My Daughter's Favorite Lovey - Not A Full Sized BlanketFor our baby shower, we received TWO of these Horton blankies. They are lovey sized, not a real-sized blanket. They are perfect for a baby to snuggle up with, or for a toddler to carry around. They are soft, with sateen ears, and ribbons on the nose and tail. The head, trunk, and ear tops are stuffed and plush. The rest is a flat, soft blanket. I'm not sure how people keep thinking they'll be a full-sized blanket, since they have a plush head, it wouldn't be a comfortable one.My daughter decided early-on that Horton was her lovey. She calls him by name and he has to be with her 24/7. This means that his ears are tattered from her rubbing them, he goes in mud puddles, in the dogs' water dish, gets covered in food, and hits the washer at least four times a week. He has held up. We bought a third Horton on Amazon because we know there will be a point where one of her alternating Hortons gets lost. We've got to be ready for that.I'm including some photos of my daughter's love for Horton over the past 15 months. I hope you enjoy them. If you want a lovey for your little Seuss fan, this is the one for you. Mind you, the sateen on the ears does rip away rather quickly, but that doesn't matter to us, because under the sateen the fabric is nice and not rough. We don't mind a bit of tattering on an object that gets so much love.Update: Our daughter is turning 3 soon. She now carries around all 3 Hortons with her. They sleep with her at night, they snuggle with her during the day, and she rubs their ears when she feels poorly. She has asked for one thing for her birthday, "A fourth Horton, please. I'd like to get 10 of them." Their ears are very tattered now from her constant scratching/rubbing, but they still make it through the wash several times a week. She loves them more than anything else and often wears them like hats. 5So cuteThis item is priced so cheap and so cute. I am really happy with it. Very well made and the colors are on point. I unfortunately did not get any pictures because it instantly went into a gift basket for my friend.If your looking at this item BUY IT 5Cute toy that ties to the bookThe toy is just as pictured and appears well made. I like that it isn't too big. The fish bowl and little fishes are just the right size for little hands. But I was surprised to find that the fish bowl is not rigid. I guess that is okay, but may make it a little harder for a young child to use. Also, the packaging was a little odd. The cardboard box has a large opening to display the toy, but the opening has no cellophane. it is just...open. Instead, the box arrived sealed up in an oversized, loose plastic bag. The toy was a shower gift and was difficult to wrap because of this. Overall, I was pleased with the toy itself, and I think Baby will like it. 4I loved this and so did baby seem interested in this toy.I love that it is soft and washable. Someone complained the wiskers a choking hazard but I disagree. The wiskers are thick and well attached and I have no fear of them coming off. I purposefully pulled on the wiskers to make sure they were well attached and did not budge with moderate tug to my satisfaction. Baby can bite and drool all they want on this nice textured item. 5Soft and CuddlyI purchased this for a baby shower. The soon-to-be parents were very excited. It was quite soft when I took it out of the packaging for wrapping and I hope that they will be able to use it for a long time. 5The clear vinyl is sturdy and, for the most partI purchased this for my grandson and it turned out to be a multi-purpose toy. His parents also use it to transport additional small toys when they go to visit friends. He's almost 11 months old and loves to take the fish and other toys out, and put them back in. The fish are just the right size for small hands. The clear vinyl is sturdy and, for the most part, holds it's shape. 5I loved this productI loved this product. It was such a great toy and I was able to do many things with it, including:Using it as a prop while reading along with the storyTeaching my kids colorsteaching my kids opposites and sameteaching my kids to countTeaching my kids inside, outside, in and outPlaying pretend fish tank before they got a fish tankand last but not least (the last topic that has come up playing with them) racism. The book is darling but cheaply made - to the point you need to be careful and watch a with a young child and this book. 3My son's favorite toyThis rattle is my 7 1/2 month old son's favorite toy. He will choose this over any of his other toys, even ones with lights and sound. The rattle is brightly colored (and as red, white, and black are the colors that babies react to most, that is a plus). He loves the little rings around it as well. I love this toy due to the fact that at 7 1/2 months he is not aware that he can hurt himself when he is flinging his arms around. This rattle is soft and does not hurt him if he hits himself with it while he is playing like some of his plastic ones do. I would definitely recommend this to any parent. We originally bought this because he is fascinated by the Cat in the Hat on TV. Even if your child is not a fan of the show, he will be a fan of this toy. It is worth the price for sure. 5
