    Very Pleased!!My wife's 76th birthdsay. We had given one of our great-grand daughters a Raggedy Ann Doll (purchased at Amazon) and Nancy was saying how much she enjoyed Raggedy as a child and that it would look nice to have one that we could display. Nancy also mentioned Raggedy Andy. I bought them both for her birthday. They have a hanger on the back. It was the perfect gift. I guess we never get old. She loves her doll and she carries it with her all over the house and sleeps with her at night. Each one of my girls and granddaughters has a Raggedy Ann doll, so we just carried on the tradition with the 3rd generation. 5Perfect size for sitting on a bed or for tea parties...This Raggedy Ann doll is really cute, but the doll in real life does not fully represent the doll in the picture, so that is why I am only rating it 4 stars. Her hair looks a bit different; you may find that it is a bit more tousled than what is shown in the picture. Still, I don't think that anyone would be disappointed if they purchased this doll. I wasn't. I really love her and she looks very cute sitting in a chair. I purchased this size of Raggedy Ann doll because when I was a little girl, I always wanted to have a large Raggedy Ann doll. And while she may not be the exact same Raggedy Ann doll that I remember as a little girl, she is still is close and has the same cute little face and triangle nose that makes her so endearing. This size of Raggedy Ann doll is the perfect size for sitting on a bed or for tea parties. I am sure that any little girl, young or old would be delighted to receive her as a gift. 4Classic Toy for Little Girls! High quality!I ordered this doll for my daughter, as I remember having a very well loved raggedy Anne doll as a little girl. I was so pleased with the quality of this product, even with the great price. The materials of the doll and its clothing appear to be solid and it has good stitching. The embroidery across the doll's apron is well done and doesn't appear shoddy. The hair is, of course, yarn, but is a quality yarn. The pieces/markings on the face look great and don't look like they'll fall off. I was so happy to see that Raggedy Anne is still around and that my daughter can play with it! 5This is the real thing!My best friend was feeling very sad after the death of her mother. In passing conversation, she had mentioned what a comfort her Raggedy Ann doll had been when she was a little girl. Her mom had given it to her as a Christmas present one year. She had loved the soft body, yarn hair and cute clothes but what she remembered most of all was the embroidered "I love you" heart. She had literally loved her doll to pieces and said to me then that someday, if she could manage to find one, she would buy it for herself. I was determined to make "someday" into "now". I began my search here on Amazon, I was worried about how much I might have to pay to buy an authentic Raggedy Ann. I was delighted when I stumbled upon Aurora World's doll. It was exactly what I wanted and the price was so reasonable! I was actually a little stunned when the doll arrived - VERY quickly, I might add - and it was far beyond what I expected in quality. It really is a beautifully made doll. Needless to say, my friend was thrilled when I gave it to her... and cried in deeply touched joy when she saw the sweet embroidered "I love you!" It is so hard to find this level of quality anymore AND not to have to pay a small fortune for it. I would recommend this doll to anyone, whether it is a nostalgic gift for an adult or a huggable soft friend for a child! 5I guess they don't make Raggedy Ann like they used tooWell, I am remembering the great Raggedy Ann doll that I had when I was about 10 years old, that I had also passed down to my kids (but had unfortunately fell on the fate of our dogs). It was large, sturdy, and seemed to be made better than this doll. The hair on this doll is very stringy, if it weren't for the head being colored red, there would be very little hair on the back. The clothing doesn't seem to be very well made. I do have to say that the 'I Love You' heart is embroidered and not just stamped, that's why this rated a 3 star instead of less. Good thing this doll is just going to sit in my craft room and not belong to a child because it would fall apart way too soon. 3Children enjoy dressing and undressing their dollsCute toy but such a shame the clothes are all stitched on. Children enjoy dressing and undressing their dolls. When I was young I particularly remember that the Raggedy Ann and Andy Dolls had Hearts on their chests when your removed their clothes. Why not bring those old fashioned dolls back? Much more fun for our children and grandchildren and even if they are a little more expensive to manufacture they are worth the price. 4MY DOLLY IS BACK HOMEI have a really strong attachment to this doll which was destroyed when I was a child. She was my first dolly and I wept over that doll for a very long time you have no idea. One day very recently now as an adult it just dawned on me to check and see whether she was available or not. I figured she wasn't because I haven't seen a Raggedy Ann on the shelves in years. How surprised I was to find her! And I debated you know whether I should be doing something so silly as buying myself a doll at this age, but I said what the heck? This doll meant so much to me as a child and look at how I still remember her after all these years and all I remember is my sadness at her loss, not the happiness she gave me all the years I had her. So, why not? Well, it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. When she arrived it felt like the first time she was given to me and I somehow felt healed. Thank you so much for still making this doll. Seeing her reminds me of simpler, happier times, and those happy memories sustain me now during times that are not as pleasant. 5An adorable classic Raggedy Ann doll!I was delighted when my Raggedy Ann doll arrived! It appears to be well made, with no loose threads or careless seams. I was particularly impressed that the features (except for the black buttons for the eyes, which are very firmly attached) are all embroidered. The eyebrows, whites of the eyes, lashes, nose, mouth, the "I love you" heart on her chest and her name on the apron are all embroidered flawlessly. As I recall, the Raggedy Ann I got in the 1960s,as a child, had the features stamped on. The embroidery is such a lovely detail. She is about 12 inches tall. If you have trouble imagining what 12 inches looks like, do get out a ruler. This is a small doll, but not over-small. Very nice for a small child or a collector. Her body is quite soft and "huggable" with the head slightly firmer. The yarn hair is generous.The apron is tacked to the dress with a couple of stitches at the shoulders. The dress can be removed, but the bloomers are stitched to the body. The tag indicates this doll is surface washable. I got this when it was on sale and it was an absolute steal. Very happy with this doll! 5These dolls would make a great gift for children or any teens/adults who like Raggedy ...I've never had a Raggedy Ann doll (or book for that matter), until now. I'm in my 40s, so I suppose it is never too late. I purchase Andy to pair with this cute doll. The dolls are well tailored and the colors appear similar to the website. These dolls would make a great gift for children or any teens/adults who like Raggedy Ann and Andy. 5
