    My children ages 6 and 3 enjoy this gameMy children ages 6 and 3 enjoy this game. The 3 year old mostly likes putting together the puzzle pieces. I try to only pull it out every now and then as it gets repetitive and boring if played frequently. This games makes a nice addition to our game board collection. 4Excellent Game!I am a preschool therapist and own tons of games, books, and toys. I read this book every year and was excited to add the game to my collection. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality, having been so inexpensive. It's an adorable game and unique. So many preschool games are alike. I love how children have to collect pieces to put the butterfly puzzle together. It makes it motivating and fun. This game is best for older threes and four to five year olds. 5Great game for any Very Hungry Caterpillar fan!The point of the game is to go around the board, collect five pieces of a butterfly, then get to the middle to turn into a beautiful butterfly. One of my son's favorite games.It uses cards, where I wish it had a spinner for the amount of moves. Other than that, it's a very cute smd basic game for young ones. 4Great Introduction to Board GamesMy toddler likes The Very Hungry Caterpillar and I thought this would be a perfect compliment to the story.The game is very easy to play for my 3-yr-old. It works with numbers, dexterity (puzzle pieces) and even colors to some extent. It's a great starter game for young kids to learn rules and directions. It moves quickly so they don't loose interest and I actually found myself enjoying the game as well. I highly recommend for older toddlers/young preschool aged children. 5Such a CUTE and easy game!Super cute and easy game! I played this with my 4 and 5 year old. They are new to playing board games and this is the perfect starter! Not too complicated fun board and cards that are super easy for them to read because they can count the pieces of fruit on every card. So they are learning to identify numbers and counting and also having fun. I do think past the age of 7 it might be too elementary, but the illustrations are adorable and you can play the game in about 10-15 minutes with 3 or 4 players which is perfect timing. The way to win is simple to understand even for my 4 year old. Happy parent!! 5Good game.Nice little game board for little children. The caterpillars move across the board collecting fruit (butterfly puzzle pieces). The first player to collect all pieces and place a mover in the center of the board (butterfly) wins the game.It s cute. I just wish the manufacturers nowadays would ditch the idea of quad fold game boards. They are trying to make the box smaller by folding the board in four- well, I don t care how big it would make the box. I love nice big boxes. I hate extra cuts and creases on the board. Is it too much to ask? 4My 3 year old LOVES it.We got this game for my 3 year old's birthday. He loves it. It's a great game teaching colors, numbers, counting, fine motor skills, and even a little age appropriate strategic planning. In love that the butterfly puzzle pieces are interchangeable so your butterfly is unique every time. My only complaint, is my three year old loves to set up the game, and the unfolding of the game board was a bit difficult for little hands, and he managed to hulk tear the board in half (you can hardly tell it's been torn when you lay the sides together). Overall, great game, two thumbs up from this house. 5Cute idea, but not for all kidsIt s an adorable set from the well known children s book, great for gifting. However, the game lacks manipulable objects and doesn t involve much movement or excitement. Considering the targeted age group, I find it to be a fairly quiet board game. The concept of putting together a butterfly in the end is cute but the kids I tried it with (age 3-5) weren t motivated to finish the game. Instead, they took the puzzle pieces and made up there own imaginary play...we never really finish playing it as intended. It s cute, but might not be the most interesting game for the restless little ones. 3Great first board game for little onesGreat game for my three-year-old. He loves board games but finding one that he can play with his older brother is a challenge. This game is great because he feels like he can do it on his own and his siblings can play it with him. It's a very simple game, so anyone over the age of five would probably get bored, but perfect for little ones. 5Well made and engagingThis is our new favorite game! I got this for my son's Easter basket.he is 2.5 years old and actually stays engaged long enough to get through it. even his 7 year old cousin likes playing along. We have taken to playing it on the porch and he sets it up almost daily now. I have since bought 2 as gifts. Very well made. The little puzzle ads a fun extra part to other similar board games;Kids love making their butterfly. Beautiful game and great price! A must for any Eric carle fans or toddler parent. Teaches numbers, colors, fruit, logic, and more! 5
