... but this was a gift for a child the like to unwrap boxes and see colors and pictures not ...ordered this for my daughter for christmas when i ordered it i saw it was displayed in a big box when i received it in the mail it was thrown in a fishnet with a piece of paper inside stating what it was / i understand to compact items for smaller shipment boxes but this was a gift for a child the like to unwrap boxes and see colors and pictures not a fishnet with items thrown in it that they are unsure what they even are. 2Good value, solid qualityMy wife and I bought this set of play food for our 20 month old son to use in his play kitchen. Many of the other sets either had way too many pieces, or were made of wood (which is nice for durability, but we'd rather not have him throwing wooden toys around). This set struck a nice balance on what it contained. It has enough food items to provide a good selection (pizza, muffin, ice cream, etc), and also has some pans and utensils so he can imitate mommy and daddy when they cook. The only problem I had is that the french fry box, which is cardboard, was smooshed when I opened the package. That's such a minor issue though that I wasn't concerned about it. Overall, this is an excellent product, with good quality and a solid number of pieces for the price. Would buy again. 5Lil one happy...momma not so muchThis was bought as accessories to the kitchen my lil one got as a gift. She loves it, and for the most part I'm pleased, but I couldn't give it 5 stars because the "slice of cake" is discolored (see picture) and I'd be happier if the set came with drinks other than milk, but despite that, I would recommend this set. 4Not the greatest qualityFor the money it's a pretty decent set. The food is pretty cheap int eh details though. the meatballs and sauce for the spaghetti was almost unrecognizable. The velcro on the ice cream is starting to come off as well. The box for the fries is just really light cardboard and will not last. A lot of the other pieces seem like they will last and be useful for a long time though. Overall it's still an OK deal since it is so cheap, but not really anything to write home about. 3Missing piecePieces are smaller than expected and it was missing the bottom half of the hamburger bun. I emailed seller about sending me one so we shall see. You can't serve a burger with half a bun! ;) Also the French fry container is cardboard and it was all smashed. The hotdog is VERY small and the bun is slippery. I plan on super gluing it to the bun. 3Cheap Quality But Enjoyable For a ToddlerMy toddler niece seems to enjoy this set, especially the pizza. This is not a high quality toy set, but it's good enough for a toddler who enjoys playing with different things. Everything is made of light weight plastic. I bought this set since it includes not just food but other utensils as well.Pros: Lots of variety in food choices, including grill pan and utensilsCons: Fries container is made out of cardboard, easy to rip apart. Pie was not well painted, some parts were not colored. Choco chip cookie did not have the choco chips colored in (the cookie was 1 shade of brown). 3This pack comes with a nice variety of foodsThis pack comes with a nice variety of foods, but they aren't as pictured. Many are made from poor quality plastic and/or are much smaller than expected. A lot of these foods also come apart into several pieces (also not expected) and do not have velcro or anything to hold them together. I ordered a different package of foods for less (only $10 versus $15 here) and they're much better quality, and all have velcro so my son can easily put them together (and keep them together) himself. If he hadn't already torn open this package, I would be returning this. 25 ........almost.My 2 yr old granddaughter loves these! We got her a great new play kitchen for her birthday, but it did not come with very many food items. Several items, and each are foods she s familiar with...especially the French fries. This would have been 4 1/2 stars above if it were possible and if the French fry box didn t come apart so easily, it would have been 5 . 4Plastic and unrealistic but that's why you're buying these!Cheap, plastic kitchen toys that do the job. My son has been enjoying these and does not notice that these are cheap plastic kitchen toys. They definitely look very fake, but they're kids toys! He likes the multiple ice cream cones/bowls and that he can mix and match. Each cone/cup has velcro as do the multiple flavors of ice cream so he can choose which goes with it. The utensils are very unrealistic looking and look like toys. If you don't mind the fake plastic look then these are great and an inexpensive option. There were so many kids food toy options we randomly chose this one. I would likely buy again if I didn't want to spend a lot. 3Dirty, mismatched and odd.There are a few good pieces but mostly not worth the money. The pieces are disproportionate in size in relation to each other. The colors on some pieces are really off i.e. green hamburger buns. There's random dinnerware, forks, spoons - not a set, all mismatched. Ok to play with but you have to go through and sterilize each toy. They come dusty and some have dark gashes and dirt. Threw out a few instead of dealing with cleaning them cause they were so bad. 2
