    good to use productordered with 2 day shipping got it 5-6 days later. was NOT happy about that as i needed it on the day it was supposed to get there. yet i had to wait 4 more days for it to arrive... other than that the beads work great for the polishing part of the rock tumbler.. makes the tumbling a lot quieter. works great if you only have a few pieces to polish and you don't want to do a full load. 3we found that the rocks were still a little dull. So we got these plastic fillers and ran ...I got a rock tumbler for Christmas. It was more for the kids, but we were looking for an opportunity to polish rocks we found at the beach and do it as a family. At the end of the 4+ week process, we found that the rocks were still a little dull. So we got these plastic fillers and ran it through the polish process again because we read that this helped with the overall shine . It definitely did. The rocks break down during the early phases of the tumbling process and they need some filler to keep the friction during the tumbling process to keep the barrel full. I think if the barrel isn't full, the barrel doesn't get enough friction to polish properly. It has been so much fun to do this with the kids. They love the end product. We already started the next batch of rocks. Fingers crossed, we are hoping for some more polished results. Overall, a fun family activity. 5Five StarsI bought these to use with my rock tumbler. They worked perfectly. Large package,contains enough to do many batches. 5Will definitely purchase again.I am using the pellets now for the polishing stage and am pleased. I don't have a lot of experience using them but follow several U tubers who use Polly Plastics all the time. Will definitely purchase again. 5Definitely helps with the noiseI'm new to rock tumbling and people I have spoken with have universally said their biggest complaint was the noise. The tumbler I bought was supposed to be quieter than average but I bought these to help out even more. Where I noticed a big difference was between the first and second grit I didn't add additional pellets to compensate for the loss of material in the first tumble and it was significantly noisier. In the 3rd grit phase I added new pellets to get the drum about 2/3 full and the difference in noise is amazing. Since I haven't run any without the pellets I can't speak to how it is affecting the performance of the tumbling vs without the pellets but I'm happy with the results I've seen so far. 5So far, so goodReceived these just in time for my first batch of stones and they seemed to work as needed in one batch that was being tumbled (I didn't have a enough small filler stones). Just rinsed and started the second step in the tumbling process with more of this filler. The filler from the first batch stayed intact and can be used again. 5Great for polishing but hard to clean and reuseI used this product as filler in a rock tumbler for later, polishing stages. It worked very well although I have yet to successfully clean the pellets enough to reuse them. Nonetheless they worked very well, arrived on time and well packaged for shipping. 5New to rock tumbling and glad to find this siteProduct is packed well in a resealable heavy duty plastic bag. The parrot is cute as their logo. LOL. I was so glad to see these products are proud to be made in the USA and they are NOT made in China like most of the crap we buy. They sent an email thanking me for my purchase. How nice. Supplies came with my rock tumbler but not the plastic pellets. I know I can trust to order my supplies from Polly's when mine run out. 5Came on time and the product is as expectedLooking forward to the results! Thanks for offering this product for rock tumbling. The only shame is that this doesn't come in most of the beginner's kits. 5Good ValueThis product does a great job of dampening the noise of rock tumbling. I actually use it with tumbling coins I dig from the ground,works wonderfully with out trashing the coins. Pellets are reusable and float which makes it easy to separate them from the slurry. 5
