best little pillow everI bought this for my baby son who was medically fragile for 9 months, and in three different hospitals. His favorite things in the world was lights and glowing things. We had a million different version of projectors or glowing lights in his hospital room. I bought this for him when he was particularly not doing well anymore. He died two days later, and sadly this pillow was delivered that afternoon, 5 hours after. He never got to use this pillow, or stare at it the way I know he would have wanted to, so instead I use it at night and sleep with it everyday. I turn it on before shutting off the lamps, and it stays on for 30 min. It glows different colors. It is soft and I love it. It is exactly as pictured. 5Great night lite that s a soft pillow.Great little pillow to be as a night light and also soft to be snuggled up with. The lights are quite bright in a completely dark room. Our 5yr old son loved the many different colors it would gradually change to when it was on. It was great to have the shut off after being on for a period of time.The only downfall is that his pillow stopped working after having it for less than 6 months. The wiring came apart from the push button. We found no way to repair it.So it had to be tossed away. 3I love the ideaI love the idea. When it works my daughter loves it. The button is quite difficult to push for my 3 year old. The worse part about is that it shuts off easily. If you move it just right or tap the battery pack it shuts off. I took it apart and tried to find the short but the wiring is so cheap it would need to be completely redone. I was concerned about whether or not the pillow would become hot as a few people mentioned. My son is in a large room with me so the pillow doesn t stay on that frequently or for long durations. One time it stayed on the entire half hour upon shutting off and I felt it to see if it in fact became too hot and it did not. I think if used, in moderation, it would not be a hazardous or dangerous toy. My son loves it. It s super soft and the colors are fabulous popping through the pillow s fabric. Very happy I stumbled upon this little steal!!!!!! 4Very cheaply made...Over all it s cute and it works but it s cheaply made I ordered one and the hanging poop broke /came loss/tore in less then 3 days.It was hanging by my 4 month olds crib he never touched it.Returned ordered another one. The screw was striped and wouldn t go in all the way after needing to put in battery the first timeOrdered another one. The screw to the battery was broken off...I have brought 3 returned 2 and debating if it s worth buying a 4th so I can switch it out and return a 3rd time in hopyto get one that doesn t have a defect. I bought it as a Christmas gift and gave it to my son early and he used it for one night before it broke. We tried to click the light on and it wouldn't turn on so we thought maybe it was the batteries. We changed the batteries and it still wouldn't turn on...so me being curious cut open to see the wiring and the wiring to the on button had torn away from the on button you can click. I really was sad because my little one really enjoyed the pillow for that one night. 2Very cute and relaxing colors.These are very cute and a great decoration. They are super bright and the colors are very vivid and relaxing as they fade to the next color. It does not come with the needed AA battery and when you do put them in it makes the stars heavy and hard, so not good for actually sleeping with. Still very adorable. 4Dangerous!!Bought this as a Christmas present for my daughter. Christmas morning I put three brand new energizer batteries in the pillow and it would not work. All the wires seemed to be connected and nothing looked broken. I came back about 30 min later to get the batteries out of it to use in another toy. The first battery I grabbed was so hot that I dropped it, the other two batteries were also very hot. The battery was so hot it was starting to swell!! Do not buy this! I can t imagine what would have happened if I put it back in the pillow. 1its a great pillow except.....great pillow my daughter is kind of afraid of the dark so this helps a lot to have a light up cuddle buddy that stays lit all night. only reason this is 2 stars is the one fact that they did a horrible job on making sure its fire safe. yes i mean fire safe. i was disappointed when i saw the light had turned off i thought the batteries had died... after 3 days. geez! granted it stays on ALL night but we turn it off in the morning. so being the good mom that i am i had bought extra batteries and went to replace them only to discover the wires had come apart from each other... yay... i get to play electrician today. you know what those wires were held together and covered with?! HOT GLUE!!! Guess what electric currents create?! That's right! HEAT!!! too much heat on a flammable surface creates FIRE!!!! call me a crazy person with an overactive imagination, (i guess that's the price you pay to be a good parent). but isn't it a little cheaper to get a safer more heat/electric proof product than to pay for my new house and belongings because they wanted to save a few pennies per product!? i would gladly pay even $10 more just to know that when i go to replace batteries i don't have to say a prayer of gratitude that i discovered the mistake... can you tell im upset?SO... if you already own a star pillow or intend to buy it. open it up, break out your electrical tape and remove the laughable excuse for a binder and fix it. THEN give it to your kids. 2
