Customer Reviews

It's a flopI wanted to love this game, but it's a flop. Each game lasted less than 5 minutes. For example, a player is out if they "cannot continue" due to they cannot do all the items on their cards that are required. All my cards had physical stuff I was supposed to be doing, but unless I have another arm I couldn't be completing all of them. (Example, both arms were utilized, so I had no way to draw cards, but had a card saying I needed to hold my cards a certain way.) Also, the instructions have some really unclear parts, so we had to make our own rules. Honestly I was not impressed at all, and my group of friends said "This game stinks, lets play something else." 1This game is fun! It definitely requires some extra learning thoughThis game is fun! It definitely requires some extra learning though. It took us a round or two to figure out how to play as the directions arent very concise. It gets harder and harder as you play because you have to (for example) keep your wrists touching and then you get a card saying you have to put one hand on the shoulder of another player. And then you might have to stay that way the whole game. It can be very exhausting! 5Fantastic, great-value adult (ADULT) party gameJust got done playing this game with family over the weekend, and we had a blast!GAMEPLAYThis game is reminiscent of Go Fish ... sort of. It consists solely of a deck of cards, and you do want to remember the cards that other players have mentioned so that you can make pairs with them. Unlike Go Fish though, pairs are bad. If you match one of your cards with another player, the matched cards become the property of the other player, and the other player is required to do the tasks on the matched cards.People are "out" when they fail to perform the tasks on their matched cards/sets of matched cards, either because it's impossible (sit down/stand up, for example), or because they have a bunch of pairs and forget to do the task listed on one of the pairs. The last person who isn't "out" is the winner, unless by some miracle you get through the entire deck with more than one person who isn't out (in which case you have multiple winners). We did have a point of confusion about gameplay. The instructions seem to indicate that a pair can consist of only a blue and an orange card, but you aren't supposed to ask other people about the color of their cards. So if I ask another player if they have a match for my bunghole card, but their card is blue and my card is blue, they end up with two blue bunghole cards. Because both cards are blue though, it isn't a match and they don't have to do the tasks. We played it this way -- only matching between orange and blue, and not asking about colors -- but it might be interesting to try it with name-matching alone or by including the color when asking other players if they have a match. Even with six players, we didn't make it through more than half the deck before we only had one person who wasn't "out", so anything that gets us through more of the cards would be good.WARNINGSI agree with the "17+" designation printed on the package. While there's nothing blatantly pornographic/sexually obscene about any of the cards (unlike the "Big Black Dildo" card in Cards Against Humanity, for example), the names of almost all of the cards are at least hinting at sexual things. Some of the innuendo might fly right over the heads of little kids, but I wouldn't want to explain to a 6-year-old why all of the adults are laughing hysterically about a "Master Baiter."Thankfully, none of the "tasks" the cards have on them are sexually obscene either. Most of them are simple (sit down, stand up, keep your knees open, touch another player) but become infinitely more complex, or occasionally impossible, when paired with other cards. For example, multiple family members were required to hop/waddle around the table with their knees spread apart and their heels touching so that they could either tap every other player on the head OR touch all four corners of the table. It's also pretty funny to watch other players try to handle their cards with just their middle fingers, or with whatever appendage is available to them while they keep one hand in their pocket and one hand on their rear ("leaky bunghole"). 5An awesome addition to our adult game night fun! Absolutely hilarious!I ordered Go Fish Yourself because I am a huge fan of Cards Against Humanity and Exploding Kittens (adult version). I read through the reviews and looked at the examples of cards and thought this would be a great addition to our adult games nights. I was not disappointed! This game was a ton of fun. We played first with just my husband and myself. Even with just the 2 of us, we had fun. We laughed so much! Then we took it to my brother's house for our adult game night. There was 6 of us that time. We had a blast. It was even more fun with more people. We laughed so hard and so much. It was a perfect fit with our twisted sense of humor. Playing cards against other players kept the game moving quickly. It also kept the game from getting stagnant. We played where you shuffle the cards back in once a player is out (just because we had so many players). This game is very easy to learn no matter your experience with similar games. It is really easy and fun to play. The game can be over quickly or it can keep going, it really just depends on how you play. The description is very accurate; A wickedly fun, grown-up version of Go Fish for fun people who like a challenge and sabotaging friends.Instead of hoarding boring cards, force other players to make pairs. Each pair comes with a set of ridiculous rules. If players can't follow the rules, they are out. Can you stay in the game? As pairs pile up, so do the shenanigans as players get creative to stay in the game. There are 54 cards packed with off-the-wall challenges, fishy puns and nautical nonsense (rules included). It is recommended that you have 2 - 6 players. We are planning on buying another deck so that we can have more cards so we can accommodate more players. We know it means we will have to alter the rules some too, but we do that all the time with these type of games. We love to play the first time or first few times the way it is supposed to be and then make house rules to play by. 5Have a blast! This game is a fun and enjoyable twist on Go Fish. Since purchasing, I've included this game on game nights with friends. We have a great time playing it and always end up laughing like crazy. I can say that this game doesn't get old; I'll keep this one in the rotation as the fun and laughs hasn't failed to disappoint. I like that the rounds can go quickly so the game doesn't feel drawn out. No one gets bored waiting for the game to finish. The amount of fun this game provides and the low price make it a must buy! Check it out! 5Funniest Game EverI purchased this to throw in my backpack and take to conferences. In the evenings, my friends and I usually look for something to do. This game was perfect. It involved a lot of laughter, pirate talk, and goofy rules. The rounds play fast and can be easily played anywhere. After a practice round, we took off and ended up playing several rounds. This game is the size of a normal deck of cards - aka pocket sized - and it's easy to learn. The age group says 17+ and that's about right. This game is not for kids. You'll ask for things like a spotty dick, leaky bunghole, rigid rod, big ol' booty, and so forth. So if you are looking for a stupid adult game, take a chance on this one! 5Fun even with just two players! This game is a great twist on the classic card game "Go Fish". My husband and I are always looking for great games for two players since most require 3 or more. This product caught my attention when I was looking for Easter goodies. I thought why not? Decent price and good reviews, little risk. Great decision! The concept is easy and so are the tasks until you have three or four you have to do simultaneously! Even with just two players, this game is hilarious! The rules are not complicated and it took almost no time to learn. I couldn't stop laughing when my husband had to hold his cards with socked hands while keeping his elbow in contact with his leg! I can't wait to show our friends this game at our next game night. I don't think they'll be disappointed either. 5I wanted to love this gameI wanted to love this game. I bought this thinking it might be a fun game for me and my husband to play on our upcoming vacation. Unfortunately, it isn't a great game for two people and the rules were rather dumb, in our opinion. It might be more fun for a larger group or for teenagers. Not recommended for adult couples. 2Fun but hard to play in a small group or ...Fun but hard to play in a small group or around a table (having to lock arms, place hand on shoulder of another person). There has to be more funny stuff you can without having to touch another player "...if you know what I mean." The loose lips and scurvy cards are great. Having to place your cards in the draw pile when you go out of them reduces the variety of things players have to do during the game. Maybe just place your unmatched cards into the draw pile. I doubt that more than player could ever win by reducing the draw pile to zero. Great adult game but could definitely be tweaked to be more fun and wild. Looking forward to seeing the expansions. 4Fun game. Beware that you have to play with ...Fun game. Beware that you have to play with people that aren't adverse to being silly. It gets silly very quickly. Also, we played with 4 people and felt that we really needed more people as each hand was only lasting about 10 minutes before the physical challenges were, well physically impossible. For example, I had to keep my foot on the couch, hold my nose with one hand, not hold my cards with my hands and keep my shoulder in contact with someone else. 4
