    Red means stop, yellow means slow. Green light, green light, go, go, GO!My daughter needed a magic power. Naturally, she needed a wand to go with it. I love the cute little tinkling sound it makes, and the lighted tip is an added bonus. When we approach a red light, my kiddo waves it and chants her stoplight spell. It's a pretty effective stoplight wand. Wouldn't recommend it for turning princes into frogs, though. 5Every kid magician or wizard needs this wand!I bought this for my daughter along with a magician hat and a magic trick set. The magic trick set came with a traditional looking magic wand, but my daughter greatly preferred this one because it makes magical sounds. She plays with this wand and the magic hat more than any of her other magic tricks. The sound is neat, and the button is easy to press. It's loud enough to hear clearly, but not uncomfortably loud. In all, it's the perfect wand and would be a great inclusion in any kid's magic set. 5Fun entertainment for your wizardMy daughter wanted to be a wizard for Halloween and when we saw this wand on Amazon, that's the one she wanted. It came fast (two days regular shipping) and the batteries are included (which is nice since they require 3 button type batteries). She cast spells all over the house the first day and loved the swooshing sound and the red light at the tip (not white like in the photo). After about two hours of play, the button she pushed to make it light up stopped working, and I wondered if she had broken it already, or if the batteries had already worn out. But all I had to do was open the battery compartment, take out the batteries, put them back in, and it worked again. I think there just must have been a loose connection somewhere because now it works fine again. It is a simple plastic wand, sturdy, not fancy, but she likes it. She is really excited to be a wizard with this wand, along with the $2 wizard hat we ordered from Amazon and a cloak she already had. 4Arrived with a defectI purchased 2 of these wands for both of my sons. They arrived today, quick shipping with prime. However, one wand was fine, the other has issues with the button. It seems like the inside of the wand is twisted, so the button has to be pushed very hard & at a certain angle. It will not always light up/swoosh noise, when the button is pressed. Took it apart, tried to fix it & super glue it back..still not easy to use. For the price, I guess you run a risk of getting a defective one. So now there's 2 fighting kids, both wanting the one that works well. Ugh... Just know it might not work right. 2fun for the kidsI have ordered multiples of these because they have been so popular with my little people.My grandkids absolutely love them. (However, I cannot say the same thing for their parents!)The wands do make noise. It isn't very loud, but the kids tend to make the sound over, and over, and over, and over...That said, it is lots of fun for them. 5Better than other onesMy son used this for Halloween, worked great. (His other brand wand had paint that flaked off) This doesn't seem to be painted, or the paint is so good that it doesn't come off. Exactly what I would expect.It makes noise and lights up when waved around. My son loves that.......me, not so much. :/ 5Durable and funI recently got my 3.5 year old son into all things Harry Potter after buying him the Wii Lego Harry Potter game. He had found a dark brown chopstick in the utensil drawer and started swinging it around saying "swish and flick" as well as "wingardium leviosa" so I knew I had to find him a wand. I initially bought him the HP costume kit that included the robe, glasses and wand but the wand was not well received. I then bought the HP wand that lights up and had three different sounds from the movie but it didn't work and it was ugly and did not look like a wand. I saw this one and decided to get it and I couldn't be more pleased. I do wish it was motion controlled instead of having to press the button to make noise but my son doesn't seem to mind. He carries it along with the HP glasses wherever he goes and at night he puts it under his pillow. 5Great toy wand for the priceWe got three of the wands for our triplets for Halloween. Don't get these wands if you want something that looks super fancy and authentic. Do get these wands if you want something durable that will hold up to play by children. They're great for the price. They don't seem like they will break anytime soon. They make a chiming noise (not annoying, even when repeatedly hit by three children simultaneously) and flash blue at the tip when a button on the side is pushed. The blue light is slightly inset in the tip and there is a hole to allow the light to shine out. Our 20-month-olds were able to push the button without a problem. One of the buttons was harder to push than the other two, but that's not too big a deal. Note: they are lighter in color than the photo in the listing appears, as is visible in the photo I am including. 5Son loves itSon absolutely loves this wand! He has been on a Harry potter kick for the past few months and had asked for a wand. Went on eBay and Amazon looking for a simple one because he didn't like how the original wands looked, and wanted one with a light at the end, and made a noise. Great product for for a great price. He uses it in a daily basis - meaning he presses the noise/light button probably 400 times a day (-_-), for the past couple weeks, and unfortunately batteries are still holding up. I will probably just hide it soon. 5So much funBought these wands for my little Harry Potter dress-up kiddos (ages 7 and 4). They make a fabulous sound like a magic wand should, they light up light blue at the tip (cool in the dark on Halloween), and they are just the right size for waving and dueling. They do not look like the fancy carved wands sold in HPWW, but I think the kids prefer these because of their fun sound effects and lights. They are large and plastic, but they do not look as cheap as I'd feared they would. Bottom line, the kids love them and they are perfect for Halloween as well as for playing dress up and wizard duels. 5
