Customer Reviews

You need this!I absolutely love this thing! So glad I went ahead and got the 9inch instead of the smaller one. I am able to press just about any type of flower you can think of, even roses are a piece of cake! I ve been buying bouquets during every trip to the supermarket because I love trying the different kinds of flowers. My diy ideas and crafts have been taken to a whole new level. The flowers retain vibrant colors and the end results are beautiful as long as you follow the directions. I m kicking myself for not buying this sooner. I honestly hesitated because of the price, but now that I ve made the commitment I m realizing it s worth so much more! Highly recommend! 5Time saver with great resultsI ve been pressing flowers with herbarium presses for year and this little gadget is honestly the coolest thing out there! Preserves the colors very well and doesn t muddle the colors too much! 5Good quality and easy to useI used this to press roses my boyfriend got me for our first Valentine's Day together. It was perfect because I travel for work and didn't have time to do the standard press method (aka. smashed in a book or wooden flower press). The roses were kind of dried out so I put a glass of water in with them for the first 30 seconds. They came out perfect! It was worth spending a little extra money to have something that is easy and quick to use. Depending on the type of flowers they can be done usually in under a minute. 5Great Product for Preserving FlowersThe Microfleur 9" is a great product that saves a lot time drying flowers. The only concern I had was whether it would work in my microwave. Since the diagonal measurement of a 9" square is 12.73" and my microwave's depth was only 13 1/2", I was concerned about whether it would fit into the microwave. Fortunately, the Microfleur has rounded edges and fit well into my microwave. 5Great flowerpress for a beginner!I had never pressed flowers before and this microwave flowerpress made my flower pressing project pretty easy. My father recently passed away and I wanted to save some of the roses from his graveside service. Roses are a bit of a challenge since they are so thick so I read a lot of advice before beginning the project and I watched a couple of youtube videos. This one was my favorite: (...) It's short and very informative. If you're pressing a flower that's thick, like a rose, then I found the best thing to do is to basically take all the petals off and then "reconstruct" a thin rose in your fingertips with just a handful of petals. Also, follow the instructions and only microwave the specimens for short periods of time. For me, the flowers I used were important (from my dad's graveside service) so I didn't want to risk the chance of burning them. I was probably way more conservative than necessary but I microwaved in really short bursts of 20-30 seconds. I also allowed the flowers to air out in between zaps and stretched the process out over a few days. I was really happy with the results and now just need to figure out what I'm going to do with all the pretty pressed roses I made! 5Fun! Sturdy! Easy to use! What FUN!!!! Very sturdy construction, incredibly easy to use, practically instant results! This sure beats waiting for weeks on end for a few flowers to dry only for them to turn moldy in the meantime. This unit is as close to instant gratification as you can get, next summer is going to be a gold mine! 5Great for crafting!I had one of these ages ago, but lost it during various moves. I really love pressing flowers, and this is probably the most effective method for doing it. It does take a bit of practice to determine what cook time to use it for different types of flowers because of thickness, etc. Well worth the money once you get the hang of it! 5So easy! Works great!!I love this press! This is my first time using a flower press of any type (other than pressing flowers between pages in a book) and this press is fantastic. I picked flowers, placed them in the press, and about 5 minutes later (heating intervals of 10 and 20 seconds, with 10-20 second rest periods in between) I have paper-like flowers ready to be set in resin!!!My pink flowers turned a deep purple, but still beautiful. 5Perhaps its because of the succulent like leaves which i recommend pressing the old fashion way ...I had a class project that required the pressing of lawn weeds. It took several weeks for the weeds to dry in a traditional flower press. Using my traditional flower press, somehow the weeds were moldy not dry, by the time I got back from vacation. The project (to have 10 weeds dry pressed) was due that Monday! So, i technically had a week to do this. What an emergency! I ordered the Microfleur thinking this would not work, but I had to try. I got the next day delivery. I got an A on my project :) Take duplicates of what you want to press and try it out. I did all lawn weeds and the only ones that did not meet my expectations were Purslane. Perhaps its because of the succulent like leaves which i recommend pressing the old fashion way until you become a master at this. I am not disappointed in this product. I am sure i will need it in the future. The i cringed ta the price, but i needed my A! 5One Starhard to use, frustrating 1
