    She wants to be like mommy.Yes, it seems cheaply made, however, I knew that going in. I was looking for a play makeup kit for my daughter (5 years old). She wants to be like mommy...and this does the trick. She loves it and that is all I care about. The makeup doesn't stain, the polish goes on and comes right off without stain...it is exactly what I needed. My granddaughter, age 7, always wants to "see" my cell phone. By the time I get it back, I have a few new apps on it, but none for me. One day, she whispered to me that she wanted some make-up for a little girl like her. Well, you can imagine my DELIGHT when I came across the Petite Girls Cell Phone Shaped Cosmetics kit on Amazon. I satisfied two wishes of my granddaughter in one gift ... and it's bedazzled! She enjoys hours of fun! Thank you for this creative idea/product. 5Love the makeup set!I got this set for my 2 1/2 year old daughter. She loves makeup and loves to play with my makeup but that was not going to work for too long ;)She absolutely loved it and has been playing with it since day one! She even loves to put makeup on her daddy and dogs!So this set is not super pigmentated, the lip gloss are not sticky but they are oily and all of them have sparkles.The eyeshadows don t have much color to it and you can t barely see. Which I like it and she doesn t notice it really.The nail polish was very thick but still works. Everything is very cute and perfect for toddlers.I definitely recommend it. Makes a great gift! 5Perfect for a little DivaThis is perfect for a toddler who likes to play with makeup. It keeps the makeup and accessories very well organized. I have gotten my daughter other makeup sets and she never kept them organized. This is not for a preteen, teen, or adult because the makeup is really light. You don't even notice it. But it does have a lot of glitter. The case is plastic and can probably break very easily. But overall, it provides exactly what my 4 year old was looking for. I think this makeup set is great for 3-4 year olds. 5Very cheaply madeMy Granddaughter loves this, but it is very cheaply made. I bought a make up set from a local dollar store that was a bit flimsy and cheaply made, so i thought this would be better with its much higher than a dollar price. Well it about the same quality as the one I only spent a dollar on. The star layers swivel around and are so cheap that they sag down. The make up inserts are very cheap plastic that cracks on the first use. The bottom layer with the lipstick and nail polish is the worst. You can't get the items out without cracking and tearing the plastic. Again, my Granddaughter does love this, so i have to give it a few stars. On quality I would give it zero stars. 3Future make up artist..So my 6 yr old daughter had makeup on her list for Christmas. She is always getting into mine so after looking through lots and lots of makeup cases for kids we came upon this one.. or rather kept going back to it. She loved it when she opened it for Christmas. It was everything she wanted. My only complaint and the four stars is that the case does not stay closed very well. It needs a latch of some sort. Also the brushes are easy to get out. She would continuously run to me for help. The colors are light and not gaudy. They apply nicely and there are no funny odors. Over all I like the product.. or more importantly my daughter loves it! 4Sweet but very flimsyThis is a cute gift for a little girl. The make-up is very light, so it is appropriate for a 5 yr old like my daughter. She loves this make-up kit, and it is her favorite gift from our Christmas.I will say that the case is very flimsy plastic and breaks easily, so it really is not up to the rough use that some toys are subjected to in houses where there are toddlers. Ours broke the day that it was opened - fortunately, the make-up is still usable and my girl wasn't too upset about it. 3The powder makeup was good but the sparkly ones seem to be oily and ...Got 2 of these for my girls. The powder makeup was good but the sparkly ones seem to be oily and messy. I had a hard time removing it from their faces. The sparkly one didn't work as I expected it to. There is such a thing as sparkly powder and would probably look into that more. But for the price, it was okay although I think the price should be a little lower. I did like the fact that it was non toxic as per their claim. The nail polish was good and peeled off quite easily.....didn't last at all. But I was ok with that. I really liked the casing. That was fun and easy to store. When you open it to put the makeup on, it does lean over due to unbalanced weight.What I did not like at all was the blush brush. The bristles are way too stiff for putting on blush. The eye make up tool didn't last long with the sparkly make up. Disappointed with that. And there were no suggestions on what to use where. Not sure if the sparkly stuff was for eyes or lips. I assumed the eyes. Very difficult to put on and to remove from the face. not sure if I was suppose to mix the sparkly make up before putting it on? It was like a sparkly layer and then another plain layer below it. See pictures included.So all in all, it was an okay product. Nevertheless, I would not purchase it again. Good one time use. And it arrived on time for Christmas. 3Hit and missThe first set we got were amazing. In perfect condition. We handed then out in gift bags at my daughter's birthday party. My cousin asked me to get some for her daughter's party they were such a hot. But, sadly, the second package that arrived had lots of issues. There were entire sections of makeup missing, one had a missing applicator, and a few with makeup pads just floating in the package. She was so disappointed and we returned them. So, 5 stars for my kid's order, 1 star for my cousin's order, 3 overall. 3Regret...This little makeup kit looked great at first, but...1. The packaging is way overboard for the product itself, very wasteful and inconvenient.2. The amount of actual makeup that you get is very small. Most of it is gone within a few sittings, at best.3. The case is fragile and cumbersome. It seems like everything is on the verge of breaking from moment one. Most items are very difficult to remove.4. Very frustrating overall for children and parents alike.5. :( 1
