Easy to useThe best part of this track is that it does not require batteries. We bought this to replace another mini track which requires batteries and was difficult to work with the trains jamming up. This track is just as much fun but has an easy to use hand crank and the lever that switches which track the trains are on. It is easy to switch back and forth between the tracks. My son loves to use his super hero trains on this track as well as other random mini trains. He doesn't seem to understand it is a bat cave. But he is only three and not overly familiar with all things batman. He does like playing with this track every day. Not wanting something as big as the "super station", I went with this item - in case he lost interest, I wouldn't be stuck with something huge and expensive. I'm convinced less is more, as he loves this set. Both my 5 and 3 yr olds sit around it with their trains and crank them up the spiral ramp. It doesn't fall a part when played with and it doesn't require batteries which I love. The trains go upside down when on the yellow strips of track, my kids thought that was cool. All in all, very happy with this inexpensive yet fun toy. 5Fun but gear was stripped that spins the trains up the center.My son got this as a gift and enjoyed playing with his new mini trains on it. Was not to difficult to quickly put together but we could not completely latch the top piece on because when we did the center peg made a horrible stripping sound and wouldn't turn. We had to leave the top hanging off in order for the center to actually spin the trains up. Was still fun for him at first but I don't think he's played with it since getting for Christmas. 4Cute batman Thomas the train toyI purchased this as a gift for my two-year-old son who loves Thomas the Train. He also loves Batman so that was a definite plus. The trains are very small so I would not recommend this product for young children as they could choke on the pieces. The trains are very cute but the set only comes with two so I would recommend to buy more. The track is flimsy and seems like it would be easy to break. However it works just as described and my son plays with it a lot. 3My 3yr old loves that he can finally do something ...My 3yr old loves that he can finally do something with all the mini trains that he has. It does catch a lot and gets jammed up, but he learned quickly to wiggle the little spinner a few times back and forth and he's back in action. It's totally worth the $12 that I spent on it. Full price, not so much. 4This is an amazing toy to use for my speech language therapy groupsThis is an amazing toy to use for my speech language therapy groups. My students "work" towards earning the mini thomas the trains and have a BLAST playing with the toy at the end of our sessions. It was easy to assemble and my students LOVE anything Thomas/Batman. Home run toy! 5great giftMy nephew saw this toy at a friends house so I decided to get it for him for his birthday. He loves it, but the one I got his brother takes batteries and just runs itself. This one has a crank so there is a manual component to it. Had I known or realized I probably would have switched who got which ones. I bought the extra trains for these but didn't really need them as it comes with a good number of trains! The kiddos love that they can change how it goes at the top. Sometimes the trains get stuck on the lift and it makes a grinding noise, just have to put the trains back and then keep going and it will be fine! 4Entertaining and funMy kids loved this track. It makes the trains go upside down! I didn t know this until I built it which I had to do without instructions since they weren t included. It also has a corkscrew elevator that effectively moves the trains from the bottom to the top. The trains are small so I wouldn t recommend for children younger than 3 or 4. 5Item Defective!Item defective! I tried to return but didn t make it to the UPS store in time. I ordered this for Christmas and went to put it together a few days before X-mad eve and there were two of the same ramp pieces so the trains couldn t go down the track. I called Fisher Price to replace but they were out of the piece I needed to make the track be in one piece. I m sad it didn t work out! 1
