    Realistic items for playing school.This was a gift for my two grandchldren, ages 4-1/2 and 6-1/2. It was an instant hit with them, and they were thrilled. It's best to put a support behind the dry-erase board for stability, but the favorite things were the pointer and the bell. And, of course, the stickers. It comes with a few homework-type papers, but we just printed some ourselves. There are hall passes and badges enough to make it seem like a real classrooom and reversible US map/weather map. A plus is the fact that it folds up and closes with a carrying handle, so it's easily put away. One of the favorites this Christmas and definitely makes a good gift.5Our girls love it! (Ages 3-8 and still going strong!)Our girls first started using this when the oldest was 6 and youngest 3...it is now a couple of years later and they still adore it! I knew they would quickly burn through the consumables and, although there is a refill packet available, I didn't want us to have to constantly purchase refills. I decided to take 20 minutes and laminate the paper components and just have them use dry erase crayons for them. It is perfect! The girls play school with each other for hours on end and when their friends come over they immediately gravitate toward the set, too.With little worksheets laminated, the kids get to practice their writing over and over and the reverse has been used as a mini dry erase board for other types of lessons. The stickers are easy to stick and re-stick on the laminated surfaces, too, so the kids can use them as part of their "grading" process. They love every part of this kit and it is so much fun to listen to them while they play with it!5Kit is pretty good, but the bell broke the first dayKit is pretty good, but the bell broke the first day. Also the map has several pictures representing famous things about each state, except for 4-5 of the Southern states, which have no representation at all. We've had it 6 months now and haven't run out of the paper slips, even though she's played with it a lot.5Great for the kiddo who loves to play school!This is such a cute, inclusive school set. My daughter LOVES to play school, and this has been such a fun tool to add to the mix. It's a durable, tri-fold board covered in water resistant red fabric (a good choice with all of the white board washing that takes place). It folds up to be quite thin, and is super light. It's easy to store in a small space, and easy for little ones to carry around with them.On the left is a dry erase United States map with brightly colored states. Under that is a pouch for all of the little extras, including stickers, an eraser and the school bell. The middle is a white dry erase board with the alphabet (both upper and lower case) at the top. Below that are 2 slots filled with 'hall passes' and activity sheets The right side has a full month dry erase calendar. Under that are slots for report cards, grade books and certificates. There are several pages of each booklet. In the center is also a holder for my daughter's favorite part - the pointer! The top has a clock with movable hands that attaches by Velcro.This is a super cute set if you have a little one who is interested in school or loves to pretend. There are endless possibilities with all of the white boards. It also helps with writing, learning the calendar and studying the United States. It's a fun toy that's educational w/o seeming like school work!5Nice portable setup, decent amount of stuff to keep a child entertained. Nice starter set.We'll be giving this to my daughter for one of her Christmas presents so I can't quite yet comment on her how it's liked by her so that update will come later. As far as the item itself, it looks like it will entertain her for awhile. See has been enjoying playing school with what she has at home but this backdrop is a great way to set up a classroom type environment in a portable case. There's several different things she can do and we can definitely add to it with other items from the dollar store like flash cards or name tags. There are alot of stickers which comprise much of the noted number of pieces to this set. We could definitely do without so many of them and would rather have had that substituted for a few more useful things. But for the $11 we got this for as a "used-like new" item (basically the package was damaged but the actual item was still in it's factory sealed wrapping inside so I'd say we got a great deal), this will be alot of fun for her. I'm sure her students will be us or her stuffed animals so she'll need happy.4This is great for himMy little grandson loves to play school and he is the substitute teacher. We have played without anything besides his darling sense of humor. This is great for him. Now we play and even get stickers and reports. I was impressed and she was so excited. It s nice and sturdy and stands up for well. I love that it all closes up for easy storage. There s so many extras inside that make playing school fun - the finger pointer and school bell and little notepads of reports cards and so much more. That pouch is full of fun things!5perfect for the new school studentKindergartner loves it! This is our family's second set. An older daughter wore one of these out several years ago. Its so fun to relive the school day in the comfort of your own home. The pointer is a favorite as well as the sweet little bell. Only one complaint and that is that it does not come with dry erase markers although it does have the eraser?? The middle white board is perfect for dry erase. Luckily we always have tons around the house but if you dont you may want to purchase some to go with this set. It will be worth it and the little yellow storage bag to the left is plenty large enough to store a few extra supplies. This set folds up nicely and is slim enough to store in a narrow space.4Great interactive fun toyThis is a well made product and great for children who like to play school. It includes some useful materials (maps, alphabet, clock/numbers 1-12) and fun stuff (stickers, report cards, etc.). It provides a good way for you to interact with your child and for the child to learn at the same time.Note: The box says that there are 149 pieces. That is grossly misleading as that count includes ever single page in the "books" that are included (hall passes, report card, etc.).5
