    Unsatisfied CustomerI used to have loads of fun playing this game when I was around 10 or 11 with my mother and brother and the neighborhood kids during summer vacation. We would sit in our garage at a card table (because it was the coolest room in the house!) and play Michigan Rummy and laugh for hours. I wanted to replicate those times when our family and friends get together and play games, so I purchased this Pressman version. I was disappointed when I opened the packaged and saw the poor quality of the plastic used in making the game board, there are no betting chips included (even though they are listed on the box as being included), and the game was also missing instructions. I was going to return the item, but figured I could buy the chips (or we could use pennies, nickles, and dimes) and copy the instructions off of the internet. It was just a disappointing purchase all around. 2Great Game SetThis is a great game set. My family played Michigan Rummy after dinner on holidays when I was a child. I bought this set because I wanted to teach my children. It has everything you need, although we purchased additional chips. It s a great set. 5Good price and Fast shipper.This game is very hard to find locally and the seller had it priced affordably as well as provided fast service in making sure the item arrived in a timely manner. In fact, it exceeded my expectations. This game, also known as Tripoli, has been a past-time favorite. Many manufacturer's offer the game on a flat plastic cloth-like surface which makes it difficult to keep the chips correctly allocated to their right sections. This particular brand took that into account and provides deep bins to hold chips. Keep in mind this is made of cheap thin plastic but there is no reason that the game won't last for years if properly cared for. I am very satisfied with my purchase. 5Not very sturdyThe format (cards and values and such) are the ones I wanted, but the plastic tray doesn't seem thick or strong enough if it is used very much. The more heavy duty ones, however, used different card values and suits than the way we play it.I hope it holds up. 4Cheapo gameThis was a substitute birthday gift for a young girl. We had ordered a deluxe set for her, but the supplier never shipped it, so we quickly got this one...........Very cheaply made, undersized chips......... it would work in a pinch, I guess. 3game night.Have not played this for many years. Some friends were talking one night about games to play. I mentioned Michigan Rummy. They had never heard of it. Next game night we can play this one. An old game remembered fondly. 5Fun game! Actually fairly sturdy tray and quite a bargain. (We always pay full price.)A really fun game and with the large size of the tray cups we will be able to use regular poker chips. At first, we hesitated buying this particular brand of Michigan Rummy because of previous reviewers saying the tray was very flimsy, leading us to wonder if we should buy two games so we could double the thickness by nesting the trays together or else see if we could backfill a single tray with expanding foam to add structural support. Upon receiving the single game, however, we found the tray we were sent is actually fairly sturdy. We had no trouble at all playing a Michigan Rummy game with friends and expect the tray will probably hold up well enough on its own. We're very happy to have taken the chance, especially for the low price that was listed ($10 in September 2018.) The downside of the set we received is actually the small number of playing chips that are included, but now that we know the tray is large and sturdy enough we have already ordered a much larger number of regulation size poker chips to replace them. 4Very thin plasticThe plastic is thinner than I thought, even after reading the reviews. Some of the plastic had dents when the box was first opened, but were easily pushed back into shape. The box says that rules are included, but rules were nowhere to be found.I read other reviews and was prepared for what I received. I paid less than $10 for the game. It is certainly not worth more, but it will be nice to have molds to hold our antes when we play. Leaving the plastic mold in the box should help with the sturdiness. 3A really fun game for all!This game is so much fun! Everyone can learn to play it. Have lots of pennies on hand! The only problem is that the actual rummy game is made a bit thin and could easily crack. Be careful with it. Otherwise, it is great family fun! 5Cheap quality at a cheap priceCheap quality but what do you expect for the price. The plastic tray is very thin but unlike the more expensive wooden one it does hold more chips. Didn't like the fact that you can't change the winning card hands. (And most of the winning cards are hearts). I don't expect this too last very long. 3
