    Wonderful Watering Can for Little HandsA great little watering can for little hands. As a childcare provider I search for items made with quality, performance, and practical function for the little people in my charge. These are a real hit! Yes, they are small so one needs to refill them several time for the little gardeners, but the children enjoy using these so much that I do not mind refilling again and again. The watering cans help children learn in multiple ways. Carefully carrying the watering can so that water does not spill out, how to pour the water over the plants, among other aspects. The fact that they are extremely durable due to construction of recycled materials is a bonus. A definite yes in my book! 5Sturdy watering can and garden tools!Bought this for my 3 year old to play outside with... she has used and abused the poor thing, and it has washed up wonderfully. The brand Green Toys has impressed me with their high quality, sturdy products. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a kids tool/watering can set. The Melissa and Doug watering can only lasted half a summer before my kids dropped it and it snapped. This is going to last us a long time. 5Great quality of recycle plastic, but poor ergonomics for childrenHave you actually tried to use the watering can? Has your child tried to use it? The handle is disproportionate to actual success of watering. Basically if your child is 1-5 years old, the water will aim straight down touching the ground. Because of the handle design, it's weight is way off and leveraged to fall forward. So where the rope is on top should be a perpendicular plastic handle like an actual adult style watering jug. I'll fill it up and my child will dump the jug, the water will come out the top hole first. The idea behind made in usa and recycled plastic is good. The rest of the execution in actual use is poor. I can't believe it's rated this high. 1Made in the USA!I was searching for a durable watering can for my toddlers to help water our garden. These are perfect! Sturdy plastic (we live in a very humid climate, so rust is a big issue with metal), good size for little ones and they sprinkle nicely. The rope handle on top is good for kids to hold while filling and carrying, the plastic handle is a good angle for watering. My kiddos love them - the garden tools were just a bonus. I also loved that the packaging is made entirely of recyclable cardboard (no plastic packaging!!!). 5Wonderful little toyThis watering can is great for little ones. My husband fills it with water and lets the kids carry it around the pool deck and water our herbs. They feel so important carrying this can around and watering the plants. It's small, but it does the job. We love that it's made with safe materials for our kids. Definitely worth getting! 5Adorable set that got instant approval.I got this for my almost 2-year-old niece for Christmas (my brother suggested a more "active" toy) and she immediately took it out of the packaging and looked for indoor plants to water. I especially appreciated that there are no associated TV/movie characters, as my brother is trying to raise a non-TV zombie. I imagine she'll use this for years to come. 5Strong and Sturdy and Not Made in China!I had doubts about this, mainly from the other Green Toys products we own. We have a tractor (the orange one with the trailer) and some bath toys. I knew that the plastic on some of those wouldn't be strong enough for a shovel (I have rough boys and we have extremely hard soil they use it in). Luckily this plastic is a bit stronger and thicker. There's enough give so as not to snap, but not too bendable. They also love the watering can and the rake. We didn't realize our tablets were synced and he must have hit one-click shopping that has now been locked. That big smile and him shouting with glee about how he had been wanting and wanting it made my day. The toy is very durable, and he could actually dig with the shovel and move dirt with the rake. I'm so glad he found it! 5Very happy!Very sturdy and hard-wearing. Even the rope handle comes clean easily after a day in the dirt and is very substantial. We received another Green Toys toy recently, the orange tractor, and I was not as happy with the thickness and resilience of the plastic. This, however, is the quality I expect and have always gotten with Green Toys. The shovel and rake are useful, as it the watering can. My 3yo was surprising excited to receive it as a birthday gift and we have used it all regularly since. 5
