    Strong, durable, not one long strap it s a strap sowed end to end making the strap a huge circleI loved/hate this. It worked for a swing and climb saucer I bought for my kids. It s strobg and feels very durable. The only thing I disliked is the strap because it s sowed together like one end to the other It s one huge circle and I feel like that limited it s ability to be used with any size tree. I used this on my porch because I have welded pipe porch so it worked out fine but if you are going to put this on a tree I would read the dimensions of the strap carefully. I thought it was going to be one long strap that you could wrap around but it s not. It had a lot of slack left as my poles at only like 3 inches and it was hard to fix the strap because it twist and tangled as you re putting it on. 4Simple and SecureWe bought our one year old a swing for our backyard tree, but were nervous to hang it (having a couple of older brothers who like to pull and push the baby in the swing themselves, or try to climb onto the swing like a rope ladder). After doing some research, these straps came up and I am SO glad we bought them. They were incredibly easy to install and are so secure. Would absolutely recommend for anyone hanging a swing for their kids on a tree branch or the like. 5like a car seat belt or strongerThe nylon strap looks very strong, like a car seat belt or stronger. Nevertheless, our 150 lb teen daughter managed to wear it out within one year from 1-2 hours/day of vigorous swinging. (Yes, she really likes it! Listens to her music on the phone at the same time.) The strap wore through at the bottom between the carabiner hook and the bottom of the branch. The new unit comes with a spinner that may prevent this problem, as my daughter will often spin as well, which is probably inducing excessive wear.My daughter has also worn through several ropes and disk seats, so I don't blame this strap for breaking. I hope the spinner included with the new replacement kit will allow this strap to last for years. 4Secure and easy to setupI started researching eye bolts for a permanent installation in our backyard tree, but had a hard time finding the hardware I could be confident in and was worried I wouldn't have any adjustability once it installed. For now I decided to try the strap method.Very simple to use, thankfully the 4 strap was perfect length to go around my ~1 foot diameter branch twice. Felt sturdy and secure with the included carabiners. Best practice is to have the locking screw pointing down so it doesn t unscrew itself overtime.Time will tell how well it holds up and if it harms the tree, but I plan to take down in the winter to help prolong the life of both the straps and branch. 4Much Better Than Lag BoltsRather than risking lag bolts pulling out of the tree, we decided to use 2 of these straps for much added safety and security. I didn't have a problem with this but make sure you figure in the branch diameter and how much you want to hang down to get the proper swing height from the ground before ordering. They have straps in different lengths.The material quality, stitching and general design is perfect. 5Very easy install.I'm thinking I received a new and improved model. My strap was very much like the original picture complete with swivel and cantilever - both very heavy. The pre sewn spot for the cantilever hook is quite apparent and the strap i received did not have the odd loop so many questioned. I am a 5'5" and hung this 12 feet in the air on a branch that hands over a downward sloping hill. I used a step ladder, but could only go up a few rungs because of the incline. Though I thought I might just end myself with this task, it turned out quite the opposite. With the cantilever and swivel already attached, I just tossed that heavy end up and over the branch allowing the heavy metal pieces to fall through the open strap and gravity did the rest. It did take 3 tries, but the entire install took less than 5 minutes. It was very easy. We won't get the swing we are attaching to it until tomorrow, but I'm already happy with it. 5Updated!!! Do not buyUpdate: this thing broke and sent my kid crashing to the ground in 60 days. Junk.Old day 1 review below:After my kids tree swing rubbing thru the rope twice in less than a year (he lives on this thing) I decided to go for something else. This is ridiculously easy to install and looks pretty tough. Hardware that came with was very heavy duty but I didn't use it all.It's Jan 2019 and just installed. If I haven't edited this 6 months from now it's already working longer than my rope did.I will edit if it breaks too. 1We have worn out many ropes, our children play ...We have worn out many ropes, our children play outside year round, only allowed 30 minutes a day on iPads and computers, so outside play is their domain and the web tree swings are an everyday play toy, we would go through a 500lb test weight nylon rope from hardware stores about every month and a half, after purchasing this, we haven't had to go to the store, buy new rope and climb back up the tree (62 feet to the limb). Cheap investment. Embarrassed I didn't think of it first. 5Better for bark!We needed a really long tree kit for our tree swing, and this was perfect. At first we only ordered an 8 ft kit and it wasn't enough. These straps are perfect as they don't rub the tree, there is merely tension and only while being used. When not in use, the straps "relax" and give the tree more slack. Much better than doing a swing with a rope that will slowly saw through the bark because it moves. These straps stay in one place.They're sufficient enough to hold my 6 ft husband when he sat on the swing too. Very strong, I have perfect faith in our new tree swing. I would definitely recommend this tree swing kit. 5Appears exactly as described in descriptionArrived quickly and well-packaged. Came with all stated pieces and all pieces appear well-made. Installs in seconds and is very secure without chance of slipping as there is no tying needed. I bought this to replace previous straps that wore out over time and broke within a year of use (by toddlers). I just installed this less than a week ago, so obviously I won t know how long it will last at this point. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the straps are a little too long for where I have them but not long enough for me to wrap twice. It would be nice to have them at 3 feet or even 3-1/2 feet, do options would have been nice. It was nice to get the rotational device in the package as straps and not have to purchase separately. 4
