    Great customer service, despite product problems** Edited review**Upon receiving a personal reach out in my email from the owner of the company (Don) after my order was placed, I emailed him with my issues and he went above and beyond my expectations for making things right. Initially gave 2 stars due to product quality but have updated to 5 stars because of the service I received from them due to a faulty product. So good to know that someone still values the consumer more than the dollar. While I will not order this item again, I will definitely be happy to order from and work with this company again due to their amazing service quality.**Original review**While I wasn't expecting a high quality product, I was at least expecting something a little more sturdy and better built for the cost. The trigger had already been pulled while in the package and the gun won't reset, rendering it essentially broken on arrival. Had I known the product quality was of a dollar store item I would have saved my money and skipper getting it as a prop, especially dice I didn't even get to pull the trigger on it myself. 5Disappointing- very cheaply made... you get what you pay for in Bang! guns these days...This prop was really, really cheap... received broken (the sectional tin rod that holds the red banner was already crushed when it was delivered) but the item was so cheap it wasn't worth returning. Not the good quality Bang! prop gun we all wished we had when we were kids,.... this one is single use at best and was disappointing. 1Bang - there goes 5 bucksThis gun is not worth your money. Sure it's only $5 and yes, I know, it's a toy.. But here's the thing, this toy was falling apart before I got it, the spring flew off on the first use hitting my dog in the rear and the plastic handle separated after maybe 6-7 "trigger pulls". Speaking of the trigger, it's little more than a bent metal strip. Absolute and utter trashAre you using this for a Harley Quinn costume? It'll work - but you'll be stomping on the thing, or placing it behind your car tire by the end of the night.Are you planning on making a joke with your friends? Careful, they'll think you're a bit dull for pointing a piece of bent aluminum at them, to which you'll respond with a "HAHA" and a pull of the 'trigger' causing a poorly designed part to crack and launch some obscure tiny object through the air and into your friends eye. Caught between panic and vindication, your heart rate will rise as you struggle to balance your emotions. "Dang, I should've listened to that guy on amazon" will repeat in your mind as sweat begins to form at your temples. Your friend is writhing in pain now and you're stuck contemplating life, "How did it get to this?" I'll tell you how, you bought this defunct BANG gun. 1You get what you pay forIt works perfect for what I bought it for... Not sure if I'd like it beyond that.If you're like me and have never seen one in person these work by one side of the barrel flipping around from the tip to unfold the flag (so it's only half a tube after you pull the trigger). It doesn't look terrible... The flag has a crease from being folded in half then rolled and the handle a TINY... The whole thing is cheap plastic, but you get what you pay for.I used this for a Joker Christmas tree... It looks great for that purpose and I think was worth the cost I paid for it. 4Very cheaply made, not fuctionalThe first time the pistol was fired the flag shot out. Actually ,"shot" out since the flag is held in place by two dabs from a hot glue gun which spans a fordable barrel. So the flag was not attached.Assuming the flag was attached you need to roll the flag up and then fold the barrel over to close it . The "Trigger is part of a latch which keeps the barrel closed. I could barely get it to close and stay in place without a flag inside.This is not something you could actually use as part of a costume since it is very unstable.Overall a very poor quality product 1Not that great.This was a cheap prop I bought to go with my costume for an event. It's a niffy toy but worth no more than like $2 max (I consider the price fair-ish if you factor in shipping cost I suppose and novelty product factor). It's flimsy and the lever that holds the barrel together comes open easily. Also, the flag takes about a minute to bunch up well enough to stuff back inside the gun so you can close the lever and keep it inside until you want to shoot it off. Overall, it was a bit of a waste as I ended up not using it much and the lever kept popping open and making the flag spill out. It works for a one off surprise joke and clearly will not fool anyone into thinking it's an actual gun. Since the flag pops out it makes storage a hassle. Skip this unless you feel like reloading the flag inside the metal casing and being careful about not bumping the trigger (lever) open multiple times. 3Good News and Bad News...So, in a world where anything looking like a real gun is viewed as evil -- This gun could never be confused as real. It does what it is supposed to do in a minimal, cheap way. The gimmick "BANG" flag is visually great. The construction used cheap metal split barrel joined by a spring. The trigger is a very basic external metal release. The handle is simply there to mount the other parts on. The flag is perfect but is barely held on with two small dots of hot glue that has to be re-attached after about a dozen or so openings. Not sturdy for costume use without serious reconstruction... 1SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! BUY SOMETHING ELSE!Okay, so I don't expect cheap Halloween props to last forever, but this one was already falling apart before I even opened the package! It's smaller than I expected. (See the pic, there is a lighter in the pic for scale.) I bought this to go with my daughter's Halloween costume, but I doubt it will even last an hour, lol! It is even more cheaply made than you would expect an "average" cheap prop to be and it looks so lame. It was a Prime item, so I assumed I'd be able to return it, but apparently this item is not returnable:( Glad it was $3.88 when I bought it, instead of the $5 they're charging now, saved a few cents, lol ....Save your money, go to a Halloween store or something, you can probably find a prop there that's much more worth your $5, lol! 1Not worth itThis thing is so cheap. We bought it to go with a Joker cosplay costume for a local ComicCon. Anyone who has ever seen any of the older Batman comics, tv show, or even Jack Nicholson's Joker portrayal will recognize the need for this particular "bang" gun. It's almost a requirement for the outrag outfit, right?It's too bad this one is so lame. You'd think for the price I paid for it I could get a decent item. This one clearly belongs in a dollar store. Every single time we pull the trigger, the barrel falls to the ground. Every. Single. Time.The "bang" flag needs to be manually rolled up and reclosed into the gun. (After you pick it up off the floor, that is.) It looks cute and fits the part, but it's way too cheap and flimsy to be worth the trouble. 2Ok for one time costume use. Not a toyOk for a couple uses. Flimsy plastic item. No bang, flag just drops. Folds up easily back into the barrel pieces- barrel splits to drop flag. Gun is quite small, flag is smaller yet-about 4". Not impressive. Almost unnoticeable-unless looking right at it when it drops. Not good for "toy use" but ok for looks to complete a costume. 3
