Fun logic game for the whole family!I've had trouble finding logic games that my kids like. They tend to get frustrated with the puzzles before solving them, so I was torn between getting puzzles too easy for them so they can build up some confidence and puzzles that provide a challenge. Well now I think I just wasn't getting the right kind of puzzles. Both of my kids seem frustrated with the "fill the pieces in" kind of puzzles (Trucky for example). I wouldn't have purchased this, but my 8 year old son had played this at a Children's Museum a few times and before long, that was the first place he wanted to go when we arrived. I finally decided to purchase it for him but I was torn between this one and the Junior version since we have a 4 year old as well. I'm glad we got the regular version, though. It's at the perfect level for my 8 year old, and he sets up simple puzzles for my 4 year old. I even like to play, the expert level of puzzles are challenging for me, so everyone in the family is happy. The pieces are plastic, but a great quality and I don't worry about it breaking or cracking. I am so glad they have expansion packs for Rush Hour and I plan on picking them up on my next order. 5One of my favorite games that involve strategy....We love his game. My son loves this game and I love this game. You can literally take this with you anywhere, and occupy yourself for hours. They do have an app now for this game, but I still enjoy playing the material one. Once you master all of the levels, then you can go back and try to complete each level in less steps. It really does require a lot of visual-spacial planning and thinking. You have to rearrange the cars in your mind. If you're looking for a fun game for children and adults alike, especially one that exercises your brain, then this is a home run. It's one of our favorites. It also encourages solitary play, which is a very important skill for kids. I highly recommend this. 5One of the favorite Christmas gifts this year!My girls loved the junior version of this game and now they love the regular version of this game. They play it all the time. They enjoy the challenge and find it fun. I know it is like brain food for their minds, contemplating patterns and strategy to help the car escape. This game is probably equally good for seniors trying to keep the brain sharp and stave off dementia. This was a great Christmas gift and was reported to friends and relatives as possibly the favorite of all the Christmas gifts this year. (Of course, to be fair, our children are accustomed to a diet of books, brain games, music, socks, nightgowns and other *boring* things for Christmas.) Nevertheless, this item is a hit for all kids who come to our house and I highly recommend this game. For entertainment or education! 5Teaches you to think and other life skillsI bought this game to add to our homeschool classroom. I felt we were missing something. I have 2 boys on the autism spectrum. How do I teach patience, to try something new, to accept failure and try again? What do I do about fear of failing? What do I do with a perfectionist who is afraid to try? How do I teach to master something takes much trial and error? How do I teach to lengthen attention span? This series of games does just that. The games starts very simple and to master it takes lots of practice and many mistakes. We had many meltdowns in the beginning. The games teach you to think a certain way and starting at the beginning and working your way through you start to figure it out. The games for us just didn t entertain they helped me teach valuable life skills. We own so many of this companies games for this very reason. Each game has its own unique thinking skill niche. My favorite thing it teaches after we finish each series I ask was it hard? The answer is always yes. Then I follow up were you able to do it? My kids are learning that doing things that are hard is possible with patience. I thank Think Fun for this skill and their wonderful games. 5It is what it says it isI was concerned after reading some reviews. I wanted a game for my 8 year old grandson that was not electronic. He's always on someone's phone or his tablet. After hearing the reviews, I wondered if he would be happy. As it turned out, both he and his sister (who is 13) had a lot of fun playing this game. It was challenging for them using the cards that instruct where to play the cars and trucks. My grandson was thrilled when he reached certain levels. No electronics, just plain using his mind. Love it!!!! 5Classic kids logic puzzle that still holds the test of timeJust a classic game that, IMO, every kid should have. It teaches logic skills and spatial reasoning. It also scales up as you grow up to do harder and harder puzzles. I used to play this growing up all the time, and then I bought one for my 6-year old daughter, and she's playing it all the time as well now. The fact that it's all self-contained too (the cards fit nicely underneath the puzzle) is just an added bonus. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a kids near the age of 5 who's ready to do some solo logic puzzles. 5Great Christmas GiftsI gave two of these games as Christmas gifts, one to my sister in law who years ago gave me an early version of the game. She thought I would have fun playing it with her little grandson who was probably about five or six at the time. Actually, all of the children in the family played the game through the years and all were fascinated with the different patterns to the puzzle. I think that the boys had better spatial concepts and so were better at solving the games than the girls were. It is an addictive game that can be enjoyed by all ages...even four-year-olds are not too young for it, and eighty-year-olds are not too old. I still have the original version on my shelf. 5Good for a wide range of agesExcellent logic game. I purchased it for my 7 year old thinking there was a good chance it would be too hard for him, but he's really gotten into it. It's a challenge for him, but he can solve each puzzle quickly enough so that he doesn't get frustrated. And he LOVES solving new levels. My 4 year old is also able to play this game. It's obviously harder for her, but this is a great game that really can be used by people of all ages. It's been wonderful to see how much progress the kids made...it took a long time for them to solve the first puzzles, but they have clearly learned skills that allow them to figure out harder levels faster. I often pick this up and play with it myself. There's something really relaxing about sliding those little cars around and finally getting the little red one free. 5My kids are 6 and 10 and they both LOVE this gameMy kids are 6 and 10 and they both LOVE this game. Even I enjoy it. My 10-year-old's occupational therapist introduced us to it as a way to help her learn to overcome frustration and solve puzzles. It has been a wild success. Both of my girls will sit and stare at the pieces and move them around and move them back until they get the solution. Particularly nice in my opinion is that the solutions are on the back of the cards, so if you do get really stumped, you can look at the answer. In our house, if you look at the answer, you have to start over and figure it out on your own after solving with the answer. I've found it helps with memory and perseverance. I highly recommend this game for kids and adults.
