    Durable and it works!While it's not doctor grade, it does work quite well. We all listen to each others hearts and lungs regularly. When my wife was pregnant, my daughter likes to listen to the baby move around. Be careful, it'll hurt your ears a bit if you tap on it while wearing it. Not damaging to your ears, just loud.It's lasted us quite a while, the diaphragm has a wrinkle in it but that's due to abuse. Its a toy and gets left on the floor sometimes etc.Great product. 5Not great for young kidsI bought this Stethoscope for my 4 year old who is 2 months shy from his 5th birthday. He has ear tubes in one of his ears and this Stethoscope was hurting his ears as the ear piece is hard plastic and not ergonomically designed. The sound is very faint and very difficult to hear heart beat. If you knock on the diaphragm then you can hear it, but not the heartbeat. I returned it as we did not want it to collect dust. 2Disappointing.Hurts my little ones' ears. The white tip that goes in your ear fell off the first time they played with it making it unusable. They just lost it in my room, but we can't find the small part. 2Real stethoscope and reasonable priceThey had career day at my son's elementary school and each child was allowed to dress in the job they want to have as an adult. My son wanted to be a doctor this year, so he needed a stethoscope. Decided to order this one because the price was reasonable and it had good reviews. It came fine just a few days later and it is a real stethoscope. It works very well and you can easily hear another's heart beating. Five stars so far! 5Like a real stethoscope! So great that you want to be sure to read warnings such as to not talk into the stethoscope when someone has it on because it really picks up noise and could cause serious hearing damage. Literally.Received this item today that I ordered for my grandaugter. The listening piece on the end was not attached. There is no way to attach it as it does not screw in and the metal piece seems too big for the hole. I superglued it in as far as I could get it to go so my granddaughter could at least try and use it. But it's not holding. Very annoying to receive a broken item. Even if it had not been broken, I am not at all impressed with the design of the listening piece and how it attaches to the rubber tube. I will be filing a complaint, which I have never done before. 1Broke almost immediately!I bought this for my 3 boys, ages 7, 5 & 2, to use alongside some books about the human heart and body in general. I hoped this would be a fun learning experience for them and would be something we could use for years to come. In actuality, it was minutes. The little white cloth piece and clear plastic piece that is used on the end of the stethoscope popped out when one of my kids poked it. I've tried to pop it back in several times but it won't stay in. Very disappointed and will now continue my search for another kids stethoscope. 1To loud for ears. most likely will cause hearing damageI gave this to my three year old for christmas, and the thing I was worried about came true... it's too loud for her ears. The tubing is long and dangles too low and bangs into stuff. I don't want her to damage her hearing....which they would! They are too loud for me!. If she plays with it, I tell her to just wear them around her neck and just pretend. I might try putting hot glue into the holes to muffle it and see if that helps, otherwise they're going in the garbage and she can use her plastic Melissa and Doug ones that came with her doctor outfit. 1Dont botherVery uncomfortable to put in ears and doesn't work at all. Plus the end kept falling off and eventually wouldnt even glue on again. And we had less than 6 mths 1yes i got this for me...yes i am an adult. so it's a weensy bit tight on me (surprised right. lol) but i didn't have the money on hand for the nearly $100 one that's out there and there are a few things i Needed something like this for. (won't bore you with details other than to say i have older cats and also some issues of my own i want to keep on top of)for what i paid, i got better than i honestly expected from a "kid's toy". sure it's not professional grade but i can hear what i need to pretty easy. i was able to tell one of my "girls" needed to go to the vet for a watery sound in her left lung with no trouble. (by the way, thank you to the seller for that... she's my oldest cat and it may have just saved her life!)now i will not tell you that this should be used Instead of a doctor visit or even a "real" stethoscope. but it's a good and useful product and works. not perfectly, but pretty good for what you pay. so yes, i say get this for your little ones. not only is it the perfect gift for your doctors/nurses-to-be but it will help make actual visits less scary for them as well having had some personal hands on experience with some of the tools they'll encounter. 5
