Customer Reviews

Great game to use at a schoolI love this game for using in group or individual social work sessions at the school I work at. I bought the expansion pack that comes with different decks of cards relating to topics such as grief, divorce, conflict resolution, etc. I haven't used all the decks, but I've played the game multiple times. My middle school students are entertained by it and are not focused on who is going to win. A lot of the questions are thought provoking and lead to conversations. Sometimes I have to reword the questions to help the students understand better, but that is understandable. 5Love this gameThis is one of my favorite games, I even play with kids up to 12 yes or older if they have developmental disorders. This game makes it easy to introduce and reinforce CBT concepts. 5Counseling GameI counsel elementary school students, and my students love this game! It is a perfect way to help students identify their feelings, use coping strategies, and problem solve... without them even realizing they are doing it! Everything is better in a game form, and this game is cute, fun, and quick but not too quick to play. I would definitely recommend. 5It's a great therapy toolIt's a great therapy tool, but way too expensive for what you get. I think $19.99 would be a more than fair price. 4Fantastic Therapy and Small Group Game!!!I use this game with my clients in therapy and in the school setting with small groups and it is wonderful! the game really encourages the players to think and express their emotions. My clients come to therapy and ask to play this game and I have noticed that my clients that struggle with impulsiveness really do get something out of this. Would highly recommend to any school counselor or professional counselor to have in their toolbox! 5Great for therapistsThis is such a great game! I use it in a busy child therapy office and many kids are drawn to it by the look of it and I feel good spending the session playing the game because it provides lots of opportunities to learn new emotional regulation skills and you can take the game to many different levels of insight! 5Kids like it! Learn while having fun.Of the several "kids" therapeutic board games I've tried, they seem to like this one the best (1st-4th graders). The little ones may need help reading the cards but they generally seem to find the game fun and can usually answer the questions thoughtfully. We made a rule that you only recycle back one time in each of the board areas where you have to go back to a starting point... there are three main areas of the game board and each one has an area like that. Helps keep it fun. 5Love this gamePerfect for my highly energetic and impulsive 8 year old boy, he gets frustrated playing and we work on that, then he loves winning by practicing his control. It s a win win 5Great resource!I'm a skills worker, this game is great for kids with all sorts of diagnosis as it builds emotional vocab, teaches self control, relaxation skills, and problem solving. Highly recommend you get this if you work with kids! 5Pretty good tool for anger management and impulse controlPretty good tool for anger management and impulse control. It's a quick game. The board is attractive to kids and it changes things up so the child doesn't get board. 4
