    Skip this itemThe eggs of silly putty were smaller than expected and the putty was not soft. I purchased it to add to a "birthday party goodie bag", but after they arrived decided not to use this item. Hope this is helpful. 1The originalI used this six pack to introduce a new generation of our family to silly putty. The kids loved it, but we adults ended up wanting some of our own. This is just like I remembered it.I purchased this here on Amazon in January of 2015 and paid $9.70 for this six pack. Shipping was free with Amazon Prime. 5I love putty, but it has interesting chemical properties.Price Warning: Normally each egg is $1 at a 99 cent store, but I got to lazy to find one that carries it so I just bought these and paid extra for them to come to me.Quality: Silly Putty is always fun to fidget with. I always have to have something to toy with in my hands or I get kinda tense. I love it because it lasts a really long time and doesn't dry out. If you just leave it it will last 10+ years no problem.Melt Warning: If it comes in to contact with stuff like hand sanitizer, rubbing alcohol, or certain hand lotions it will turn to liquid. I have no idea why, but whatever is in these chemicals it melts the putty permanently.Adhesive Warning: Putty sticks to some types of polyurethane materials. Erasers, certain remote buttons, and rubberized plastics are some examples. If this happens the putty can be melted of with rubbing alcohol as noted above. 5Childhood memoriesForget about the slime craze. My kids just experienced Silly Putty!The amount of putting in each egg was a bit underwhelming in adult hands. But in the hands of kids, it's enough to knead and mold in little hands. Together we were able to make a variety of shapes and objects out of Silly Putty.Silly Putty holds the shape of whatever you mold for a bit of time and not melting back into a puddle as other thinking putties do. To make more precise shapes, you can use scissors and butter knife edge. It does soften more with continued handling and stretchy. But when it cools down, you can easily pull pieces off with a nice clean snap. SIlly Putty doesn't dry out like slime and stays malleable.Modern news print doesn't transfer to the Silly Putty as I remembered, nor does inkjet printed images. Nevertheless hours of fun for current and the next generation. 5Never enough in one egg.Sitting at work with 6 cups of coffee in me, I needed some kind of outlet for my energy. Enter silly putty. Oddly I couldn't find it at any of my local big box stores, so I figured semi-bulk from Amazon is the way to go. Six eggs worth is a good handful. Be nostalgic and not annoy your coworkers with incessant foot tapping. 5Silly Putty is the best - for kids and adultsI've been giving my kids silly putty in their stocking since they were very young - now they are in their 30's and still look forward to it. We used to play "guess what this shape is from" on long car trips - where we'd push the putty into something (i.e. car air vent, stuff on the dashboard, etc.) and they had to guess what it was- perfect way to pass the time on long car rides. 5DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!If I could give a negative star review I would. This was bought for a 72 year old to share with her grandchildren. It was a very small piece of putty no larger that the circumference of a quarter and DID NOT WORK AT ALL! Her 6 year old grandson was so broken hearted and cried because he was told how much fun SP could be. When I checked to see about returning item, it is listed as not returnable. SAVE YOUR MONEY! DO NOT BUY! 1Good quality product, less quantity than I expected though.The quality of the product is what I expected. I purchased it at the request of a physical therapist who wanted her patient to use it for hand physical therapy. There isn't as much silly putty as I expected, but I don't fault the seller for that. I didn't pay as much attention as I should have to the quantity. In the hopes it will be helpful to someone else, I took a picture of the contents of all six eggs being held in my hand. 4very healthy!absolutely essential to mental and emotional health. its squishes, tears, molds, sticks, melts, and more! I use it to cope with emotions and stress and I also use it so I can pay attention to the radio. 5Best stress relief toyI combined all 6 into one giant silly putty. Not only does it bring back memories, but I find the texture and workability of it to be a great stress relief and hand exercising tool. A lot of fun. 5
