    The key to Spy Gear and all toys is low expectationsGoing with low expectations for this kiddie "go pro" camera makes it a great toy. The camera works as described. Picture and sound quality for the videos are good enough, even better than some other Spy Gear products such as their camera that can peak around corners and their video walkie talkies (both of which have worked just fine for us). It is worth the price. Transfering video to your computer and charging the camera are easily done with the included USB cord. Our Windows desk top computer was able to connect with it right off without software or hardware trouble. My 9 year old son loves this and contrary to other reviews, it works just fine. If you are expecting the real Go Pro, put out the money for the adult product. 5Its an OK toyThis is a toy, don't expect great picture quality, because it doesn't give that. Yes it takes pictures and videos. You get your pictures and videos from your computer after uploading them. For a kid it's worth it. My son enjoyed it. The battery does not last long though. 4Awesome toyI got this for my son for Christmas and it has exceeded my expectations! This camera works so well and is clear video! The audio can be fuzzy at times but it is a great video camera for kids. The head band is comfortable and the camera fits in it nicely. You can take pictures one by one, consecutive photos or use the camera and load them up to your computer. He has had fun with it so far. 4Kids had fun, parents not impressedThe kids loved having a camera to play with. They thought it was cool to have something to run around with that I wasn't yelling behind them not to break it, drop it, etc.First, we are a pretty tech savy family, but I had to get out the instructions to figure out that you hold down the photo button for awhile to get the camera to turn on. Not a big deal, but putting the words Power or On on the camera itself would have been helpful.Next we played with it in the house. First thing we noticed though is that there is no sound to know if you took a picture or light on the back to know if you are recording. This led to many pictures and videos of the floor and ceiling. Also in low light, it didn't do so well. The photos in a well lit room however were of decent quality and the kids had fun dancing and using the photo burst feature.The kids then took it outside. Again the photos, if they and the camera were relatively still were okay (good kid quality anyway!). The video, if the cameraman was moving though, suffered horribly from rolling shutter. It's difficult to watch and very wavy. Again though, we aren't trying to win any awards with the video and the kids thought it was fun to clip it to their scooters.We had no issues viewing photos and videos from the computer. Only thing that would have been better was if it could hook up to their tablets and get me out of the middle!I received this from BzzAgent for free in exchange for product trial and reviews. All in all it's a fun gadget for the kids to play with for the price, but know that the quality is kid quality photos/videos and the newness will wear off quickly. 3Great product for price!!!Wow! It took a little bit to figure out all the buttons but there is a website that you can go to and watch videos that detail all of the usage of this camera. This is definitely a great camera for a young boy and I won't be sad if it gets broken because I could easily replace it. My son loves it and I think this is perfect for him to learn how cameras and video recordings work. The downside is he doesn't see the picture until it's uploaded to my computer so he doesn't really know for sure if his pictures or videos look good but he definitely enjoys it and takes it everywhere. 4
