    A repeat baby favorite!I have the Yellow Ear- Mortimer the Moose- for my son who still loves it two years later. It has held up well through the wash and a lot of wear and tear. There must be something about it because my daughter prefers this one over all our other similar infant toys too! It has been great for dangling with the patterns on the feet, fun for squeaking to interact with her and good for holding with different textures for her to explore.The little squeaker in the moose gets turned around easily so it can be a pain to work that but far from a problem worth deducting a star and the only criticism I have of the toy. It was my nieces favorite too and one I'd recommend to all new moms. 5Love!We've had this toy since my daughter was 2 months old and she loves it! She is now 5 months and it's been so fun watching her become more coordinated in the way she plays. This moose has soft teething antlers, hard teething rings, crinkle feet, jingle feet and a soft fuzzy body. It really has everything my daughter wants to play with in one toy! It also has a squeaker in the body but we don't really use that feature because we don't want to confuse the dog into thinking its one of her toys. 5The Best Infant Toy!UPDATE: For those concerned about washing the toy. I've seen a few reviews stating you cannot wash it. I always washed mine on delicate cycle with Dreft and air dried it. Washed up real nice. No issues.Mortimer the Moose was a hit with my daughter who is only 3 months old but VERY active and attentive.The moose has so many nice colors to attract my daughter's attention. In fact, as soon as she saw the moose, she smiled and kicked.Given the size of the moose (fairly large), it is not a problem for her to handle it since there are so many places she can hold on to. She is easily able to grip onto the mooses legs and/or "ring" tail (the tail of the moose is 2 textured rings, which makes for easier handling with little ones that have such small fingers).The ears are gummy and great for teething babies. But for my 3 month old who has no teeth just yet, she is content to suck on the mouth of the moose which is soft, instead. The nice thing about this is I don't have to worry about the fur coming off and her choking on it.This moose is wonderful for her motor skills. I like the fact that it is all-in-one--a chew toy (ears are gummy); a rattle (2 hoofs rattle), a crinkler (two hoofs crinkle when squeezed); has play rings (tail is made up of 2 colorful, textured rings); a stuffed animal (something to hold that's soft and cuddly); the scarf crinkles; the body of the moose has a squeak toy inside, so when you press the body it makes a squeaking noise; and last but not least, it even has a hook (ring shaped with opening) to allow you to hang the moose any where you'd like.For the price, it's a wonderful gift, a great deal and will sure to be a hit with the infants! (BTW, even my 3 year old loved it!) 5My son loved his!This was my son's favorite toy when he was a baby. Being my 2nd child, I was not as sentimental with him as I was with my first and I foolishly gave this toy to someone else when he outgrew it. His older sister still has her favorite baby toy and he wanted to know why he didn't have his. Every year for Christmas we give our kids a gift of meaning, so I went ahead and snatched this up before they stop making it so we can give it to him for Christmas next year. He loved chewing on this and playing with all the nifty feet when he was a baby. The sweet boy we gave his original to loved it as well. It's a great toy! 5Perfect child's toyI have had these connected to the handle on my children's car seat carrier for the last 4 years. I have a car seat the snaps in and out of the car for my young child, (now on child number 2 ) and I put this onto the handle that you carry the seat by, it gives my young son ( now daughter ) something fun play with that they can chew on, spin around, and develop motor skills, while keeping them entertained as they sit in the seat on car rides, or in a shopping cart trip through the local grocery store. I highly recommend this for any parent with young chlidren ( FYI I gave the same review to Sassy Links Rattle - as the two of them have been together the whole time. ) 5Best All-Around Toy from Newborn and forward!'Morty', as we call him, has become our 5-month old's best buddy. I introduced him to her when she was a newborn by hanging him from the mobile above her swing and she would stare at his black and white patterned feet. This helped her with tracking motion right from the start. Then as she got a little older and became able to grab things, she gravitated toward his crunchy feet, especially the one with the bell in it. Now that she's teething, she frequently munches on his antlers and teething 'butt rings'. She also finds his soft fur very comforting and will often burrow her face in it when she's upset. This is an all-around amazing toy, as simple as he seems, and I'll definitely be purchasing him for anyone I know who's having a child in the future. Bonus: moose are my absolute favorite animal, so it makes me silly-happy that she loves him so much! 5My daughter loves her MooseyMy daughter love love LOVES this moose. It entertains her through just about anything. When in her car seat she used to cry seat each time the car stopped. That is gone. The moment I put her in I give her Moosey and she is good to go until we get home, and even after we get there. This includes being stuck in hour long traffic. It also worked for a 4+ hour road trip. At home Moosey gives me the time I need to get chores done, or have a bath. She keeps her company for HUGE stretches of time.She loves the many colors and sounds from different parts of the body. When she was still very tiny (she was less than 4 pounds when born) Moosey's body parts were small enough to fit into her tiny hands and mouth. The antlers are bendable and that is now her favorite part to munch on. That and one of the feet that crinkles. I love that the moose has so many features. The ears and some of the feet crinkles. There are also bells in the feet that make different sounds. The fabric holding the car seat attachment has a spring action and the fur has a great, soft texture. The scarf also crinkles, and the different colors of the entire toy are very bright and vibrant.At almost 6 months old Moosey is just about the only toy that she plays with. Every other toy she may play with it for a few minutes and then she is looking for something else to do. Not so with the moose. She is her Moosey. 5Child can pull fur off of mooseWe love the other Lamaze toys, but the fur comes off on this moose. Choking hazard! 1We love Morty Moose!This is probably the best toy I have bought my child. We dangled it from the toy gym when baby was too little to interact, but loved looking at all the patterns on the feet. When baby reached grabbing stage, the tail rings were perfect handholds for slinging it around and all the different fabrics and textures were fascinating. Now we're in teething stage and those antlers are the best--and don't forget the squeak! Always brings a smile :). This toy has aged well with all the milestones, and is still providing great entertainment for a 7 month old. 5Cute moose'Morty' the moose is a hit in our house! We bought this sensory toy for our now 6 month old son who absolutely loves it! There are so many colors and textures for him to touch and play with. There are rings to attach it to a play mat or a swing or even a stroller. The material is super soft and there is even a squeaker on the inside. Mortimer is a long name to pronounce so our 3 year old started calling it Morty moose. Awesome sensory toy!I paid full retail price for this item 5
