    A lot of information in a small space!Everywhere we go we run the risk of being stranded in bad weather. During an emergency it is easy to forget what you know at any other time, and these cards offer a wealth of information in a clear and concise format to help you remember all that you need to know to survive until help arrives. Couple this with the format being on a deck of playing cards, and there is no reason to be bored when you get tired of reading these excellent survival suggestions either. This is an excellent resource in many ways, and they are great with your camping gear, in your car and at home or the office. 5DecentI would buy multiple packs if they were 5 bucks with shipping 11 was a bit much. They are plastic coated so the edges can still get soggy and ruin the whole card. Watch your beer while playing poker! Average info on them I found the jokers to be the most useful in a survival situation, which is ironic because I usually lose the jokers first. When they finally release "never wet" (youtube it) I'm coating a deck of these and putting them in my camping bag. It arrived earlier than expected too. 4Don't expect much with these.Hope one doesn't expect to really USE these for survival help and play with them also as they are not as durable as regular "Bicycle" (Hoyle) playing cards. Each card covers one subject. How do you survive a hurricane, earthquake or forest fire? How to treat a fracture, frostbite or hypothermia? You think you know? Well, you don't!! These cards are the most important cards you will EVER buy, especially if you grew up in the city and you know diddly about life beyond the concrete jungle. I'm taking kids to Yellowstone so I bought these cards to get them in the mood so to speak. Well, was I shocked at the amount of useful information in this deck. My oldest who is 10 going on 40 is well versed in everything nature (and I mean everything!), but his mind opened up even more with each read of a card. These are not just for kids!! There isn't a card in the deck that hasn't given us a host of things to do in an emergency that we didn't know. Read them to yourself, your family and your friends. Take them with you when you travel. I always preach SAFETY so these cards help reinforce safety education. Please buy these for yourself and for your loved ones! I already had playing cards in my bushcraft kit, and I saw these and figured why not get something dual purpose. I bought these as a novelty but it turns out they actually have some quality and useful information. I plan on buying a couple more decks to give to friends. Fast shipping, too. 5Learn while you playI live and play in the mountains of beautiful Colorado. It is not unheard of to prepare for situations that can arise... and this product allowed me to do just that while playing a friendly game of poker. The cards themselves are well made with a coating that seems fairly protective from spills and heavy game playing. I took it a step further... I always carry note paper in my hiking packs and vehicle emergency kits. I copied the cards that would help in hiking/camping situations as well as ones that would help in a snow stranded vihicle. Then I cut them up into the size of the cards themselves (perfect note size) and now I have blank note paper on one side and wilderness survival tips on the other. The paper also fits well into an altoid tin (for those of you that like to carry tins with little survival gear in them) not to mention the burn value. Enjoy your next game of cards and never worry about being impatient for your opponents next move... you have something to read after all. 4Yes the wording is smallNice and small and can fit in any pocket easily.
