    Very cuteI agree with the rest of the reviews. It is really small and I wish there was a better way of holding the items in the basket without the cheap plastic molds that are not going to last long. It is very pretty though and more "grown up" for my 10 year old. 4Adorable special occasion setThis tea set delighted my granddaughter. It is exactly as pictured. The napkins were a nice touch.Pros: great price, plenty of pieces, well made. The basket is a great size for small hands.Cons: I can't see the plastic insert that holds the breakable dishes and keeps them in place in the basket lasting very long. Without the insert, the basket will need to be repurposed as the dishes will break rattling around in the basket.As an online shopper I rely heavily on reviews left by others when trying to decide what to buy so I try to leave useful reviews for those products that I feel strongly about. How on earth...save yourself the trouble, do not buy. 1cute tea setbought for my granddaugher and she plays with it every time she visits. it is glass and at first I was not sure about that but it is pretty sturdy. if you dropped it on concrete or something like that it would probably break it is pretty sturdy. 5Very adorable but very smallThis tea set/picnic basket is darling. It can be used with real tea, sugar, cream, and small treats (VERY small). Unfortunately, my only complaint is it was MUCH smaller than I anticipated. It looked larger in the advertisement pics (why I included pics of mine in this review) and my hands are VERY small (ring size 4 1/2), so the cups, saucers, and additional accompaniments barely hold even kid sized treats. We use tea sets with my daughters small play ovens, since the treats are super tiny, but even those are large with this set. 4Cute Item, But Not NewI received a returned item that had gouges in the box wrapper that surrounds the basket and tape pulled up from the inside plastic tray that holds the pieces, some of which were missing. The basket seems sturdy enough for display and easy play but will break if carried around a lot. The tea set is very tiny, but that's not really an issue - it is a playset and I like the authenticity of the porcelain versus plastic. This would be perfect for those who collect porcelain dolls for display and I do believe that it is a fine set for a child who takes care of their toys. The description says it is for 8+ and I should have listened. To begin, every thing is TINY. So basically it's tea for baby dolls. There is zero padding in the basket so the pieces all clang around while being carried. Also, the basket and napkins had a terrible smell when it was first opened. Our two year old loves to throw these around and so the pieces are chipped after 3 days of play. For us, this was a terrible purchase. I'd say skip this unless your kids are a bit older. 3
