    He's preciousHe is such a sweet and cute little guy. His arms are nice and long and his hands are perfect to hold onto when falling asleep. He is very soft and washes well. If purchasing for a child or if you just collect monkeys this little guy is precious...I am so happy to have him! The eyes, nose, and mouth are sewn on so no worries about a child swallowing them or pulling them off. It's a safe purchase for anyone. The ad gives the size, which is spot on...he's lovable 5Lovely Little Monkey FriendThis monkey is the cutest little guy I've ever seen. I collect Jellycats and I own about 74 in total. I always order them from the seller "Hippo Tails". I have pretty much all of the sizes but the small ones are my favourite- they are about the size of a beanie baby so they can be easily stuck in a pocket which I appreciate, and they have shorter fur than the larger sizes which I prefer as well. I always sleep with one in the crook of my arm- they're very comforting. All Jellycats are incredibly soft and this one is no exception- in fact, it may be even softer than most. The fur on the face and tail is very short and feels velvety and lovely when new, and the body is super silky and soft. Even his tiny nose is soft- it's a faux suede material. All Jellycats change texture as they experience lots of love, but that is to be expected with any stuffed animal. I wash my Jellycats in a pillow case on cold in the washing machine, and then transfer the pillow case to the dryer on the lowest setting. I wouldn't recommend drying them in the dryer without being in a pillow case- it melts their fur. All in all, another lovely friend by Jellycat. I cannot recommend them enough for children and adults alike. (I'm 18 in case you were wondering) 5PREMIUM QUALITYMy niece passed away in 2017. She loved monkeys. I was going to be out of the country (and away from family) during the anniversary of her passing. I felt bad and wanted to somehow include honoring her during the trip. I ended up purchasing this monkey and had a custom shirt made for it with my niece's name. I took the monkey with us everywhere and posed him in various places. The monkey is super cuddly and very durable. He sets up unassisted too which I like a lot. I would definitely order more of these. This brand appears to be of high quality. The kind of plush you could pass down generation after generation. 5Jellycat Monkey is My Grandson's FavoriteI purchased Jellycat Monkey along with a book about him for our infant grandson in NZ for Christmas. It quickly became his favorite cuddle toy. In fact, after a month or two, he wouldn't go to sleep without it. My daughter feared he might not sleep if Jellycat Monkey were ever lost. So I went on to Amazon to buy a second monkey. I was unable to find the set with the book--which was perfect, as we didn't need a second book--and so saved myself some money when buying the second Jellycat Monkey solo. He is now safely in NZ with our grandson, allowing our daughter to always have a clean monkey on hand for our little guy.Jellycat Monkey is incredibly soft and pliable. Our grandson, now five months old, sucks on the monkey's hand. No fur has ever come off in his mouth. This is an incredibly well-made stuffed animal. I would highly recommend it! 5So cute and cuddly!Jellycat stuffed animals are adorable with a capital A, and this cute little guy is no exception. We bought this monkey for our expected grandchild and can't wait to give it to him/her. The monkey should be just the right size for little hands to grasp and is soft and cuddly. The monkey's expression is sweet as can be, and I love its tail. 5Monkey & my Little Granddaughter make beautiful memories!My granddaughter has had several of these. She lives in Switzerland. She has been carrying this monkey all over the world with her. They had lost Monkey on a recent trip and she was devastated. Her Dad told her that Monkey went on a vacation to the US! She was so happy. So I ordered Monkey and when he arrived to my house I took a picture and sent to her. I had him in the car in a seatbelt, she was ecstatic! So I shipped him to Switzerland and she got him in time to take with her on a trip to Brazil. Luna was a flower girl in the wedding last weekend. See attached amazing pic that someone posted on Instagram of her! So precious! Monkey is very very special to my Little Luna! You can't go wrong with this monkey! 5Love the Jellycat stuffiesMy daughter has the bashful bunny and has loved it for years. It has become another member of the family :D My oldest boy had to have one, too, so I got him a Jellycat dog. Then my youngest boy started getting jealous, so I got him this monkey. The monkey became his new best friend instantly. The Jellycat stuffed animals are so soft and the 12" is small enough for the children to manipulate for play yet big enough to cuddle. They maintain their uprightness but also have floppy arms to allow the animal "reach for" or "hold" things. Our kids really like to pretend that the animals are alive, so we humor that by including the animals as "friends." Because of this, the kids are instantly calmed when squeeze their Jellycat stuffed animals. When they get really old and dingy, I buy a new one to replace the old and tell the kids their stuffie went off to a special spa day and came back looking like new. They don't second-guess me because their "friend" looks the same as before! 5GET THE MEDIUM SIZE INSTEAD!I don't know why my kid loves this doll. Truly don't know why I have to shell out $32.50 for a stuffed animal. But, kids sometimes have a mind of their own, especially if they see their friend has something.In any case, I would suggest you guys get the medium size. We were gifted a JellyCat Lion while my son was in the nicu. Fast forward 3 years later and my son still has the lion (almost like new), a monkey, and a cow! He s obsessed with these! He has to bring them to bed every single night, hug them and tell them nigh-night , and then when he wakes up in the morning, they come back downstairs with him! The skinner limbs make them easier for little hands to grasp, they are so stinking soft, and the quality is fantastic. Like I said - we ve had the Lion for 3 years and it still looks brand new! (Granted, we don t take them out of the house or car for any reason). I highly recommend these to anyone and if it was in our funds to do so - I would buy every single JellyCat animal in this style!! 510/10 highly recommend for babies and kids.I buy a different jellycat for all my nephews and nieces. They love them! Brother just announced his next progeny, and I got this little monkey for him. The monkey is much cuter than anticipated. Hes got a lovely little face! He's also very soft and snuggly. Our family has the pig, dog, cat, bunny, elephant, dinosaur and now monkey. All the bashful kind. Get one, you won't regret it! 5
