    Great quality sturdy bridge!This bridge is great! I hate the other ones we have because you need blocks to hold it up. But this one stands alone. It's really sturdy (we found that out when our 10 year old decided to stand on top of it for some reason) it fits all the other wooden tracks we have thomas and store brand and works with the track connectors. 5ARRIVED (*poorly*) MENDED!I wanted to give this five stars. After reading about too many bridges that fall apart and frustrate children, I was happy to find what looks like an excellent and stable design. The multiple 'tunnel' passages under the bridge allow for a lot of creativity in designing fun layouts. It comes in three pieces, which are simple enough for a two year old to put together.The bridge in the photo shows multiple colors on the side, but the bridge we received has only green on it. This is not a problem - I actually like it better. Some complained that the trains don't fit underneath, but our Thomas engine fit fine. (I have seen a taller version of the Thomas engine, so I suspect that is the problem in those reviews).I bought the original pieces for our set from a local used toy shop, so I'm not very particular about absolute perfection. This bridge was a special piece which seemed a worthy splurge as a 'new' item for our set, even though the $20 price tag seemed a bit steep. For that price, I would certainly expect a quality item in NEW condition.Unfortunately, it arrived looking like something the local used store would have rejected, or thrown into a bargain bin. Not only was there a huge fracture that ran lengthwise through most of one of the pieces, but a substantial chunk of wood had been broken off, and had been sloppily glued back on. If lifted to the light, the light shines through, and even with the hardened glue on the pieces, when you squeeze them, they flex. (See photos, showing the gap, which narrows when squeezed). The glue has also darkened the wood so that it doesn't look very nice. This is not going to last with even moderate use. Sure, I suppose we can try gluing it again, but this is ridiculous.Having something accidentally slip through a quality control inspection process might be understandable, but making shoddy repairs on a broken toy and sending it out as new is - well. I'm at a loss for words.The package was opened in the evening near firelight, and the mending was not noticed until the next day, at which point the packing materials had been disposed of. Returning this would be a hassle, and a sad participation in a shoddy enterprise, as they would likely just send it out again to one of you who are considering buying this.If this company has any integrity at all, they will send a replacement and an apology. Hopefully they will learn from this and improve their business practices to restore consumer confidence. I will give an update on their response.Photos: 1. Closeup of piece that was broken off. 2. The tunnels look like they were cut with a steak knife and are completely shredded. 1Fun & DurableOur grandsons love this bridge. It looks like a bridge in Pennsylvania, south of Harrisburg which they boys see often. It links easily to Brio tracks. It does not tip over easily like some other bridges. They love to run their train over & under this bridge! 5Fits All wooden rail sets that we are using as well as the trains.This was a present for my four-year-old son. He is an avid train lover and we were looking for simple things to expand onto his current train set. I love the wood rails since they are sturdy. He throws them and stomps them all the time and it hasn't even dented. He loves to heavily play on them with his many trains of all shapes and sizes. He also pretends there are earthquakes and pushes them right off the tables.The designs are nice and look just like vines. This bridge can be combined with any of his wooden tracks. There are a couple of brands that we use and it fits them all. All of his trains fit underneath as well ver easily.Great product and I recommend this for all wooden railways. 5Pieces don't match up.Pieces do not match up. Based on the reviews I must be very unlucky as the bridge set I received does not match up. The right piece of the arch is about a quarter inch short. It's difficult to imagine how this could be so 'off' as to render it unusable. So much for quality control. Makes matters worse that order was placed in the USA but it was transported with a friend to my current location abroad and a return and exchange is all but impossible now. 1Perfect addition to any train setThis is a perfect addition to any existing train set, it adds some excitement to any child's train track play and allows for an easy bridge set up with out having to worry about wobbly supports that fall down and cause disappointment.This bridge/viaduct consists of three pieces, 2 up/down ramps and a center piece. The system is very stable and trains can go over it all day long. If you are looking for a bridge, this would be the one to get. The bridge is neatly painted on both sides, and comes in two different patterns, brown brick with a green vine or one that is grey and yellow brick with green vines.Thomas Trains can fit underneath the 4 central arches on train tracks with ease, the outer two arches are a little shorter and we could not get trains under them, but they are great for low profile match box type cars. 5Nice large bridge that fits with other brand tracksIt's a nice bridge/overpass system that my kids enjoyed incorporating into their current hodgepodge collection of wooden train tracks. Item arrived in good condition, no issues, and has held up well. The wood is lighter-weight than I was hoping, but so far so good, otherwise everything was as expected. I recommend this item. 5Cool piece for play and lay-outs.A really well-made, highly attractive piece, which lends itself to all kinds of creative layouts. The inclined "approach" pieces link up surprisingly firmly and do not detach even when clumsy, little fingers push a train up and over them. Do be aware that the archways may not be quite high enough to accommodate all trains when track is laid through them, but that is the only complaint and it is relatively minor (just tell the kid - "big trains have to go around, so have 'Thomas' pull their cars through for them, 'cause that's why you have 'tank engines'..." and he/she will be satisfied). 5this bridge is a wonderful addition to his wooden train set and the best ...My 2.5 year old son LOVES this bridge. He has wooden tracks and a bridge that came with the set, but while he's playing he always seems to knock it down and that really frustrates him since he's 2! Lol. Anyway, this bridge is a wonderful addition to his wooden train set and the best part is that it doesn't fall over when he bumps into it like the other one! It's strong and sturdy and can withstand toddlers! Now he can play trains without the frustration. Happy boy, happy Mama! 5
