Calico critters are my favorite toys to buy for my kidsThe little blue rubber bands are seatbelts, don t throw them away! (Like I did...) My daughter loves this little van, it s so cute and fits a lot of little critters at once. And you can take the seats out and make it a little camper van with the stove and table. Too cute. Calico critters are my favorite toys to buy for my kids. They sometimes go on sale, but not often, so jump on it when they do! 5A very good car for a growing family.The rabbit family hasn't discovered contraception yet, so they needed a bigger car to fit all their little bunnies. You can easily fit up to 8 calicos in there, and the car seats for the babies are very cute, with a little blue belt to keep them safe. My daughter likes that the 2 back seats are adjustable and sometimes she removes them altogether and pretends the car is a moving van for Grandpa Bunny's antique furniture delivery business. Oh, the joy of being a 4 year old. 5Super cute. Super expensive.I drank the Calico Critter Koolaid. I promised myself I wouldn't...but I did. I bought this adorable camper along with the seven passenger van for our six year old this summer, and she's been playing with it almost non-stop. It has super cute details and accessories. Is it expensive? Absolutely. Like really expensive. But I decided that rather than pay for my daughter's college education I would purchase her these toys. Who needs an education when she can be a YouTube star one day?! 4DisappointedOur car didn t come with any picnic accessories, pull out table or baby seat. It is advertised that it should. Is this a knock off? Very disappointed.***Update 12/26/17I wrote Epoch Everlasting and they said this: Thank you for your interest in Epoch Everlasting Play and the Calico Critters. We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your Cherry Cruiser. The current Calico Car no longer includes an accessory pack or picnic table. Both versions of the Car may be available for purchase for a limited time, depending on what region you are shopping in. However, the version without the accessories is the only one being distributed at this time. Very sad that they down-graded their product. 1Cute but the stickers are a painThe bus is cute but trying to apply the very tiny stickers such as little bitty headlights into a tiny depression is not what I'd consider fun at all. Sure, putting some on the side of the bus is a little fun but most have to fit into a molded indent and it is only possible with the help of tweezers or a very steady hand and fingernails. For the price I think they could have sent it with stickers attached or painted on. 3Cute CamperI am so glad that we purchased this calico critter camper for my daughter. It is really cute!Pros: I like that it swings out and the side that swings out is a huge kitchen. My daughter was 3 when we gave it to her and she just loved all the little pieces. We had 3 critters already and so she loved to have little sleepovers with them since they had the sleeping mats. The bathroom part is another one of her favorite things about the camper. It also has a secret compartment in the ground.Cons: The hinge on the camper comes off time to time. If you have really rough child then it might break. It is rather big and the shape is a little weird. You would have to find a big box to store your camper in when your child is done playing with it.My daughter loves playing with her camper! 5DisappointedI purchased this for my 3 and 4 year old granddaughters not realizing that the car did not come with the critters. Shortly after I purchased the Critter Family for the Car.After only 1 week playing with the car the door snapped off entirely. Given the price of the car, close to $40.00) it should have lasted longer than a week.Very Disappointed. It does not stand up well to normal child play.Hopefully the manufacturer will respond. 1Highly recommend!Super cute! Got this for my 4 year daughter who loves calico critters, especially the babies, and it did not disappoint. She plays with it every day! It s good quality, cute stickers and design, and my favorite part is that it s not just a bus but also a slide, stairs, pool and seesaw. I ve shown pics of it with the calico critter babies to show the size. I also show some of the calico critter kids to show how they fit, which is ok but not super well. The only place an adult can fit is in the driver seat. 5Hours of Fun...Works with CamperInitially, I ordered the cherry cruiser to go with the caravan family camper. The cruiser is a well-made vehicle. At first I didn't think the cherry cruiser would pull the camper since there is a slot underneath it, but nothing on the camper that fit into it. I was disappointed and decided to order the convertible coupe as well. After all, what good is a camper without a vehicle to pull it? After the coupe arrived I didn't find any slot underneath that looked like it would hook to the camper so I investigated further. After taking out all of the little pieces from the bag that came with the camper, I found a part that fits over the back license plate of the cherry cruiser as well as the green convertible coupe. I should have first looked at the directions that came with the camper before ordering the coupe (also well-made) thinking the cherry cruiser would not pull the camper. I'm sure my granddaughter, however, will be delighted to play with two vehicles to transport her critter families. 5No accessories! Buyer beware!Very disappointing. Like other recent reviewers, we received no accessories. And try as I might, I can't get a picnic table to slide out from the license plate. When I shake the car, I don't hear anything rattling, so I don't think there are any pieces tucked away that I can't get to. The car itself is nice enough, but I definitely wouldn't have paid this price for *just* a car. The listing no longer mentions any food included (I'm sure when I was looking at it, those accessories were still listed), so they seem to have corrected the listing at least somewhat. But it seems that now there are NO ACCESSORIES at all, not even the table and baby seat. Disappointing.UPDATE: I purchased this at a brick and mortar store today, (about $7 more) to make a comparison at home. Pictures on the two boxes are different (Amazon box shows no accessories, brick and mortar box pictures the table, baby seat, trays, and small food items). Car I bought in person includes everything pictured, and Amazon car includes NOTHING, not even the couple of accessories that are STILL listed in the description. Clearly they sell two different versions of this car and Amazon description is inaccurate (and deceptive). If the accessories are important to you, buy from a brick and mortar store so you can be sure what you are getting. I have to decide now which to return. (And FYI, the picnic table pulls out easily. If you are having to work at it, your car didn't come with one!) 1
