    Quality DiceThese are great quality dice. The wood is sanded nicely so it doesn't feel rough and i'm not afraid of getting a splinter.These are quite loud if you roll these on hard surfaces. I would recommend rolling them on grass or a soft surface only. They had numerous significant cracks. The dots were burned on, but done very poorly (some deep and some barely visible).I had bought them as part of a Christmas gift for an uncle who collects dice, but there was no way I'd give him these, so I returned them. Totally ruined my plans for him. I contemplated pulling out my tools and trying to fix them, but them realized it would be close to the same amount of work for me to just make them myself.*I had photos of just how bad these were, but I guess I deleted them after they were returned.* 1I recommendI researched yard dice for a while and finally decided to purchase these. The seller forgot to add the laminated score sheets but when I emailed them, they quickly sent them to me with no additional shipping charges (thank you). They came with a bag but I found this cute wire trash can to show them off in. Once a they re all in a bucket, they re pretty heavy so you can t really shake them like I had envisioned so we dump the first round and then we pick up the dice and roll the next two by hand. It works. It was fun! I gave four stars because at least one of my dice didn t match the others, as far as which number was on what side. It wasn t a big deal to us but they weren t perfect. 4Perfect family giftLoved all of it! beautiful sanded blocks with indents for the dots, looked wood burned. 2 game cards and 1 instruction card, all laminated. In a great bag with draw strings. I did take them and put a coat of matte spray sealer so the grass didn't stain them. I did find it easier to download full size sheets for scoring off the internet. Easily found on Pinterestor google it. I do lots of crafting and woodworking. Priced out making my own from a 4 x 4 cedar post. Then there's the sanding and wood burning. Much better value of my time and money to purchase this set. 5lawn diceBought these for m daughters nephews for christmas. They are 3 boys, 4, 9 and 12. Mostly they are into electronics and I was really trying to find something that was NOT electronic. Not to mention they have everything any child could ever dream of. So, I fell upon these. I added a book of family dice games. Apparently the boys do play with them outside - which was the plan. They have a small grassy area in their backyard of Arizona. The blocks were well made, smooth, no sharp edges and nice, large size - about 4" x4" as I recall. I do remember measuring and it was accurate to what was advertised. I liked that they came with a nice drawstring bag to store them too. I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. 5Fun, fun, funPerfect. Exactly what I was looking for.I lost both games, miserably...Don't buy the expensive laminated directions and scorecard sold elsewhere. This set comes with them.Nice quality wood.No sharp edges. Nicely finished.The "branded" dots aren't very deep and are already (one game) showing signs of wear.They aren't finished with anything.They now have fingerprints all over them that won't clean off.I'm sure if we'd played on grass they'd be all green - permanently.We played in a 6x8 exterior carpet we put down on our cement patio for the game.I suggest carpet (or maybe cardboard - like a freezer box) to keep from dinging or dingying them up.In cement, they get all beat up. On grass, I think they'd be all free.I don't think they would work at the beach (wouldn't land flat).If I ever get another set, I'd seal them with some kind if wood sealer when new.Get a two gallon (white) bucket in the paint department of your favorite hardware or paint store.Use it as the cup to pour them out, 5Great ideaThese are wonderful! We love Farkle. Our kids have a big backyard with pool so lots of friends around often. Everyone love games so this should be a hit. Wish it came with a score pad. We bought a plastic bucket so the dice can be shaken. My ONLY complaint is that they aren t varnished. If you re going to be playing outdoors it seems like varnish would be a no brainer. I ll probably varnish them before we give them. 4Absolutely 1st Rate!OMGoodness, these yard dice are fantastic. Buy these! They are beautifully crafted, and the heavy duty storage bag is a bingo bonus. After pondering the idea of making my own set of dice, as well as comparing the crazy differences in prices of these online, I am so very very glad that I wisely decided to buy this set. Most sets offered for sale online include 5 dice, so the extra neat thing about this set is that it has 6 dice. Great price. Great quality. We can't wait for the mud season to come and go on our Montana ranch so that we break out the dice for some serious YardZee. YeeHaw!!! 5Awesome for fun and decor!These 3.5" dice are super cute! I first got 2.5", but they didn't quite make the "giant dice" impression. These look great with smooth edges (less likely to sing up) and burned dots. You can hold all 6 stacked just fine, but I'll likely pick up a 10" bucket for games. They come unfinished, so you can stain/finish them however you like to protect them from water/dirt/grass stains. I like the natural look, so I used natural Minwax Finishing Wax. (Just use a cloth or old t-shirt to wipe it on, and then buff it like shoe polish.) Some sides look a little darker when the wax is first applied, but it lightens up just fine. (See pics. Waxed die in front of the can.) 5Not all included! Missing pieces. Edit EXCELLENT Customer ServiceThe dice look very well made. But the order was not complete. Item description says **Now comes with Yardzee and Yard Farkle laminated scoresheets!!** . Scoresheets were not included. Returned to order to get a complete set.Edit: Contacted YardGames and the immediately sent out the score cards. Mix up with older sets on hand at Amazon caused the failure of the scorecards being missing. Excellent set of dice and well made. I am using some wipe on poly to seal the wood to make them last a bit longer. 5
