Buyer beware!I should have listened to the negative reviews of this product. I took a chance with my tongue to the positive reviews and it backfired on me. Less than an hour after the five year old started playing with these the wheel on the cement mixer broke off and the hitch on the back of the dump truck broke off. He was so disappointed that part of his birthday present at broken. As he patiently waited for the super glue to dry while playing with the other toys in the set a wheel came off the excavator and the hitch piece on the trailer with the rocks broke off. These toys are extremely cheaply made Dollar Tree toys are made far better than this as they do not break in less than an hour of being played with. 1Skip it.I had high expectations for these trucks, but was immediately disappointed. The plastic is brittle and weak. Right away the hitches broke off of two of the trucks, making the trailers useless. Then the chassis of one of the trucks snapped. Spend a little extra money and buy a better constructed toy for your kids. 24-year-olds destroy stuffThey look good in the box. i like the ability of the pieces to articulate, rather than being fixed. Although the moving parts may be a weak point. Don't know, yet. Going to the beach, with the Grandson. If they last past the 3-day weekend, i'll be impressed. I didn't expect a lot when they were ordered. Smaller size. Easy to pack with all the other beach support gear. If he enjoys them for more than 2 days, it was worth the minimum cost. No where near equivalent to the Tonka Trucks of my youth, but, nothing is like the Tonka Trucks of my youth.Less than 15 bucks. What the heck? 5These are really cute but are of horrible quality. They are really lightweight and flimsy. My son is very gentle with his toys so luckily nothing but the hitches has broken so far. I know it is only a matter of time though. I would have given them one star but my son REALLY likes them. So two stars they get. 2Kids Love them.Got them as a gift for my 3 year old, he is really into construction equipment. We threw a construction party and everything, they were perfect. He immediately wanted to open and play with them. Even my 10 year old got in on the action. They are well made and super adorable. They like the fact the trailers can come apart and be changed to the other vehicles. 5Flimsy hitch and plasticVery cute trucks, but it broke within 30 seconds of use. All he did was pick it up and it broke and the secound one broke when he tried to remove the pull behind, because it was stuck together very well. Poor product overall. He was so excited when he saw them and wanted to play with them immediately. He picked up the first set and started to unhook the trailer from the truck - the hitch immediately broke off. He picked up the dump truck and tried the same thing - the hitch immediately broke off again. Then he started to lift the bed of the dump truck - and it immediately broke off completely! I was amazed at how cheaply this was built for being labeled "3+ years". 1Poor qualityThe toys themselves are awesome looking, but cheaply made. Each one of the vehicles has broken in some way, shape or form from my son playing with them. He drives them around like trucks and the plastics just break. I've had to super-glue all of them at least once so far. The connector which holds the tow portion on is very breakable. It's held up better with super-glue on them all(since they all broke).Overall, I wouldn't even buy these particular ones again simply because they're poor quality. 3probably not worth the money but ?The detail is nice, but the quality is poor, and if I had held one in my hand I would not have bought them at half the price. Before I even handed him the cement truck pulling the dirt trailer, the trailer broke off from the truck. It was held on by a thin piece of plastic that did not survive the trip in the car out of the box even though it was sitting safely on the top of a bag. Luckily, my grandson still enjoyed playing with it and even figured out that he could remove and replace the cement drum (a few more times taking that off/on and the attachment will probably break too). Looking at the other two trucks the hitches look the same and suspect they will not hold up to inspecting let alone play. Three stars instead of two because as a grammie, as long as the grandson is happy, the day is good. 3
