    Perfect and adorable This takes about three minutes for the color to get from one side to the other. I use it as a time out clock for my 2 and 3 year old kids. I give them the timer, they sit down with it, watching it calms them down if they are in a state, then I take it and talk to them about what they have done.I love the calming effect and the fact that I can do time out anywhere. All three of them know to sit and watch. It is a perfect amount of time. The last color to go down is yellow, which is a little hard to see, so I often take it from my twin 2 year olds before the yellow is out. They have a slightly shorter time out.We have dropped it a few times and it is still good.If anything were to happen to this, we would by an exact duplicate. 5Just what I was hoping for! I loved these type of liquid motion toys as a kid, and my daughter (age 8) also loves them...I've been hesitant to purchase any online since I've seen such bad reviews on many of them, but we haven't had any leaks at all with ours. It works as it is supposed to and makes a great "desk toy". It looks fairly easy to damage if dropped too many times, so I wouldn't recommend it for kids under age 4 or 5, or anyone who may be "harsh" or destructive with their toys. 5Calming to little kids I got two of these while on sale. Good for calming toddlers, I have a 5 yo and a 2 yo. They don t play with them for long, but it can help them get over a tantrum or meltdown. Durable so far against many drops onto hard floors. 4Great Reinforcing Tool For Kids Who Like Visual Stimulation As the mother of two boys on the Autism Spectrum, I am constantly trying to reinvent the wheel when it comes to finding reinforcers for good behavior and accomplishments, because my kiddos' likes change with the seasons! Thankfully, they both enjoy watching these awesome bubble tubes, and we've purchased several different types of them over the years. This one is inexpensive, colorful (might be a different color than pictured, so don't buy with your heart set on a picture!), and pleasant to watch. It's also durable, which is a must in a household that frequently sees items fly through the air that have no business being airborne! :) 5and they all loved them. At my time of purchase they were ... I got these as gifts for all the children in my extended family for Christmas, and they all loved them. At my time of purchase they were only $4, and not prime eligible, but considered an add-on item so I still got them in 2 days. 8 kids were surrounded by a bunch of fancy, pricey gifts, but everyone kept making sure no one took their dropper, even though they each had one. It was nice to give them something to calm them down, because a bunch of kids together in one room with the excitement of presents can be... headache inducing. The one thing that I was dissatisfied about upon arrival was that out of all the possible color combinations, I got 5 pink and green, and 3 blue and green. There are more little boys in my family so a couple of them had to receive the pink one, which isn't horrible, but only having 2 colors for 8 different kids made them hard to distinguish, which is why there was a little bit of squabbling over whose was whose. I would have liked to have a lot more variety. 4Leaked after only a month of mild use. My liquid motion bubbler was a clear liquid with blue and pink bubbles, as shown in the picture. However, after just about a month of use in my first grade classroom sensory bin, it started leaking. We have carpet in our room so even if they dropped it, I would have expected it to be more durable. I suppose I shouldn't have expected better quality from something that just cost $6. Oh well! 2Leaks Let it sit on the counter overnight and discovered on of the plugs on it leaks. Since it is non-returnable I will try to put some silicone over the plugs and hope it works. 1Discolored Liquid Makes Bubbles Hard To See The main liquid color is yellow. In the photos it's clear so this leads me to believe that this item is defective and or sat around forever and it discolored over time or something. If it is in fact supposed to be yellow I would be surprised because it makes it harder to see the colored oil bubbles. It's actually a really dark yellow too. I can't recommend this item at all. 2Not very durable This novelty toy was purchased for my daughters as part of a "quiet box." They both loved the soothing bubbles and the bright colors.... However, I ordered 2 of them and received 2 of the same colors. In addition, the seams at the side of the plastic are not very sturdy which caused both of them to leak after accidentally being dropped. My girls would have enjoyed this toy much better if it would have had better construction and lasted longer. 3My kiddos can be so entertained by this for a ... My kiddos can be so entertained by this liquid motion bubbler for a long time. We throw it in the bag for church to help keep them calm and quiet. As much as possible anyway :) Even I feel calmer by wabubblerI always wait until I have used an item for at least five days before reviewing it. I also try to come back and update my reviews as needed if something changes with the product and how I liked it. I hope that you find my review helpful when trying to make a decision whether or not to purchase an item.Update.. After nine months of use this still works and looks like new. 5
