    PlayhouseI bought this for my 4 yr old niece. She loves it and so do I, however she did inform me that her house doesn't have a bathroom, lol. I like that it comes with markers and can be colored, however she can't color well so there are scribbles all over it now. I kinda wanted to color it myself before I gave it to her. Like others have said its huge and can easily fit 4 or 5 little people comfortably inside of it. I thought that the house would be a heavy duty cardboard, but it's just like a regular cardboard box. So if your child is disruptive then it's not gonna last too long. My niece and her 6 yr old sister have been kinda rough on it and we have to constantly put the flaps back up. And the roof is a little caved in from them trying to color it, so I don't see it lasting too long. Plus where they have been opening and closing the doors a rip or tear has formed. So for $50 that's a bit much. Overall it's nice.Just thought I'd do a little update: Sadly the house is no more. It lasted about a month. However my niece played on and in it while it was collapsed on the floor for a couple of weeks before I threw it away. 4Sturdy, LARGE, playhouse for kids!Really loving the playhouse right about now. My 2.5 year old son has been abusing it since it showed up at our house last week, and it is standing strong. It is a lot sturdier than you'd think it would be! When the delivery arrived, I was shocked to see just how large it was when unfolded! The rooftop comes up to my shoulders, and I stand at 5'5"! It has more than enough room for my two year old, and should he ever invite any friends over, would have more than enough space for them too! There are two doors, which is nice, so that while someone comes in one door, there is an out at the other side of the house. Because the cardboard is so sturdy, I found that when releasing the windows and doors from their openings, I had to use a sharp knife to loosen them for fear I'd tear the door. It took nothing at all to set up, maybe 10 minutes or so, and that was with a two year old running in and out of the partially finished house!Great playroom house for kiddos! 5Kids Love ThisGot it for granddaughter but haven t seen it up, but her dad said it was easy, & she s enjoying coloring it. They must really like it because her little friend s parents wanted to know where to get one. My sister recommended as she got one for her granddaughter. 5Favorite Birthday Present!This was my 6 year old daughters favorite present and her 4 year old brothers love it too! It's well made and and I put it together within 5-10 minutes. It has two sets of each picture (2 kittens, 2 puppies, 2 doorbells, etc.) on the house which prevented so many arguments about who could color which picture. The amount of pictures this house has to color is surprising and my kids love finding all of them. One side note which I feel is very minor, the washable markers came right off of a rug since I wiped it with water as soon as it happened but it did take a few baths to come off of skin. This is still the favorite present after a week and has entertained them for hours at a time....so it's my favorite present also! 5Best winter play for everA month+ later and we still have this in the living room. I tried to put it up and my son followed me pointing at the door begging for his house. They have colored all over it. One thing we did was tape the seams to reinforce them because our kids are really rough on stuff. We also taped it to the floor because it was sliding around. I feel like this is one of the better gifts we have given the kids for many reasons, first it encourages imaginative play, secondly they have decorated it so they have a sense of pride and ownership in it, lastly I feel like this allows me to have more free time because they will play together in this play house and let me cook, read that sort of thing. Another plus into a pretty slim profile for storage. 5One Of My Favorite Purchases On Amazon, Ever.This is such a fantastic product. Rough and tumble kids - be wary. This house IS made of cardboard and some caution must be used while playing in/around it. Having said that, my 4.5 yr old daughter and 1.5 yr old son L O V E this house. We've been coloring it for a month -- it's BIG enough for me and my kids to all sit comfortably inside, or the neighbors to come over and play "house" or "hide and seek". I bought a Dollar Store Tap Light and Command Picture Hanger to hang inside, so the kids can play in it at all hours. It currently sits in my living room -- takes up a lot of space! It is continuing to hold strong and I would definitely purchase this product again. 5I can't tell you how much they loved itI bought this for my 4 yr old neice at Christmas. When my brother's family finished building their house, they moved out and my mom threw this toy away because it took up a lot of room in her living room. She didn't want to try tearing it down. My 8 yr old nephew told me he missed having it and I bought him another one to keep at grandma's house.This time we put it in the basement on a piece of scrap carpet. The kids spent the entire weekend playing and dragging a lot of toys in their fort. I called home last night and the kids were visiting again and I could hear them screaming and having fun in the background.When we put it together, my boyfriend who is 6'3" was immediately pulled into the house to play with the kids. It held him, two kids and our medium sized dog comfortably. There was probably enough room for them to have another child in the fort with them.I have no doubt in my mind that after a few months of them playing rough the doors and windows will get ripped but that's nothing packing tape can't fix. The first one we had, we spent a lot of time coloring. I imagine they'll color this one too, but they were more interested in having a fort. 5Kids loved it!This is a great product for how little it costs. I got mine for about $14 so don't overpay. It takes a few minutes to get it together if you're the only adult building it, like maybe 15. But it's pretty easy. Thick cardboard so it lasts quite a while. Big enough for me to get in with both kids in it. (Girl 8 and boy 10) Has cute little details, like the mail slot. It was fun to have it up in the living room because it gave us something to do together besides turning the TV on. Will definitely buy again. 5This house is greatUnlike many reviewers, I actually bought THIS house *at* Amazon and I want to say that this product is fantastic. Is it very durable? It is cardboard! Is it prettier than an appliance box? Yes! We spent the last week as a family painting and markering all over this house for our two year old niece for Christmas. We used watercolor paints to put soft washes of color all over and used the markers that come with the house to fill in. The markers are FABULOUS. They lasted for the entire project, they colored upside down (unlike Sharpies)and the color was BRILLIANT. They look cheap but they are the best markers I have ever seen. The house looks stunning and quite professional. It will be be given with much more love and care than any plastic house will ever have. It is a wonderful size with 20 sqft footprint. Just big enough for a kitchen and table and chairs- or a whole nursery of babies. The cardboard is bright white without a glossy finish so paints soak in nicely. We thought the addition of contact paper to the inside would be lovely. The tabs on the roof are a bit frustrating and that is my only complaint. This would last a nice long while if placed somewhere and left and NOT repeatedly folded and put away. With a reinforcement of clear packing tape along the roof line- there is no reason it could not last a nice long while (unless your kid is destructive- again, it is a cardboard box). The biggest bonus? When the child gets tired of it, it can be burned to ash and/or composted. It is not a big plastic house that ends up in a landfill!!!!!!!!!!! If it does get torn up- it was not a $250 plastic house but very cheap and can be purchased again for very little money!!!!!!!!! 5Great for children of all agesThis was a gift for my nephew, he was two years old when I bought it. I don't know what to get small children as gifts, they never remember what you get them, and I'm really daft at baby and toddler gifts. He used it for over a year! It's still up in my sister's house. He absolutely adores it! He colored inside and outside, he dragged his sleeping bag and toys inside. It was a little fort for him, even my niece who was 12 at the time played in it and colored it, too. My dad made him a wooden mailbox for the outside. Two year old's get bored quickly with toys, but he just loved this and uses it everyday. I liked it because it's interactive, he has to color stuff, use his hands and mind. So happy with my purchase. I get little videos of him playing in it, and he remembers me, lol, which is important since I don't get to see him as much as I'd like.*It is large, I live in another state, so I had it delivered to my parents' house.
