My little guy is going to love it!I got this for my son for Christmas so he hasn t actually got to play with it yet. But my review is based on putting it together and the quality. Assembling it took me a hour and a half to two hours. When I got everything laid out it was a bit overwhelming to look at but the directions were very easy to understand. With the exception of 2 mess ups in the direction that were easy to figure out, it didn t set me back more that 2 minutes. I love the fact that it s sturdy and the material has a sense of durability to it. One concern I do have is that the oven door might get broken with the way it hangs open with little give, I can see my children leaning on it. The knobs actually turn and make a clicking noise. All the doors matched up with the latches with the exception of the oven door but all I did was loosen a screw or two. Really excited for him to see it Christmas morning, until then it ll be hiding in the closet haha! 5A lot of features for the cost. This toy ...A lot of features for the cost. This toy has 37 steps to put together and there was one hole that we had to drill ourselves. I say we because I partook in the assembly from 930-1130pm on Christmas Eve. My husband was up for another 2 hours putting it together. My son LOVES cookin so this is a tota victory at my house. But, if you can, give yourself a few evenings to put this thing together if your relationship with your significant other is fragile. 4My daycare kids love this. It seems sturdyMy daycare kids love this. It seems sturdy. I wish the oven door opened sideways instead of dropping down. I fear this may be the first thing to break. Needs to come with an attachment to secure to the wall. If you have climbers they can tip it over on top of themselves. I used bungee cords to attach it so it would not tip over. (Attached to a stabled, permanently attached baby gate in my daycare room on Wall) I also took the 2 drawers away, but they fit perfect and are great for storing little foods or spoons, etc. It comes with a spatula, pot holder, phone, and 3 plastic herb/spice bottles/shakers. 4Minor issues but great kitchenI read through all the reviews for this kitchen, watched all the videos, and spent a lot of time searching for the perfect durable kitchen for my toddler. After all my research, I was super excited about my purchase and couldn't wait to get it. I ordered it December 22nd 2015 and the item arrived January 6th 2016. When I got the box I could see it had been through a lot on it's cross country trip from California to West Virginia that's understandable. But, I didn't like that when I picked the box up I could hear screws rattling around inside. When we opened it, the screws had come out of their package and were all over the box, which in turn put nicks in the wood slabs. Not to mention I had to carefully collect them all to make sure we didn't lose any and cross my fingers that none had fallen out of the damaged box during shipping. After step one was complete, we put the kitchen together and all the bad went away. It truely is adorable. It's durable, mostly good quality, and everything works as it should. My daughter absolutely loves it and it's the perfect height for her. I would highly recommend. Three things I would recommend to the manufacturer; 1. Making the clock hands tighter to where both stay put, one hand on mine just falls and hangs. 2. Instead of using pegs to hold the microwave button slab in place, maybe make a place for screws (everytime the door opens or closes, the button slab turns in or out like a swivel), 3. A stopper for the oven door, when opened it flies to the floor quickly. I realize it has hinges but a stopper to stop the door from slamming down would be nice for toddlers. Other than that, great product and still happy with it.(Extra food pictured not included) 4PARENTS! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!Hello, parents. This is the first Amazon review I've ever written. I have two little kids and I just don't care about products that much. But I feel compelled to write this because I would like other people to avoid the mistake I made. This kitchen is just not worth it. First, the assembly took my husband and me hours and hours over multiple days. We are not particularly handy, but we've done our share of IKEA projects over the years. Assembly for this kitchen is incredibly laborious with a kazillion parts and directions that are very hard to follow. And then, after all that effort putting it together, it is so shoddily made that it started falling apart immediately. First, the clock hardware never worked correctly and then fell off and couldn't be fixed. Then the handle of the microwave fell off. A few weeks ago, one of the hinges on the cabinet door snapped off. It is an atypical size, so the closest fit I could find at our local hardware store didn't work. I called the company to ask for a replacement and they told me that since I bought it more than 90 days ago, they would charge me for a replacement +shipping. Honestly, kids don't really care one way or the other, but it's depressing to spend money on what looks like a solid, wooden play set, only to find that it has been made in the cheapest way possible.For what it's worth, a friend got a Hape kitchen around the time we got hours (Christmas 2016), and theirs has held up much better:https://www.amazon.com/Hape-Creative-Cookery-Wooden-Kitchen/dp/B000A6L6WK/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1549294053&sr=8-4&keywords=hape+kitchenGood luck! 1Looks even better than the pictures, but could be missing some pre-drilled holes necessary for assembly.Got this for my daughter for christmas. I would have given it 5 stars except that there were quite a few of the pieces that were supposed to have holes pre-drilled but WERE NOT. This wasn't a big deal as I am a very experienced wood-worker and fabricator and had all the necessary tools on hand to properly correct these mistakes. For anyone without the tools and knowhow, this would be a MAJOR show-stopper. You should only need a couple of screwdrivers and a little patience to assemble this kitchen. It goes together like a piece of IKEA furniture. I also added limit straps to stop the oven door at 90 .Once assembled, this thing is AWESOME. Lots of very nice detail. The finished product is very sturdy, and very attractive with lots of cool little details, and looks even BETTER than the Amazon product photos. I am very very pleased with this purchase, and my 6-year-old daughter absolutely loves it. 4It's not solid woodI ordered this for my grandchildren to play with at my house. I chose this model because it stated it was made of wood. It's not. While some parts are solid wood and very nice, other parts are made of pressed particleboard with wood-look plastic veneer. I guess that is technically a wood product but it's disappointing nonetheless, hence only 4 stars.As others stated, assembly takes a while (90 minutes here) but was not difficult. The directions are very thorough and everything matched up. I used some wood glue on the joints just to make it sturdier. 4Great choiceReally cute, little kitchen. We have limited space in our house for larger toys so when we decided we wanted a play kitchen I was looking for one that was pretty compact, but still had a lot to offer for creative play. This one is perfect. In my opinion, it was a lot cuter than the ones that are made to look like modern kitchens. The only thing that I think could have made this better is a shelf in the middle of the "refrigerator"/under sink cupboard. However, I ended up adding those removeable 3M/Command hooks in there and on the outsides too to hang her utensils and pots, etc. It works well and really helped organize and clean up the space. It took me a couple hours to put it together by myself, but only because I was multitasking with a Netflix binge. One small piece was missing from the package so I contacted the company and received a free replacement within 5 days. We are very pleased with the product and our 2-year-old daughter has been having a blast with it. 5Great size for townhouse / condoI was so looking forward to put this up together for my son. First of all, I loves the color of this kitchen! This kitchen size might be a bit small to some family but it's the perfect size for my townhouse. It took me a bit more than 2 hours to put together. I loved how all the pieces was labels with letters which made it easier to put together but then the there's are screws that are missing which require me to go to home depot to buy those missing one. My stove top came broken so i can only put the screw on one side and I am now trying to find a solution to hold the other side in place. Overall, I am happy with this kitchen but it would be perfect if no screws were missing and if the stove top wasn't broken. 3Nice design for decent priceOrdered this for Christmas for my 20 month old. She and all her friends absolutely love it. I like that it isn't too big but still has a lot of stuff (doors, clicking knobs, phone, baskets, removable sink, microwave, clock). The pieces got shuffled around a lot during shipping and there are some minor scratches on the paint because of it but it's tolerable. Assembly is straightforward but time-consuming so give yourself plenty of time (took about 3 hrs). Also one knob came off already but we added a bigger washer to the back and it seems fine now. Overall happy with the design, quality, and price. 4
