Cheap, not sturdy, not enough pieces to make it sturdyI'm glad many others get these for free to test but I paid full price to find out this isn't what it looks like. There aren't enough legs to make it look like the picture and actually have it stand up without falling apart. Very disappointed as it seemed like a great idea, just cheap cheap cheap 1Good set, exactly what it says it isGood set, exactly what it says it is. Fully compatible with Lego or MegaConstrux or similar building blocks. Six inches is rather small for a base plate, but quite large for a tower. The base plates are a little soft and flexible, making the compatibility questionable in the full tower construction due to the base plate flexing a little when only the Stackers support pillars(also a little flexible) are used. Connections are a little weak, but given the small size of the Stackers support pillars that's to be expected. When used with another Strickly Briks set with more bricks it stabilizes and works perfectly. 30 Stackers, but that end up with eight blue, eight dark grey, then seven black and seven light grey, so uneven colors. I would suggest the gray scale in future sets(or solid colors), but the blue is pleasantly darker than shown on my monitors and matches the old classic "space" themed sets Lego used to make pretty well. Again, by itself it's too flimsy to work as a display or storage shelf, but with additional bricks to fill things out fixes all these issues. 3I like the productI like the product, and I realize that what I am going to say is completely my own fault, but I will share it anyway. The photo is deceiving. It makes the shelves look like they are standard size; however, they are quite small. (In all fairness, the website does share their actual size; however, I missed that when I ordered them.) Also, as it states in the description, these are not Lego brand but they do work with Lego. I am using them to display several of my mini-figures and they work. Just don't expect them to come together like Lego/act like Lego. They are not Lego. Also, when I thought I was getting larger shelves, the price seemed reasonable; however, I think the price is a bit high for the quality and size of the shelves. 4Wanted to love it.Wanted to love this but it comes apart way too much. I mean very easily. My kids lost so many creations by putting them in this tower then the tower crumbling when someone walks by or the dog sniffs it. I'm not exaggerating either, it's a very light touch. I had to put it together because that's how light touch it is. Once I did I placed in the corner of his room and said don't move the tower just place things on it. I still have had to rebuild it a couple times because of what was mentioned above. Wind of passing kids or dog sniffing. My son has rebuilt it a lot by himself and won't place stuff on it anymore because it is again is such a light touch. It's super cute. Came fast in the mail and had all the parts. It just does not hold up to practical use and play as you would expect a tower to. It won't hold your small creations and he has not tried larger ones. So I wanted to like this I really did but it's just not worth the investment for us. 3Brilliant new concept to expand use of the other building brick toys.The concept of these stackable base plates were a big hit with my grandsons. Regular base plates from Lego do not stack as the underside is not design to have the bricks connect to them. The boys played with their Star Wars legos minifigures and small action figures for hours. The base plates and stacking supports allow for all sorts of configurations. My only complaint was one of the supports was missing. My only options for this problem was to pack it all up and return it. That solution was not going work in this case as he was already playing with it and did not want to give it up. 5Brick Giant in the Making!These Strictly Briks are an absolutely phenomenal purchase! Not only are they at an incredible price point, but the quality is near equal to name brand giants. In fact it is my opinion that in just a few years Strictly Briks will become an equal standing to the bigger block companies. Remember this company; they're going places! It does my heart good to know it is a family run company based in Wisconsin! Who knew! I myself have made almost a dozen purchases from them in the last couple weeks and will continue to collect each of the new products they are coming out with. They are not a clone company as we've been seeing from overseas; Strictly Briks is coming out with original concepts that are adding so much expansion to building brick play! I'm excited to see their existence and strongly encourage you to give these a try; you will be so happy that you did! 5Great idea, but could be much betterGreat idea that could have been done so much better.PROS- compatible with regular Lego bricks- compatible with DUPLO Lego bricks (surprise, because it's not listed in the ad), but not compatible with Duplo figurinesCONS1) Looking at the photo in their ad you would imagine that you'll be able to create 4 floors, but it's not the case.You end up having only 3 floors, but because there are not enough supporting bricks, the 2nd floor is really narrow. With regular Lego bricks it is still quite difficult to make that 2nd floor area playable, because you can't really move past the closest inch.Which means that you really only have 2 floors, the 1st and the 3d (top).Now my question is - what is the 4th base plate for? And where are the supporting bricks for that that were shown in the ad picture?2) The base plates are thin and when you push your bricks down, the 2nd and the 3d floors will bend. For smaller kids it is more difficult because you basically need to support the base plate from the opposite side so that you can push the blocks on it.SUGGESTIONSCustomers:- you'll probably need to use your other Lego set bricks to create the playable 2nd and 4th floor- you can use a silicone coaster under the first floor base to avoid slidingCompany:- please, make the plates thicker so that they don't bend- change the ad picture OR add more supporting bricks to give it 4 floorsI am somewhat disappointed as I will have to think of what to do with that.But still this is a nice thing to have.Thank you for reading, rate it if it was helpful :) 3Too flimsy to support enjoyable playSuper-duper flimsy. Also confused why they sell with 30 support bricks instead of 32 to make each floor even supported (and ideally more stable).Lots of people recommend super-glueing, but my 7 year old kid likes to disassemble and reassemble. He s only been playing with it for 30 minutes and much frustration from collapsing. Easily fixable but annoying when your figures go flying throughout the room in a scattered bit of chaos.Nicely compatible with brand name, and I like the idea of this, but it s poorly executed due to instability and flimsy design flaws. I wouldn t buy it again. 2Smaller than standard baseplatesThese base plates work nice to build different layers. I was surprised at their size but this was my fault for lack of reading comprehension. These are 6"x 6" so a tad smaller than the standard 10"x 10" base plates. Price point of $12 seems good since the 10"x 10" plates sell for $6 a piece. My son loves them and has imagined it to be all sorts of buildings. It currently is a hotel for his people. The tower seems pretty sturdy. They have not collapsed just occasionally a leg will sort of buckle and you have to stand it back up. Legos seem to be pretty compatible with the base plates 5but if you fill in some of the walls it will become easily solid and stableTo date I have bought 2 of these for use in a brickfilm (Lego movie) I am producing. This 3 level stack creates and quick way to create a building to use with Lego (or generic) building blocks. By itself it creates a fairly unstable building, but if you fill in some of the walls it will become easily solid and stable. It comes with four nice size plates (usable for anything plates are used for) and enough building beams to connect it together the way it is in the picture. My only complaint is in the packaging of the product. The company should reconsider taping the plates together for shipping. The tape is not that easy to get off and leaves some sticky residue. 5
