the worst parts of gaming for kids- waiting for your turn. Everyone is involved. Adults who enjoy puzzles and strategy games will enjoy it also. 5Fun for all ages! The first time I ever played this game was a few weeks ago. My sister brought it over and we played it. It didn t take long for me to get hooked! I was very happy to see that it is sold on here and for a very affordable price. It s a fun game for the whole family and it doesn t take hours to play. The directions are simple, so young children can play as well. This is a must have game. 5Fun and easy to play with all agesThis game is great! People of all ages can play - my 3 yo needs just a little guidance but the 5 yo and 7 yo can do it on their own. When I did children s therapy, I played this with my autistic clients aged 9 and 6. This game helps to develop fine motor skills, planning, and social skills. It packs up small if you want to travel with it - all the pieces would fit into a sandwich baggie. 5Fun for all agesI bought this for younger camp students to enjoy, but it turned out to be a hit for all ages! Even my high school students had a blast playing it.Quick rundown of the game:You roll the dice attempting to make patterns that match the cards. You are looking to collect one of each color, that vary in difficulty and number of dice doodles to complete. You get three rolls to attempt to make a pattern, otherwise your turn is over. 5Doodles are cute on the cards! When I ordered, I was hoping that they would send the version that had the English and other languages on the cards. However, I received the yellow box version which only has English. That s not a deal breaker, but if you look through the photos on this item, it clearly shows the other version. This game is easy to play. As others have noted, the purple cards are hardest to get. I would recommend trying to save the extra roll cards for those attempts in obtaining the purple cards (which require all 6 dice). 5great for all ageslove this game... great for families that have a variety of ages as it's easy enough for 7-8 year olds and yet fun enough for adults. Doesn't take long to finish a game. We sometimes play 2-3 games within 20-20 minutes. There is some strategy involved with the ability to steal a card that someone else has won... but it's not one of those games were players end up mad at each other as a result. It really is a fun game! Teaches younger kids pattern recognition and risk. 5Great family gameThis is a great family game. We have been playing it for a couple years and just bought one for my nieces for their birthday! 5Fun for all ages--really!This is a very good game that children and adults enjoy. We play it with our grandchildren, age 7, 9, and 10, and their parents. It challenges your eye for combinations, and the patterns on the cards are clever and cute. I agree with other reviewers that it can go on too long (like many games) and the players may need to agree on some revisions to the rules before they start playing. 5This is a fun game. I play it with my fun and ...This is a fun game. I play it with my fun and silly adult son over lunch and with my grandchildren. There is no language involved, so I take it to Honduras with me and play with children of all ages who don't share my language. In fact I left it there as a gift and am now buying another. No, doubt when I go again I'll have to get yet another. 5Great game for kidsMy 4 & 6 year old daughter like this game. The 4 year old is a bit young but learning. The 6 year old can figure out the pictures on her own. I enjoy playing this with them and watching them try and figure out how to put the dice into the picture options. In short, there are six dice. Each dice is the same, with 6 pictures on them. One side is a circle, one is a straight line, etc. There are also 6 types of cards...cards with one die, cards with two dice, etc. Each card combines the shapes of the dice into pictures. One card might show one circle and two curved lines coming out the sides to look like a bull. The goal is to roll the dice yahtzee style. Roll once, look at the cards available, keep the dice with pictures that resemble the cards, and roll the remaining dice again. Repeat once more so you have 3 total rolls to match one of the face up cards. If you can match the card, you keep it. Goal is to get one of each type of card to win the game (1 card with 1 die, 1 card with 2 dice, etc). For example: You roll, 4 straight lines and 2 curved lines on your 1st roll. You see the bull described above is face up. You choose to keep the two curved lines and roll the other 4 dice to try & get a circle. After your 2nd roll, the 4 dice don't show a circle so you roll them one more time. If a circle comes up, you take the bull card. If it doens't, then nothing happens and it's the next person's turn. 5
