Creativity Abounds! It's rainy outside and cold and I have 3 kids visiting me inside a small house. What to do?TV is always the easy answer but we monitor TV programs and the amount of time spent watching TV. That leaves a whole lot of time for other things.My easy solution is to buy Construction Paper, color crayons, pencils, paint, white drawing paper, glue sticks, color books and turn the kids' imagination loose and let them go!It's great fun. They have a good time whether they're coloring or making a card or coloring using glue stick and construction paper or making a paper house (3d of course) and I enjoy watching them. Sometimes I even pick up a pair of scissors and play as well.At the end of the day, they're asking to take things home to "finish them" and I have a whole new set of art to display on my fridge door. Sometimes Mom and Dad even get a homemade card!Old fashioned ways still work! 4Good product Good product, good range of colors, the size is very large. The quality of the paper as far as construction paper goes, is good. Some construction paper feel very thin and cheap, like printer paper, but this paper is like that ones you use as a kid in kindergarten and has good weight to it. Would like better packaging as once you open the plastic, it just becomes difficult to organize, but that's more an issue with the packaging decisions of the production company/all construction paper products rather than an issue from this seller. The seller itself was timely and overall, was an easy experience. 4Mostly White with a Few Colors I thought I was ordering a package of colored construction paper for a project today in class. Unfortunately, this package is mostly white (5 Purple, 5 Brown, 8 Orange, 15 Blue, 22 Red, 40 White, 18 Green, 15 Yellow, 10 Black, 5 Pink, & 5 Light Blue), I would have preferred 15 sheets of each color. I would return, but I need it today for school. Quality of the paper is better than expected. 3More White paper than any other Color I would expect to get the same amount of paper per color. There is more white than other color some colors less than others still not a lot of brown or pink. 2I'm disappointed to have received this product when I expected something ... This pack comes with a large amount of white paper which was not clear when I ordered. I was expecting equal distribution of the colors. There is an even amount of green yellow blue and orange and a very small amount of all other colors. I'm disappointed to have received this product when I expected something else. 2The Skinny On SunWorks Construction Paper 300 Sheets, Assorted Colors I am hoping to answer some questions for potential buyers that I had prior to purchasing this construction paper:*There are 10 colors in this assortment (number of sheets of each color is in parentheses): purple(15), brown(15), orange(25), blue(30), red(40), green(40), yellow(30), black(25), pink(15), light blue(15).*There are an additional 50 sheets of white paper (kind-of a creamy white).*The weight is substantial for construction paper; heavier than copy paper but lighter weight and not as stiff as card stock.*The colors are bold and vibrant. The black is really black, not dark grey.*The paper is color-fast, it does not bleed when wet.*It folds and cuts very well.*The surface texture is very nice. I bought this mostly for coloring with my 16 month old daughter and wanted paper with enough texture that crayons would leave a nice, satisfying mark even under light pressure as she learns how to hold and bare down with a crayon properly. This paper is perfect for that.*Great for markers; no bleeding, just nice crisp lines. Also, as an experiment, I held a marker in one spot to see how long it took to soak through to the other side-3 seconds. That means less marker transfer to floors, tables and other household surfaces.*The paper is environmentally friendly: it is source certified through the Sustainable Forestry Initiative, and is recyclable.*Made in the USA.*At the time of purchase, the price was the same for 300 assorted sheets as for 100 sheets of a single color.Overall, I think this was a great deal for the quantity and quality. I know we will have lots of fun coloring, cutting, pasting and doing all of the other great things kids love to do with construction paper! I will definitely buy another ream when we finish this one. 5Childrens Crafting paper not printable not like cardstock Well this was thought to be construction paper like colored cardstock (67# cover) and was expected to print on it through a laser printer or use it as separator sheets between book sets. But the paper is too light and flimsy and will not feed through a printer. Very disappointed in the paper but maybe it was was my bad for assuming it was like colored cardstock- 1Not As Heavyweight As I Was Hoping The description calls for a heavyweight construction paper, but after I opened it I found that to not be the case. I compared it to some other construction paper I have in the kids' stack and it's more accurately resembles the paper I picked up at the Dollar Store. It's more like a light to medium weight thickness which makes it easy for the kids to cut or tear, but not so desirable if you're working on a project where you don't want it to rip. The colors are bright, but are not as uniform as they should be and are lightly spotted with imperfections. I also compared the paper to some other heavyweight construction paper I have at home that I was hoping this would be. The true heavyweight paper I have is more like a construction paper cardstock. There is a considerable difference between the two in terms of weight, color quality and consistency. For example, I tested the bleeding effect between the two. While holding a marker in one spot, it takes 4 seconds to bleed through on this brand and the Dollar Store brand and 7 seconds on the true heavyweight paper.This isn't a bad set of construction paper, but definitely not the quality I was hoping to receive. I'd give it five stars for the variety of colors and amount of paper you get for the price, but the thinness of the paper and quality of the colors brings it back down to three. Basically, if you're looking for a good value on construction paper that is good for cutting and gluing projects, then this will probably be fine. But if you're needing something of a little better quality, where you need to have it not rip too easily on you and the colors are vibrant, then I suggest you look for another brand of paper. 3So much paper! So many colors! I'm crafty, and I love me some construction paper. It's great for making holiday decorations, birthday cards. I use it to wrap small gifts when I'm out of fancy wrapping paper. This pack is perfect for several reasons. Not only was the price right, this "smart stack" of paper isn't connected to a pad with goo. I don't know about you, but I've ripped several sheets of perfectly good construction paper in my day, trying to remove them from the pad. This is also good quality paper, not that mushy stuff. 300 sheets provides you with a variety of colors-- light blue, pink, black, yellow, green, white, red, blue, orange, brown and purple. Imagine the possibilities! I do have to admit that the white is mostly wasted on me, since I always have computer paper at the ready and would much rather have more of the colors. I also have no idea why different quantities are provided in the pack, maybe depending on supposed popularity of each color? You get the most red, green and white. This is followed by yellow and blue. Then you get a smaller amount of black and orange, and the smallest supply of purple, brown, pink and light blue. Fortunately, 300 sheets is a lot, so even the colors provided in the tiniest quantity still give you about 15 sheets each. 5BEWARE!! I'm so disappointed I need this construction papers for my first daughter's birthday. I will make Ladybug's theme. I searched on amazon and this construction paper have so many good review. I trust them! and I can't wait to make my own project.and when I had a chance to make my own project, I just realized how terrible are they.first, when I opened the plastic cover, I found that blue color, already ripped just a little bit, you can see on my pictures.second, I'm very disappointed, that the red color is not a red! it is a pink! I'm using ladybug with red color not pink!you will see the different color between red color that they have with my red flannel fabric that I used for my ladybug wings.so buyers if you look for red color in this brand, you may consider to buy it. because this is a lesson for all of you that wanna buy it. but if you don't mind, that's ok! it is your choice.let's be fair, the quantity is a lot, so i like it. the thick of the paper is great, that's why i gave them 3 star, 3
