    Bright, colorful foam magnets for learning and for playingThese magnets are part decoration, part education and part toy. My 10-month-old son is far too young to understand the letters, but loves them nonetheless. He always reaches for them when we pass the fridge. He loves to play with them too. We fully expected to start taking them away from him when he got upper and lower teeth, because we were afraid he'd chew bits of foam off of them, but that hasn't happened yet. They are pretty sturdy! We'll be putting these to good use for a very long time. 5Great magnetsThe magnets are awesome. They don't slide down, and after 11 months we haven't had a single one fall out. My only complaints is the lower case letters aren't safe for any tot still putting stuff in their mouths. They're too small, and could be swallowed. I've hidden the lower case letters for now until my child is no longer 'mouthing' her toys. Aside from that, great magnetic letters. 4Great value for magnet letters & Good quality constructionThey are well made and come with multiples of each letter in upper and lower case. Can't seem to understand why some of the name brands only include 1/2 sets of letters (can't spell more than simple words). The best part though is the magnet which is secure and covers the enter back. Did not want the magnets to be just small squares that could easily come off and be swallowed by our child (one of the scariest thoughts for a parent).They stick well to the fridge and a separate magnet board too. Haven't experience any defects yet and we've had them for a few months now. Good quality and good value - perfect for engaging your kids in some fun and interactive play. 5Best Magnet LettersLove these! I have a two year old that I am trying to teach letters. I love that the magnets are the full length of the letter. I love that the dots above the lower case letters are built in. I also love that you can match the upper and lower case letters colors so it is to associate them together. One downside is with them being foam and my two year old still puts stuff in his mouth, I could see them losing durability. This has nothing to do with the actual product. 5The BEST magnetic letters out thereThese are the best magnetic letters I've found.Pros: Strong magnets, they won't slide down the fridge like the the plastic letters with the tiny magnets. The entire back surface of each letter is magnetic. My 3 and 6 y/o boys love them. They like the foam texture, nice and light. Substantial size and nice bright colors, helpful that all the vowels are red. Great selection of letters, enough for playing and for many different spelling games.Con: The foam does get dingy fairly quickly, creased and dirty. But they're still the best ones I've come across. The surface paper of the wooden ones always peels and I've never found plastic ones with strong enough magnets. 5Fantastic, Crisp, Well-Formed Letters! Perfect SizeThese letters are really fantastic. The size is perfect. After reading other reviews, I almost didn't order them for fear they would be too tiny. I wouldn't even classify them as small. They are just right. Nice quality, strong magnets, well-formed letters, visually pleasing colors. I like how all of the vowels are red. Nice touch.It's also great that there are so many letters. When looking for a set, I really just wanted one of each letter. Now that we have a whole bucket, I would definitely recommend this volume. My little daughter enjoys trying to find matches on the refrigerator. I think this causes her to look even harder at the shapes of each. It's also nice to be able to spell out her name and other words--something you could not do with a 26-piece set. As she gets older, I could see using them for a "word of the day" experience or to spell out how we are feeling, etc.My only complaint would be the smell that we all get tired of having to deal with from manufactured toys coming from China. I soaked the letters and the container in straight vinegar for more than a day. It seemed to do the trick, but the smell is equally as strong after storing them back in the container for awhile. 5Skip Melissa and Doug and get these....These are durable, dense foam letters- uppercase AND lowercase. You get two complete sets of each with some extras of the most used letters. The capitals are about 1.75 inches high, but the lowercase are smaller. I felt comfortable with my 20 mo old playing with the uppercase, but not with the lowercase. They are only an inch high. I took off one star for this because the size of the lowercase was not given and it should have been. The laminated magnet coating covers the entire backside which is WONDERFUL. No small magnet pieces to choke on and they stay on well and don't slide. A MUCH better value than M&D because you can actually spell anything you want with these. Lots of letters! And if you get them wet, so what!!!! Just dry them off. The M&D wooden letters are coated with paper and they are ruined if you get them wet! Smethport makes a foam magnet set of object and animals too- 60 to the set!!These are a great accessory to the letters and they are all large enough for my toddler to grasp easily. If they would make all of these letters about 2-2.5 inches high, they would fill a niche market that no one else has met and would sell a ton of them on Amazon!! 4GREAT PURCHASELove these! Came in so quickly! Got them for my 2 year old and they are a great size. Very colorful, nice and soft, and the magnet sticks to the fridge very well! 5The best letters, just don't draw on them :)I chose these letters very carefully. I examined the font of all the letter sets I was looking at, and I like how these look like the letters that kids actually learn to write (no curves on the lowercase t, for example). These letters stick on our whiteboard very well, and are a nice size and cute colors. I like that all the vowels are red.My son also colors on our whiteboard with dry erase markers (very washable ink), and he has gotten some marks on these letters that turned out to be impossible to remove. The foam just won't give up any stains. Be sure to keep these away from your kids' craft space if you want them to stay looking nice. 5This is the product you want!This is definitely the one you want if you are looking for magnetic letters.They are of excellent quantity, quality and size. The magnet is cut to the entire shape of the letters, therefore they stick perfectly to the refrigerator, which is where you are probably thinking of sticking them!I have included two photos in this review for your inspection. 5
