High Quality PuzzledWhite Mountain Puzzles are very high quality. The pieces are a nice size, not too big and not tiny. Be advised that you will need a nice large table to work the 1000 piece puzzle on. Just wished they made a puzzle for every state...hint hint...***UPDATE*** we ordered this puzzle to work on with cousins while staying at their house! It was a fun activity and we worked on it here and there until it was complete. All the pieces were there, they all fit together. This is very nice quality and the subject was great.. 5Less writing on boxOk I love these puzzles because of the large pieces suits my fading eyesight wellMy only complaint is that why do they need to place it's a 1000 piece puzzle and made in USA on the cover edgesIt makes it difficult to see the whole pictureMy suggestion is that they include a large picture of the puzzle inside the box but overall I enjoy putting the pieces together 4Poor Quality from a Good CompanyI have to concur with other reviewers about the quality of the puzzle. First, I own over 40 White Mountain puzzles and have only seen this quality once before. The puzzle pieces are not flat; the edge of each piece seems to be "swollen" and, as a result, they do not fit together. Additionally. the cutting mechanism used to create the grey pieces leaves them extremely "dusty" and your table surface will be filthy. White Mountain should pull from their inventory any of the puzzles made in the same fashion and stick with their flat blue-backed puzzles. 1Fun and interesting to doI really enjoyed doing this puzzle! The quality is good, and the pieces in this one did interlock, so it was easy to work on smaller sections and move them into place. White Mountain must have improved it. It's a keeper that I will do again. I wish there was a larger photo or list to tell what all the places are because there are a few places I don't recognize. 5Well made, precision cut piecesThe puzzle design is attractive, with vibrant colors. The pieces are easy to place together because they are so cleanly cut. They lie flat with no buckling. Because of the size and complexity of the puzzle's patterns, it is very challenging - but that's expected, with a 1,000 piece puzzle. 5Lovely picture, but pieces do not interlockI own three other White Mountain puzzles and love them. However, this one disappointed us. Unlike the three other WM puzzles I own, the pieces for this puzzle do not interlock. There were 4 of us working on it, so we each worked on small sections, which is how my fam always does puzzles. When we went to pick up our little sections and add them to the whole, they all fell completely apart. You cannot, at all, pick up or move any part of this puzzle without it completely falling apart. Very annoying! All the other WH puzzles I own have interlocking pieces - you can pick up big sections and they stay together. If you don't care about the pieces interlocking, it's a lovely puzzle and plenty challenging to put together. 4Pieces do not interlock!I own MANY White Mountain puzzles and found this one very disappointing. First of all, the pieces are NOT interlocking like all other WM puzzles. As another reviewer stated, it makes it impossible to move sections you have completed outside their designated area because they all come apart once you move them. The only 'good' side to this is that it makes taking it apart much easier than all the others (although this is hardly a plus). The other thing I did not like about this one is that the size of the area/picture (note there are many pictures in this) is very deceiving. What looks like it should be 2-3 rows is only 1-2, so that is frustrating. I do many of these 'multi image' puzzles and did not enjoy this one nearly as much as others. I was worried that all the pieces would not be there since when I opened the box, the plastic bag was not heat sealed all the way and some of the pieces were loose in the box, but thankfully all were there. This one's okay, but I think you'd do much better with one with interlocking pieces if that is a feature you prefer... 2DisappointedWe immediately began working on this puzzle and were so disappointed that this puzzle was missing three pieces. We are extremely meticulous about not losing pieces to puzzles. One piece dropped temporarily would be understandable, but three pieces missing could not have happened, especially since one of them would have been very obvious to locate. Just wanted to express our disappointment. We are frequent Amazon customers and have never before been disappointed with a purchase. 3Fun and interesting - -Quite an interesting and delightful, fun puzzle, the theme consisting mostly of old postcards and photos from various locations, many national parks, etc. This puzzle was of good quality for White Mountain with only a few pieces having bends or damage. The pieces fit together quite well. No weird or odd shaped pieces either, just normal type.Not a hard puzzle to put together, but not overly easy either.This puzzle measures 24" by 30", so the pieces are a bit bigger than the usual 1000 piece puzzle. The puzzle has exactly 1000 total pieces. This puzzle is a "keeper" and will be redone many times. 5Americana White Mountain puzzleSo I actually loved doing the puzzle. It took me 1 day to get it done. It was easy but very enjoyable for me. What I didn't like is the pieces NOT interlocking well. I've tried to move it around my felt pad and it's falling apart. I have on felt and need a friend to help flip it so I can glue to hang on my garage wall. I did like the large pieces, but it took up my entire table when I laid it all out. I even had to stack some pieces until I had enough room. It's very large in overall size, 24x30. I also wish there was just a photo of the puzzle in the box. The ads on the box cover some of the photo, so you are guessing. I agree with other reviews. I do puzzles all the time. This is fun and great lesson for kids. I am going to buy another White Mountain puzzle now. 4
