Great for fine-scale and electronics workVery easy to use and wear. Lot's of magnification options.I use these for electronics and fine scale modeling work. The LED light is bright and can be aimed very specifically. Also, the lenses can be moved forward or backward to assist with focus and work with your glasses if required. 5Great item that really works!Great item! I wanted light on object and to be able to see what I was doing. These glasses do that. They fit well; I did not use the strap. Gave 4 stars as they are a bit heavy on my nose. Ordered a pr for my brother who is having a problem with his eyesight and they work well for him. 4These work great! But it's a little heavy and the nose ...These work great! But it's a little heavy and the nose piece is not very soft. After an hour my neck started to hurt and nose bridge had indentions after taking them off. Also the interchangeable magnifying lenses are fragile. Don't drop them!! I've broken two already!! And both lenses broke where they are supposed to attach to the head mount. So looks like I'll need to purchase a different magnifying head mount with lamp that is lighter and without a nose piece. Overall works great just not very comfortable. 3Good for about 1-2 months. Better off to put these on subscribe and save These are awesome! ... for about 2 months.I ordered my first pair in October of 2018. The broke quickly but were cheap enough that I ordered another pair. To my dismay, this next pair lasted not even a month.It is July 2019 and I m about to order a 4th pair... the hinges brake and when they do there is no fixing them. I certainly attempted to fix them myself but the issue is a small plastic piece that pops off and completely brakes, leaving you with the only option to tape the side pieces together- they will not hold tight on your face if it s an average size - oh, and.... you ll never be able to fold them neatly again for tidy storage think taped side hinges and constantly pushing up Of the nose piece 2Works well.This was a great purchase. I've had a few magnifiers like this before with a wider field of view but on this one, the LED light works well and is aimable at the work.This only has one lens mounted at a time. I'm so happy I purchased this! 5THE Magnifier Kit for Hobbyists Dealing with Mid-Life Eye Focus IssuesI've been a electronics, R/C and plastic model hobbyist my whole life. Now that my kids are getting of an age where they are interested in such things, I'm actually getting back into all sorts of fun new extensions of those hobbies including 3D Printing, teaching them soldering and embedded board development (seriously, the unrelated AdaFruit Circuit Playground is a brilliant little all-in-one arduino experimenters kit).Unfortunately, my 40-something eyes are starting to show their age and I've been having a harder and harder time focussing on small print/items even with bifocals in my glasses (I'm also already near-sighted). I'd tried several different magnifier solutions from clip-on loops to the classic "welders helmet" style lens visor and find these to be the best solution for multiple uses.The build quality is decent for the prices and the money has been spent well just for the optics kit this comes with. I also really like the head band option as I can put these OVER my regular eyeglasses and easily flip them up and down for switching between general and magnified viewing.The light itself is very bright, with too strong LEDs that can be adjusted up and down for getting a good target on your working surface.Given the range of magnification, I've yet to have an issue seeing things from fine print to extremely small electronics and model components. I've even used the lowest magnification set in my inexpensive R/C quadcopter's FPV goggles to help adjust the default viewing magnification and they work great for that too.Pros:- Solid range of magnification- Well-made acrylic lenses and a study carrying box for the lens sets- Bright, adjustable angle LED lighting- Light weight! You don't feel like you have a massive apparatus attached to your head- Head strap and adjustable nose piece let you still wear them with normal glasses/eyewearCons:- The forehead band is a bit under-designed and can get sweaty, I solved this by putting a cut-to-fit piece of adhesive felt like what's used for shoe/foot padding. Keeps your skin from getting scraped up and absorbs sweat- While the lenses come with a case, the whole device is lacking one, I've taken to using the original box as a storage case, but it's cardboard and vacu-formed plastic insert, not particularly sturdy, but for this price, I'm not complaining too much- Use of small, hearing-aid style batteries... It's a trade off for lightness vs. slapping in a pair of AAA batteries. Given that the LEDs sip power, it's not that big of a deal, but would have been nice if they'd used something a little more standard like the CR-xxxx style coin cells. 5AwesomeI am an esthetician. I can see very well, but sometimes when I do extraction I need to see more in detail what I have on the skin. I was using the magnifying glass from the lamp and that works great for one side of the face but I constantly had to adjust as I was moving around the face. I was actually looking for professional expensive magnifiers and I just happen to find this. For the money, it was totally worth trying . Unbelievable!!! They work great, I can see everything and my clients are very happy. The price is what shocked me. Very good quality for the price. I had them for two months now and I use them every day with no problem. 5
