Exactly as expectedSo far it s holding up to my intense 4yo, she loves it and the picture was accurate. Exactly as expected 5Dino Croc!I was very pleased with this figure, probably more so than with the other Prehistoric animal figures I possess. Finding a model for this prehistoric croc was pretty awesome to begin with. When he actually arrived, I was more than happy with what I got. The attention to detail in the sculpt of this figure is fantastic and the paint job is incredible. Each one of the teeth are individually sculpted and painted and the scales are painted with a real naturalistic quality. This figure is bigger than I anticipated him to be and that always makes me happy. Overall, this figure is really durable and great for play. Kids would love this freaky looking croc. But, he's also an awesome find for the serious collector and a real gem for any prehistoric display shelf. 5One of my son's favoritesI love this toy. The teeth are awesome, the detail is well-done (as usual with the brand) but the color shown in the listing photo is a little deceiving. This Wild Safari Kaprosuchus figurine is nice and large. His tail is very long and thick and his mouth is filled with teeth. I think these creatures were pretty fast, their hind legs were quite tall. Being four-legged he stands real well. The Wild Safari Kaprosuchus is very cool! 5Too good to be a "toy"What a formidable creature! Very well modeled and painted. This is going to be displayed for educational purposes. Too nice to allow it to be abused by children. 5Ancestral crocodilian...or proto-dragon?I've been finding that many of these figures, whether by Safari or Schleich, are also really useful for roleplaying games. Compared to 25/28mm figures used for those games, this is a frighteningly large creature, comparatively about the length of a bus. Looking at it, one could use it as either a prehistoric crocodile (though a much larger one than kaprosuchus, due to the difference in scale), or as a proto-dragon type of monster.As a toy, this figure is really well-done. The sculpt and paint jobs are top-notch. The pose is dynamic and menacing. It has a realistic look to it that illustrates how different ancient crocodiles were to their descendants. The only possible downside to it, and this depends on the kid, is that it isn't posable.
