Customer Reviews

Very strong chemical smell but enjoyable once the odor airs outCan't beat the price and my daughter really enjoys playing with these, as does my husband (and me)! I purchased these for a party favor. The quality is good. They are soft rubber-like plastic filled with air. They are pretty resilient to being squeezed and have a little loop that you can use to bounce it off your hand like a paddle ball. These would have gotten five stars except for the VERY strong chemical smell that they shipped with. After airing out for a few days, I can't smell it anymore. If you have any sort of sensitivity to chemicals, I would advise you stay away and if you do buy definitely let these sit in a well ventilated area or outside until the smell goes away. 3Popped with in minutesI ordered these for my son who has a sensory processing disorder. I am glad they came in a set of six because I had the throw them out every night. They did not last a day. The first one he was playing with the "handle/finger loop" and it popped right off. Afraid he or is little sister would try and eat it and choke on it, in the trash it went. He popped the second one before bed (he is not hard on them just normal tossing and pulling like you would expect from a toy like this.) That is when I ordered a Koosh ball, thank goodness they arrived before he popped the last one because he loves the ball. I just wish they were better quality. I guess you get what you pay for. 2Flat batchThese would be great, if only they weren't flat! I use a lot of different "fidgets" for my clients, and the yo-yo style koosh is always a favorite. That means I have to order new ones every few months or so. I was very disappointed to find that every single puffer in this batch (my second order of the Rhode Island Novelty Puffer Balls, but this time from a different seller - Nesro's Electronics - as an add-on item) was flat. I wish I could blame it on the winter weather, but they have been in a comfortably warm office for 24 hours and are still very definitely flat.On a good note (and the reason I gave an "It's okay" 3-star rating), the colors are vibrant and the light-up apparatus inside is very bright and flashy. I will definitely look for more from a different seller because they are always a favorite in the office. 3For Adult Fidget Only--DO NOT GIVE TO KIDSI got these for myself (27 yo) as fidgets for when I'm watching TV and watching online class videos/working at my desk. Since they were relatively cheap, I have been relentless about stretching, punching, smacking, etc. them and have yet to break them. As you can imagine with the material, they start with a weird, questionable film on them that makes them soft but with manipulation, this wears and the item gets tacky and tangled with itself easily.I WOULD SO NOT GIVE THIS TO YOUNG KIDS. These are cheaply made toys and I was not overly shocked when I stretched one of the balls and found a tiny splinter of metal embedded in the side. I maneuvered the splinter out of the wall so that it is free moving inside and the thick walls have protected me from getting hurt when gripping the item really tightly. I have had no problems but it's a metal splinter--would not risk any kids for that. 5My toddler LOVES, LOVES, LOVES these.I think I paid 6 for a buck, and boy, have I gotten my value out of them. They are the first "balls" that I felt comfortable having my 2 year old throw around the house, and near his 6 month old sister. They look like a Koosh ball, but the center is actually an air filled sack, and when you squeeze it, big balls of air temporarily elongate the ball in a weird shapes and then compress back to the center. The best part about them, though, is that they are so soft that a direct hit to the face at full toddler-throw-speed will not hurt anyone. You also get 6 of these, so can afford to temporarily lose a couple of them behind the couch without any repercussions. One note, though, I didn't get 6 different colors (as shown in the picture): I got two yellow, two pink, and two orange. Finally, they can pop. My toddler was going through a chewing phase and he deflated one. After that, though, we talked about it and he didn't damage any more over the next few months.Recommended! 5Great tactile item for studentsI use these for tactile "soothers" for students. I throw 'em to them when they answer a question correctly, when they are sleepy, or when they have excess energy that can be expended on the squishy little ball. You can "renew" them by washing them and dusting them with a little corn starch. 5Success.....We Homeschool our six year old son, because of various medical conditions. He had brain surgery when he was 2 1/2 and at times has a hard time sitting still and focusing. I was looking for items that he could hold in his hand and "fidget" with that would not distract him from whatever lesson I may be teaching or any work he needs to be doing and I found these. At first the texture was off for him because he has sensory issues, but we kept at it and now this is one of his main go to fidget items. He can squeeze this while sitting or standing and it helps him to focus. It may be a little big to take to a regular school however, but I think overall if you have a special needs child it is definitely worth investing in. They arrived well packaged and in a timely manner. No unusual smells, which for us is always a major concern. 4Just okay but would not buy againThese are great feeling sensory puffer balls but will "pop" and not last very long. By not long, do not expect them to last more than a few hours. For the price they are not bad but they are thin and will develop a hole quickly resulting in a flat object. Also, do not let them be placed in bath water or all of the puffers will stick together and lay flat on the ball. Even when they have time to dry, the puffers will be sticky and lie flat. They also have a petroleum distillate smell. I would not buy them again. 3Extreme durability even under lots of stress!I bought these for myself to use as stress relievers, which I tend to accidentally destroy a lot. I used to use balloons filled with different things but kept breaking them from squeezing them so hard subconsciously during panic attacks - even AFTER putting a filled balloon inside 2 or 3 others! I even have accidentally destroyed "indestructible" stress balls.Anyway, I bought these thinking I'd probably break each one of them after 1 or two days but wanted to try them anyway. We used to have a GIANT one of these 10 or so years ago, and no matter what kind of abuse my young daughter and her friends dishes out to that thing, it never actually broke: it just deflated a little at a time. So, I figured "What the heck? These may work."So far I've been using the same ball every day for over a week, and it hasn't broken yet! The only other stress balls that lasted that long were the "indestructible" ones. It has deflated a little bit, but there's still plenty of use left in it. There are no holes even though I've stretched it, twisted it, and even accidentally sat on it. I'm very impressed with the durability and would recommend these to anyone looking for stress balls. 5Toys for my catUnlike others who buy these for stress balls, I buy them for my cat. She absolutely loves these and will continue to play with them even when they are deflated. She carries them around in her mouth and then tosses them up into the air. Rinse and repeat, lol. These are the third time I ve purchased them for her and will continue to buy them. They do stink to high heaven when you first get them but leaving them out to air for a few days will do the trick, washing them isn t necessary. One other thing, this particular batch of 12 weren t completely inflated which wasn t a deal breaker for me but for some it might. 5
