    IT'S GREAT!!!!!!! "GET THE BABY OUT THE WAY"!!!!!This spinner is "Awesome". My daughter takes ice skating basic level 5 student. I could not afford to pay for classes more than once a week so I began to look for off-ice alternative training methods. So, my friend and ice skating mom tried the paper spinner that covers one foot. Her daughter is already great on ice and multiple sports. That being said, her daughter (s) never used it more than a few times, its collecting dust. What child, in this case kids don't like to spin? Sooooo, being that I don't have money to throw away, I read up on reviews about this "Metal Spinner". My child LOVES It. That's right I'm screaming in joy! I love it so much that I thought I was eight years old again and gave it a twirl. My brain could not keep up so I opted out of making it a habit.I want to mention, please remove all surrounding furniture etc. This thing can spin very...very..did I mention very...fast!! Quick story....My child improved so fast, I'd say two weeks we were getting comments from other moms and coaches. I've since told them all about this spinner. Worth every penny. Final warning..... "Proceed With Caution" due to the speed. and "Move your tables, loose shoes on the floor, oh and the children, move the children...don't forget the baby....Get the baby out of the way!!!! its that fast! It works better than I could have imagined. My daughter looks beautiful on ice. I'm sure your kids will too. : D 5AWESOME!!We LOVE this spinner!! The spin is so~ smooth and the size is perfect!Some customers are saying this spinner is too small but I think it is a perfect size. It does not get in the way and you can store away almost anywhere. 5A Must buy for Beginning SpinsExcellent spinner that does not move. I think its meant more for kids rather than adult feet, or perhaps adults with very small feet. My skater just started learning spins and this helped to move my beginning skater from a two foot spin to a one foot spin on the ice in a matter of weeks. 5Good - but start slow, as it spins easily and requires centered/balanced to stay on.Requires precise balance and centering to have multiple (8+) rotation spins. Consider using in conjunction with other spin boards (like ballet boards or Edea spin board) to improve spins and balance/centering. 4Great Tool for Figure SkatingMy little figure skater loves this spinner. Takes it to the rink and just spins her little heart out. I did spray paint a stencil on one of the black pads. This way she can identify it as hers and it will not get up and walk away. Fantastic! Would buy again 5Love this productLove this product. I use it every other day when not skating (3 days week). Able to do back scratch, back sit, illusions, back camel. Want to eventually get back combo spins with them. Also was able to do a forward scratch and camel. Still figuring out the balance and entry for the sit spin. Able to do a layback. 5Best spin product!!I ordered this for my 13-year-old daughter for off ice spin practice, it works really well. Especially, it helps her spin without travel which is a lot harder but a critical skills to develop senior spinning skills, also comes with the side benefit of ridding my floor from any scratch :-). I am also amazed by its small size, my daughter can easiely fit it in her suitcase when travel to competitions, she can still practice at bed time. Love it!!! 5Adult Skater: Great for off-ice practiceI bought this little spinner on whim, desperate to find something that would help me with my back spin. I have the beginner "open hip" problem and this device really helps with drilling that muscle memory in keeping the hip closed and leg tight. Another bonus is that the spinner helps me find my center of balance. On the ice, I find it difficult to find that perfect positioning on my rocker for a smooth spin (I tend to dig my heel into the ice). This helps with finding that balance because if you aren't you will fall off the spinner. I've placed this in the middle of my living room floor so whenever I'm bored I just get off the couch and go for a little spin. Note: When you first try out the spinner it will seem impossible (if you're a beginner) but like with everything, the more you practice and become comfortable, the better you get!This is probably an obvious statement but definitely use this in an open area. I forgot to move my coffee table out the way one night and tried to save a spin and got off balance...I nearly knocked everything off the table, including my beloved pumpkin spice yankee candle. You've been warned! ;) 5My 6 yr old loves this! She is spinning ...My 6 yr old loves this! She is spinning all of the time on the linoleum and now can spin on the carpet (when she's not on the ice!). There were no instructions as mentioned in other reviews; but all you need to do is take it out of the plastic and put it on the floor! 5Excellent off-ice training toolThis spinner is really nice in that, because it has its own base, it can be used on any type of surface, including on rugs. While one still has to be careful when using this training device, I have found this design to be far safer than the plastic spinners that are roughly the width and length of one's foot. While the metal material does make it heavier than other spinner designs, it is still perfectly portable; I frequently carry mine with me when traveling . As a former competitive skater who is getting back into figure skating, the spinner has been quite helpful, especially in terms of finding my center of balance, which has improved my spinning and jumping technique. 5
